The ribeye steaks are too thin. Definitely not what I expected.

I had the shrimp basket, for d was great, but the waite was a little later ng, becaus it was packed, around lunchtime.

The meat is good, fresh and cooked well. The place is rustic, not very clean but it is a different experience

How did I live near hope hull for 2 years and never eat here? Went for lunch and had the dam sandwich, and let me tell you, OMG is the only words to describe it! Steak on top of a hamburger pattie, with lettuce tomato pickles and onions between two pieces of Texas toast! Best sandwich hands down Ive ever eaten! If youre in the area DO NOT overlook this little cafe!

You have to stop and get the burger they call the "damn" burger. One of the best things Ive ever ate.

Wow! That Dam Burger … burger, steak, cheese and other typical toppings on Texas toast. Can’t eat it all! I took at least a half home for dinner.

This was my first time going and I must say the food was on point. The food was delicious. They open at 10:30 and close at 2. They stop taking orders at 1:45. If you are in the restaurant they will still serve you

We ate the ribeye steak sandwich and fries and it was delicious. The ribeye was about 1/4" thick and very tender and tasty 😋. It was only $10.00 plus your drink.

Best burger in Montgomery!!! Good people good staff, seasoned staff. Alot of their people have been there over 10 years!!! The owners are genuinely GREAT folks. Homemade desserts daily, meat and three, and made to order menu available as well. All I wish is that they had a second shift!! Good job guys.

Had the Wednesday special: steak burger, lima beans, blackeyed peas and rice. My friends had butter milk pie for dessert and said it was amazing. The price was cheaper then going to a fast food place and very filling. It is inside an actual stockyard where they hold auctions. Check their website for hours though.

Love this place. Food is great. Simple and easy, but you better get there early if you dont want to wait because its always busy at lunch, but definitely worth it. Cant say anything negative about any of the food, but I go there for the buttermilk pie. If you havent tried it before, you wont be disappointed.

By far the Greatest 20 oz Ribeye my Taste buds have ever known.I can say this with confidence, Stockyard, you can have 10 percent of my paycheck.

The food was great, and the staff were very friendly, and personable. They knew all their patrons, and new what they like.

We were headed back to the Gulf Coast and decided to give this local place a try. The burger was so thick and cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is very casual. Give it a try if you are heading down I65. It’s a short drive off the interstate.

Burger was good, steak was amazing and staff and wait service was fun and friendly. Large crowd if mostly worker men. Military and Veteran friendly.

First time here... Stopped by to get a front end alignment from next door... Didnt know they cooked in this place... Thought it was just a livestock yard.... Best steak sandwich I ever ate...

It says food that warms your soul and it does just that. Makes you feel like you are around family. Owners and staff make this place have a heartbeat that needs to last forever. Highly recommend. Will be back!!

I had the Stockyard Salad and my handsome cowboy had a steak sandwich. Both delish! Buttermilk pie for dessert! Awesome as usual!

Food was great along with price. My waitress was really nice and kept up with us even during a very busy lunch hour.

Always delicious food and friendly service. I had moved away for 20 years and this was the first place I wanted to go back to for a wonderful meal! Planning to get fresh cut steaks soon for Fathers Day 🙂

First time eating here on today for lunch. Had the "Stockyard Salad" with steak and tater tots (in the salad). What a nice combination. Their Ranch dressing taste homemade...rich & creamy. It was a decent amount of people around 1pm. They close a 2pm. Its a meat and three type grill with daily specials. There is a 10 ounce and 12 ounce steak on the menu look at least 2-3 inches thick. Daily Specials $9.00 with a drink and dessert.

When I traveled thru here, everyone mentioned this place, a must see, they said. Well to see it, it was worth it. However, the food was good but not great. Go hungry so it will taste better 😏

Another meat and three restaurant in Montgomery. Menu changes daily and today was a choice between hamburger steak and chicken fried chicken. Portions were good and meat was flavorful but mashed potatoes tasted like instant. Service was very good and was in and out in 40 minutes. And like MacArthur said, I shall return.

Excellent meat and three with some of the best burgers and steaks in the city. Come early and be prepared to wait. You can call ahead to order or reserve a table but they do run out. Menu changes every day. Great desserts too

This is one of my favorite places to eat. However, plan ahead and either show up early (11:00 AM), or bring plenty of time, since they are pretty much packed around lunch time, and waiting 15-20 minutes to be seated is a fairly regular occurrence. Their specialty is Meat & Three, however, they have a specialty called the "Dam Sandwich" - it’s a hamburger and ribeye sandwich all in one and very tasty.

Fantastic food! Great prices on daily lunch specials. Service was great, too. One waitress remarked that the cooks didnt give someone at our table enough collard greens, so she brought an extra side for him.

A friend recommended it as a great hole in the wall place to grab a quick lunch and it was awesome. Ask for the "Dan" its a sandwich not on the menu that consists of ribeye on top of a hamburger Patty. The seasoning is spot on. Neither of my fellow diners were able to finish it and the crinkle cut fries it came with (their both skinnier than me what can I saybut they raved about the sandwich and even had me try a piece and it was indeed the right spot to have lunch. I opted for the Thursday special which was pepper steak and 3 sides. I was hoping for a real kick in the gravy but there wasnt. I certainly could have added hot sauce to it as every table had 2 bottles. The sides were good, I had the speckled butter beans and creamed corn then opted for dessert instead of a third side. Our server recommended the (Im kicking myself for not remembering the name exactlybuttercream pie (I thinkand it put an exclamation point on the meal it was amazing. While looking around the restaurant we noticed a meat case where they would customer cut steaks for you and we all wished we had brought a cooler with us for the road trip. In summary great hole in the wall for meat and 3 or for the Dan. Definitely check it out. It is in the actual stockyards where they do cattle auctions on Mondays.

The world is a better place just because the Stockyard Grill exists. "Why would you put a slice of ribeye on a hamburger?" said no Stockyard Grill ever. Do yourself a favor: get the Dam Sandwich.

Best tender beef tips, but the rice was a bit mushy. Squash was tasteless, strawberry cake & cream cheese icing were both straight up from a box or can. Sweet cornbread tasted like Jiffy mix-but I love Jiffy mix! Great loyalty program - buy 5 lunches get 6th free. Offer mil discount!

Great on multiple occasions! What a Ribeye Steak this place served us on one trip and on a few others we received old school good meat & 3!! This is good cooking at its best!!If youre not early, be prepared to sign-in and wait a little bit, because the "Secret" of this place is out.

We stopped by this little joint while on a road trip and it was like finding hidden treasure.Three minutes off the interstate, it is easy in, easy out. The staff are super friendly (think old south), and our hostess, in particular, made us feel welcomed.The food though...wow! We had a double cheeseburger and the catfish basket. The burger was amazing--juicy, and fresh with flavor bursting out of it like fireworks; easily one of the top 2 or 3 burgers I have ever had. The catfish was equally great as it took me back to the church fish fries of my youth. The only thing missing was cheeses grits and the pastor walking around greeting everybody.If you have a few minutes to stop by you wont regret it. If you live in the area but have never been, then you are missing out. I miss it already, but I will be back, guaranteed.

Great food and a very casual place. The mushroom and swiss burger was, I believe the best Ive ever eaten. They have a few deserts, and decent selection on the menu. BUT! If you arrive later in their serving hours, loan on waiting for a seat and to be served. Its very busy.

If you want amazing Prime Rib than this is the place. Prime Rib Tuesday’s but you better go early or you will have trouble finding a seat! The Lima beans were heavenly and I never thought I ever would say that about Lima beans! Hands down the best Prime Rib within 100 miles!

Love the country menu. Great freash meat chooses with two vegetables or off the grill options. Only downside is the wait. Best to plan ahead for a wait or order to pick up. The desserts are great as well, my pick will always be the Buttermilk Pie.

"Wheres the beef"? Its s here I left off a star because I was confused.I ordered the "Damn Sandwich"So I dont know if I got a steak sandwich with a side of cheeseburger or a cheeseburger with a side of steak?. But it was all good. Skimpy on the fries..

The dining experience was perfect. All of the food came out quickly & piping hot, and just the way we ordered. This is worth mentioning because we waited until12:00 to get in line to eat, and they were vey busy. I had the hamburger and tater tots-very satisfying. My friend always gets the steak sandwich & she lets me get a bite, I always vacillate between the two, but a great hamburger that tastes like the ones you got at home- are far and few between. The quality of the meat is unbelievably good. The only downside is: get ahead of the crowd.
