Stockyard Burgers and Bones in Marietta

At the time I went, it seems quiet. Not very busy as I went after lunch. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and accommodating. I ordered the burger with the Mac and cheese, medium. It was actually prepared the way I asked and OMG! That burger was better than "you know what" I will definitely return with friends! That burger was amazing! Definitely recommend, however parking was trash; but I would leave my car in the street for that burger! JK, I would park out of the way and walk.

This place had solid food and was quite slow when I went. I did find it odd that they were "out" of one of their signature cocktails that was not comprised of complex ingredients. But, having worked in a restaurant for years, weird things happen! Not a huge deal.I will say that while everyone was kind, its definitely more of a place where you have to flag down any staff member of you need them.Overall, quality cocktails (that they could makeand food. Id go back!

The burgers are great! And the bread pudding is amazing! Our waiter was great and you can tell he likes working here.

Had a large group. The service staff was very accommodating and friendly. They were quick and professional. The food was good, we ordered a large variety. No complaints

I visited this restaurant 9/10/22 because I wanted a nice tender steak with compound butter :).I ordered the ribeye and hoped it would be tender at medium well, unfortunately it was not as tender as I had hoped. The mac and cheese and the asparagus were really good though. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I would visit again however, I would try the Steak & Frites to see if I can get the tenderness i was hoping for.

Super saucy with a light touch of brandy that made the dish amazing!

I was so disappointed...tried the vegan burger, which was made of black beans. The burger was cold and it feel apart...it was together like the mix was put on a bun without being cooked. The mac was okay, but I wont be back to visit.

Highly recommended. I ordered the Yard Burger, it came with a sauce that was phenomenal! The blue cheese was really good as well. My waitress was extremely welcoming and I loved the atmosphere. Definitely coming back here.

Our waiter Dakota was phenomenal but not as phenomenal as the food. 11/10

The food was amazing, and I couldn’t recommend this place more. My boyfriend and I took a day trip to Marietta for his birthday and tried this place on a whim and were so impressed by the food and atmosphere. Hayden, our waiter, was incredibly kind and offered great recommendations when we asked! Definitely a must visit when in town!

The food was absolutely incredible 10/10 wouldnt have changed a thing! Our server Dakota was also incredibly helpful, walked us through the menu since it was our first time, and just did an amazing job. Will definitely be coming back!

The food was ok, but the atmosphere was extremely musty (both in feeling and smell). Not a large beer selection. We got the stockyard tots which were good but nothing amazing. Their pimento cheese board was delicious though. We opted not to order a regular entree due to the atmosphere and beer selection.

Came after a tiring day of work and had a mini celebration with my fiancé. Chris was such an amazing and attentive waiter. Had great recommendations and even explained some of the options I asked which was amazing. And my dish?! Even more amazing. Great prices and great people that work there for our first time experience. You definitely don’t get great vibes just anywhere especially for a first time experience. Definitely coming back and definitely recommend this establishment!

The food was phenomenal as always, but the service could’ve used some work. We did not get the recommendations that other tables around us got, we were a party of 5 and were sat at a table for 4 and told we couldn’t get another chair… luckily another table near us had an empty share they were willing to give to our table. The staff cleared empty plates and refills very slowly. I would recommend getting takeout and not eating in at this location…

I got the Mary’s (Lamb Burgerreally good. Got the corn dogs as appetizer and it did not disappoint 10/10 for both items

Great food, great service, Kiera was AMAZING!! The shrimp salad was bomb, and they didn’t skimp on the shrimp like some places do. VERY reasonably priced. Love this place & will def be back!

There were multiple seats that you cant sit in if you are light sensitive because the lights are above the fan and so its strobe lighting. We were originally sat in one of these and then had to ask to move.The staff was incredibly kind and attentive - no complaints there at all!There were not very many burger options and none were really appealing. We got two different burgers and then cut them in half and split them. My husbands was a near perfect medium but unfortunately mine was well done. We were not asked for temperature preferences. The fries were not good. The sweet potato tots were fine at first but got so sweet by the end that I couldnt finish them. The best thing about my experience was the smoked paprika aioli. For the price, we were extremely disappointed. We will not be going back or recommending to friends.

It wasnt a very good experience. We originally got seated at a high-top near the bar and that is where we found the first big issue. The lights in the ceiling are above the fans, so throughout the restaurant, when the fan blades are spinning, the lighting strobes. After a few minutes, it got so bad my wife almost got a migraine. Luckily there was a booth that didnt have this problem and the staff was happy to accommodate, telling us thats a common issue they come across. Once we sat at the booth, I discovered that the floor board that my booth was resting on was so old and creaky that whenever anyone walked by, it bounced my seat. With the orientation of the restaurant, this was a constant. Finally the food: both me and my wife ordered burgers. The burgers at this restaurant are thick but they didnt ask us what temperature we wanted them at. Mine came out medium well and my wifes was well done and dry. The flavors themselves werent terrible. Too bland to really be able to consider bad tasting. Unlike the pictures I saw of the fries, they were not in a cute basket and were just scattered on the plate. That matters less to me than the fact there was only approximately ten to fifteen total fries, much less than what was shown in any pictures I saw on Google. Though the fries I got were very good. The only positive from this experience is that the servers were nice. Overall negative experience and Im not planning on coming back again.

Great food, burgers and Fries were Fantastic! I highly recommend the corn dog appetizers, youll love them! The bartender/server was disconnected and needs to find his happiness somewhere else.... He chased a customer out for not tipping him... WOW! See Kevin the GM, fab guy, he will take good care of you and your family.

A co worker and I came here on a random day for lunch. While we were waiting a guy came in behind us and the hostess bypassed us to greet him.Apparently this guy was part of a large group that was coming in but not there yet. They finish their conversation and the hostess finally acknowledges us. We are informed there is a 45 minute wait to be seated and another hour to get food due to the group coming in. Half of the seats are open and the group hadnt arrived yet. We could have been seated and gone before they arrived.We will not becoming back as its not good to ignore potential customers. Completely unprofessional.

We got the nachos, the mother clucker sandwich, and bullet bacon chicken. Entrees were delicious but I would recommend to pass on the nachos.

The staff was very nice and accommodated my party. They provided everything that we needed. The smell of the placed was a little off putting, but you can overlook it. It smelled of old dirty food mats. The food was good, but Ive had better.

Great place to eat and dine. I had the ribeye steak which tasted great. Marietta square has a lot of shops and restaurants. Parking can be difficult on the weekends. Walking distance from selected parking spaces to the square is not that far.

One of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I made a reservation for a booth 4 hours in advance and it appears that meant nothing because they had not blocked off or held any booths, so we waited 30 minutes as people walked in and were sat at tables. My boyfriend was very clear and concise with his order, but the waiter put it in wrong; so another waitress brought out the food which was not even the item ordered- so he gave the new waitress his order, next, presumably the manager brought out the food and it was STILL WRONG. no apologies from anyone. even after his order was brought they forgot to bring our dipping sauces, and since no one came to check on us, we had to flag someone down. It was our anniversary, and my boyfriend insisted I eat while it was still hot, so i finished my entire meal before his was delivered. It also took 15 minutes for my drink from the bar to make it to the table. The ONLY reason I am giving tow stars is because the food was fantastic.

I had a delicious meal here, I got the crab cakes and the stockyard frites. The place had been newly remodeled, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The cocktail menu is also very creative and the drink I got was very good.My only complaint was that the bathrooms were not super clean while we were there, but hopefully it was just an off night for them. Food was OK. Service was awesome. However for some reason they decided to put recessed lighting on the ceiling and a fan right underneath it, creating a strobe light effect in the dining room. It gave me an insane migraine.

First time eating at Stockyard on Marietta Square. My husband had the chicken and waffles and I had the smoked chicken nachos (on top of fries, they were out of chips). We both enjoyed our meal, it was delicious and we will definitely be back. Our waiter was Tim, he was attentive, funny and made sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for a great place to eat, this is it.

My first time at Stockyard and I was excited to go after seeing it on Kandi and the Gang🤭. The downtown Marietta is quaint and on the smaller more intimate side.. I enjoyed the Mimosa flight, but wish I had an option for wine because Prosecco is dry and not my type of wine. The GA whisky flight was said to be on point and with great options. We ordered wings as an appetizer, but one of the wings were not cooked thoroughly. It was still pink in the inside. My steak was really good, but they didnt have any steak sauce so I asked for a bun to make a sandwich.. I am just one of those people that do not eat steak without the steak sauce..😄 The food was okay, the atmosphere good and the server great.. I would definitely revisit!

Excellent food, excellent service and a atmosphere that makes you want to stay after your meal. The servers are attentive the chef came out to check on how the food tasted! The drinks are amazing! Check this one out yall!

3rd year anniversary dinner :did not disappoint! We ordered the Jane not so plain burger and the mother clucker sandwich on gluten free buns! Thanks to Kevin the manager in duty who answered all of my allergy questions.I will definitely be recommending the establishment from now on!

Our server Mike G. was awesome!! It must have been an off night. My burger was burned on one side, the Lump Crab Cake had zero lump crab meat, the black eye pea salsa on top was delicious.

My first time here. I definitely enjoyed it. Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Sat at the bar. The bartender was nice! It wasnt crowded at all. Nice atmosphere, good location, and good service. Had a good selection of food and drinks. I had the lamb burger and brussel sprouts with bacon sooo good!! I do recommend and Ill be back.

Weve had positive experiences at this location. The food is consistently good and the service is good as well. Weve had burgers, steaks, and the fish, all were good. The prices are fair.

The food was amazing. We had the blackened salmon , Cajun pasta and coffee steak. All dishes were well prepared and very flavorful. Michael G took care of us. I would recommend this stop to anyone.

My cousin and I came here just to get a good meal and drinks and we were really impressed. Our waiter was really nice and the food came in a timely fashion. The drinks were strong and tasty enough. We were in for vacation and googled this place up sooooo glad we did my kids love it so much they are asking me to drive 4 hours on a weekend to come back and eat there. I will have to say the best place I’ve ate at on vacation

Stumbled upon this gem while exploring downtown Marrieta! So glad we dine in her. They have good and spacious indoor set up. Food was absolutely delicious! We had blackened salmon, fish sandwich, fish and chips, and pimiento burger! We definitely recommend this restaurant! We will be back!

This was my 2nd time here. Service is quick and efficient. Wouldve appreciated some recommendations bc the menu is quite diverse. The Burger was good but they killed it with the bbq sauce making for a messy eating experience. They offer a sauce to accompany the burger but theres no way to add or change the taste with it with so much bbq sauce over powering the palette. Beyond that it was a good experience. Food is hot and fresh. I will go back and try something else next time.

Went to dinner for a surprise for a friend and we were presently surprised. Great location in the middle of the Marietta Square. Free public parking right around the corner. The food was great, I had the rib eye with asparagus and Mac and cheese. It was really good. They have a nice ambience and a bar that you can sit at to order drinks. Our waiter was very nice and did great even with 10 of us. I will be going back for sure. The fry plate for an app was really good. I forgot to take a picture of it because we all dove in to eat it so fast. I will be going back.

This place was amazing the first time we tried it, since then it has truly gone down hill. The past times we have revisited in hopes for a better outcome it always gets worse. There’s barely employees working there so service is very very slow, when you ask your waiter for something no one ever seems to come back, you end up waiting 40 minutes for your food, there’s always a confusion with your food and today was honestly the last straw to continue coming here . Ordered my food at 7:15 ish and didn’t get our food till an hour later. They realized that so they gave us free drinks to make up for it. We then FINALLY get our food, drive home (since it was a pick up orderand we open our food to find out our burger has NO BUNS. It was just thrown in there with lettuce. Slow service is one thing, but laziness to not even finish making someone’s burger.., thats something else. It’s a shame such a nice place has lost it’s touch!

Ordered the grilled Mother Clucker, with sweet potatoes tots and it was fantastic!We came here as a party after work, and arrived before most of the dinner crowd. We were sat down with no delay. The server took our order and made some pretty good recommendations if so desired to try something new. Service was good. The burgers we received all tasted great!So if youre interested in the Dirty South burger, it was given a greenlight by a member of our party.The sound levels in the place were fine, and not too loud.

Service was fast and food would have been very good, but 2 medium burger were rare and one medium rare burger was well done, so the kitchen might need some organizational improvement.

I just waisted my entire lunch on horrible soggy food! Not only was the bread soggy (who wants soggy bread?), but the fried cod that should have been crunchy and fresh was soggy and tasted like old reheated fried cod. The lettuce was soggy and old browning. The fried were cold and soggy. It was almost like they just took olf food that didnt sell earlier and put it in a microwave all together to get soggy. Disgusting! Ishould have known better because it took forever for them to answer to place my order and when I arrived there was literally 3 customers in the whole restaurant. I guess I caught them in break, so they have me garbage! I want my money back!

Very much enjoyed my first visit here. Friendly, helpful staff. Food came out quickly for a late lunch. Plexiglass booth dividers for a bit of safety (during COVID). Food was delicious, hot, flavorful and well-presented. Recommended.

Really great food, good service and super cute dining. From the outside I was expecting a total bar atmosphere but they have a cozy dining area that’s great for intimate dinners with friends. The burgers were huge and flavorful! While there I had to make a trip to the restroom...SPOTLESS! So impressed with this experience.

Really loved food here. Quality, quantity and fair price. We ordered royal cheese burger and angry clunker with sides that of asparagus and loaded mashed potatoes. Food is amazing especially I really enjoyed loaded mashed potatoes. Would definitely revisit this place

Been here a few times and and always had a consistent good experience. The restaurant was pretty empty when we came and the service was pleasant and quick. Drinks were great and we really liked the pimento cheese appetizer. Dinner plates are large so you’ll definitely be filled up!

A phenomenal dining experience curiosity of our server James. From start to finish we received amazing recommendations from choice of beverage to varying choices for dining on the menu. We had the dirty south burger with the Stockyard Frittes, and sampled the Creole BBQ shrimp. We finished the experience with the bread pudding which was simply heavenly. Honestly the food is fantastic but our server made it an experience.
