Recently bought a wood burning stove from here. The guys were very friendly and knowledgeable, matched prices with a competitor locally, and despite problems in the supply chain, they sourced my stove pretty quickly.Had it fitted through one of their regular installers. What can I say, Simon and Mario were absolutely brilliant 👏 they put up with us umming and ahhing on 3 visits. They gave us loads of advice and information on the fires and log burners we were considering, both the positives and negatives. I can highly recommend the shop. Great showroom with lots of fireplaces and fires on display to choose from. Staff were very helpful and not at all pushy in giving advice and assistance to choosing the best type of fire and fireplace for our needs. Delivery and fitting was arranged fairly quickly. There was a slight manufacturers blemish on the fret to the fire and it was no problem to get it replaced with a new one. Very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend Stoke Flame. The staff are very pleasant and courteous to deal with and I would like to say thank you to Simon and Mario especially.

Ordered an inset remote control electric fire, and Simon was really helpful. I had to send a few emails prior to ordering, as it was going to be inset into a media wall, and the joiner needed info and Simon got back to me within the hour each time. Great service

We made the unfortunate decision to visit this showroom last year. We felt as we were intruding on their lunch break and felt uncomfortable asking any questions.We left and went to The Stove Yard where we bought a beautiful Hwam log burner.

What an amazing place! So many inspiring design ideas and superb products. We were given some excellent advice by both Ian and Luke, within no pressure to buy, but we happily made our choice and ordered a fabulous new fireplace.

We visited the shop on 2 occasions. The first time was to gain an idea of what we wanted and what would be suitable, the second time was to confirm the fire that we were having and to make sure it would fit into the space in our living room. On both occasions we were served by Simon who was extremely patient with us, very knowledgeable about a large range of fires and very helpful all round. Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Very good quality products and the showroom is beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble and help was always there when needed. The products are laid out very well so you can get a feel of what they are going to look like and there is something for every style room. He was very knowledgeable with the products available but also made us aware of things we would need to consider in our home, things that we hadnt thought of. Because of his honest, informative approach we were more than happy to go back to make our purchase. Great customer service!

Would highly recommend. Called around other fireplace retailers but these were the best for price and customer service. Luke was very knowledgeable and explained everything to a fireplace newbie. Didn’t feel pressured into buying. Delivery sorted quickly too.

Called this morning before the showroom had barely had time to open. Mario whose excellent customer services sorted me with a fire, surround, and hearth within about 20 minutes. Paperwork sorted and on my way to work within 45 minutes tops. Hows that for service.

I’m posting this on behalf of my parents Frederick and Christine, who visited Stoke Gas this week. They were dealt with by Mario. My parents are both in there 70’s and are both slightly hard of hearing. They were both extremely happy with Mario’s service, being so very helpful and treating them with respect and explaining everything clearly and with no unnecessary sales pitching. A big tick from my father!

Took my mum to look at replacing her gas fire. Luke was really helpful, he listened to what my mum wanted and then showed her a few different options, he was clearly very knowledgeable but not pushy at all. There were a good range on display which helps when you can see them. Fire chosen a delivered within the week. One very happy customer.

We recently bought an electric fire and fireplace from Stoke Gas. Ian was very helpful and explained the many options available. We found the right answer to our requirements.There is a wide range of products on display covering different fuel types and styles.Darren was very professional planning the installation too. A good place to start your hunt for a new fire and fireplace.

Ordered fire from lovely and helpful salesman. Paid upfront. Heard nothing for month, and then when phoned was told that they were only just delivering fires ordered about 6 weeks before wed ordered ours! Also told that we would have to pick the fire up ourselves, when queried we were told that we had said we didnt want delivery (we had not been asked when ordered if we did/didnt want delivery), so we had assumed that delivery was included (like most places when you spend over a certain amount). When a few more days had gone by, phoned to get refund. All of a sudden the company could magic up the fire, and we went to collect it. Although the staff were not best pleased. The box was damaged, when this was commented on they took it out but there was no obvious damage to fire. We took it home and waited for family to be able to set it up. And... It doesnt work. Fortunately someone could drive to take it in, and the staff were less than happy to give a refund. Very bizarre, especially as the initial experience was so positive. If the first salesman had told us that waiting times were going to be 6-8 weeks we could have made the decision whether or not to continue with purchase. There are other places to buy fires from in Stoke on trent. Shame, weve been coming to this shop on and off since it was opened, made several purchases for various houses weve lived in. Wont be back again though.

Simon was very friendly and helpful. He seemed very knowledgeable and was able to advise about what was and was not practical for our specific situation. We are looking forward to receiving the fire and having it fitted in a few weeks.The fire has now arrived and has been fitted. It works well and we are very happy with our purchase.

We arrived in store and were asked what we were looking for, the staff took note of our answers and showed us to the relevant part of the showroom. They gave us information and answered all our questions about the fires and then left us to have a really good browse. The staff were brilliant and they werent pushy at all, they came back to us to see if we were ok and gave us ideas and answered more of our questions. 5 star rated service and would highly recommend to anyone wishing to purchase a fire. They have plenty of options! We have been to other showrooms and they werent a patch on Stoke Gas & Electric Fireplace & Stove Centre.

Good service. Extensive range on show. From ordering to installation in three weeks. Their fitter Darren and his mate did an excellent job, very tidy and fitted a balanced flue fire and surround in about five hours. Excellent - James Welsh.Too hot for the dog.

There are lots of fireplaces and fires on show and most of them are working so you can see what you are buying. There is no pressure on you while you are looking round so you can take your time .We purchased a 54" marble fire place and electric fire which was exactly what we were looking for. Ian was very helpful and informative .The fire place and fire were delivered on time and looks fantastic now its fitted.I must also thank Stoke Gas for hand delivering a bottle of champagnethat was mistakenly overlooked when the goods were delivered . They drove from Stoke to our house which is 22 miles away now thats what I call excellent service! Thank you
