This grand, early 20th-century Scottish Baronial–style home resembles a wing of Balmoral Castle.
Visit their new display to learn about the Magnificent Seven
The entire place was a masterpiece. The architecture is art and I literally felt like a princess exploring her lawns
My first time going here. I went to view art as part of PatrARTism celebrating TnTs 60th year of independence. Great parking, lovely hosts, nice location.
Nice to see the updated building. The exhibition is worth a look.
I used the castle for my wedding photos. Its a very beautiful spot. I didnt even use it in its entirety but I cant wait to see my finished photos
Public buildings in Trinidad and Tobago arent friendly to the public!
Just visiting next door
Had the opportunity to go inside of this building once years ago and was blown away by the architecture up close. Beautiful both inside and out.If you get the opportunity, you should take it.
I havent stayed there but it looks like its peaceful.
Just a beautiful place
Beautiful grounds well kept
Beautiful architecture. Acoustics were good
Beautifully restored, well worth a quick visit. Interiors and exterior lovely. A knowledgeable tour guide.
It warmed my heart to see how this phenomenal heritage building had been restored. Many of the architectural and design features are original and the workmanship on them was exquisite. The best part was having a very knowledgeable guide who clearly had a passion for her work here at Castle Killarney.
So beautiful, great for taking bridal pictures
Very beautiful and majestic
Breathtaking building restoration! I went for the art exhibition but the castle could have been on show by itself.
Love this historical architectural feature right in the middle of the city. Lovely design, stained glass windows, and wooden furnishings. Pro tip: do your research before you go because there is no information onsite, no tour guide and the guards there are not at all interested in answering your questions about the castle
Beautiful restoration of our history. Great job!
3 stars only because it is a beautiful building! Not enough information is given in relation to the architecture and history of the structure. During the tour (and I use this word looselyvisitors are left to wonder about the period furnishings and the purpose of the rooms. Whenever the building is open to the public management should ensure that the toilets are supplied with water.
Super historical structure and very well maintained
Beautiful , historical building. So glad they did the restoration work. Should make it more accessible to the public.
Lovely restoration,I would like to see tours better organized with a history of the castle by the custodian.
Very nice place to have weddings great visual ascetic
A photo i took in front of the Stollmyer Castle in wild flower park, it was awesome.
A beautifully maintained historical property
Everyone should see this the restoration is beautiful!
Rich in history and an interesting architectural story
Beautiful building for pictures however the castle does not have a lot to see and not much activity. There is also no history on the building or the family of the castle. Has great potential to be a lovely tourist spot to visit however with a unclear photo rules and limited activity you are better off visiting somewhere else.Be mindful management is very rude and obnoxious. The day we visited the castle there were no other patrons and provided the limited amount of things to see ( there was a carnival display which was downstairs and we were not allowed to view upstairs, we spent the time taking photos with and without a professional camera. We were informed that were allowed to take photos just not of the paintings and we also queried again if it was ok to use the professional camera which we were given a yes. The guards asked if we were doing a photoshoot which we were not and they said ok. We spent about a total of 2hrs at the castle which was a mix of seeing the exhibition but mostly taking photos to pass time (a group of 5to be accused by management that we were doing a photoshoot and we have taken enough photos. All persons were dressed very differently and not fitting of a photoshoot. There was no signage, no disclaimers , no warnings that we were doing something against policy and she could not give a clear guideline as to what is deemed as an appropriate number of photos for a group of five young people; but merely the fact that she never experienced anyone come take "so many photos". Management should focus on providing more to see or more activities to make the castle much more interesting must see spot
This place is breathtakingly gorgeous. A national treasure that needs to be protected.
One of the famous magnificent 7 structures around the Queens Park Savannah in Trinidad. It was recently restored and currently used to small functions and art exhibitions. See my recent photo taken before an art exhibition in 2018.
A quiet step back in time amid the hustle and bustle of today.
They did a great job restoring this place
Great historical site to visit.
A historical land mark known as 1 of the great 7, that has been beautifully restored. Visit if you can as it is rare to be open to the public
Very well kept building and an interesting exhibition.
The carnival historical display at the castle is interesting and informative. Have a walk around and see the sights before it closes on the 30th March 2019.
Very good exibition of our cultural history i give my greatest praise to the ones who made the exibition. Such a great success
Fully restored with knowledgeable tour guides ......be sure to check out the carnival exhibition which runs till the 30
That’s my dream home it just remarkable and a unique looking castle
Very peaceful. Part of our history preserved for future generations.
Well played out friendly tour guides
I work at Stollmeyers castle and I love it
Beautiful historical castle showing Trinidad and Tobago rich History
Recently restored, beautiful mansion with art exhibit inside. Might have to set up a tour ahead of time.
if yu like history, this is a place yo ucan start with around the savannah.
Beautiful and refurbished 19th century castle.
Wonderful portal to Trinidad history. Under going extensive restoration. Hopefully will finally be put to good use again since government took it over more than 50 years ago.
Part of the Magnificent Seven this is a must see when in Port of Spain. It showcases the splendor of Trinidads past
This Trinidad & Tobago landmark is currently under construction. However, the wonderful structure is part of the Magnificent 7, a row of majestic and well constructed buildings.
