Loved it. Had a reservation for a party of 25. Food and service were both excellent.

Very nice and welcoming atmosphere, we sat in the outer covered front patio. Service was good and the food was good! We all finished our food and we pleased. We shared all 3 appetizers for Sunday Brunch: donut holes, burrata, and deviled eggs. I got the Brunch Smash Burger. My only draw back was that the burger patties were too thick for a smash burger BUT it was still pretty good.

Delicious. The menu was creative and the presentation was beautiful.

The service was good and the rhubarb margarita we had was really good. A+ to the bar. Weve tried Stirnella 3 times over the past few years and it is never really great. Its ok food just not great. Tonights a good example. I got the falafel sandwich and my spouse got the burger. The sandwiches were decent, not great. The fries were few and they seemed off. Im not sure if it was the variety of potato or what. The consistency was just odd. Not that its a huge deal but the fries were just small pieces too. Still A+ to the bar for the rhubarb margarita.

Loved the vibe for our brunch here. Highly recommend the OG is a wonderful start for your day.

Made a reservation on opentable. Drove 30 minutes only to be told they were “at capacity” 3rd bad experience here. Will never come back.

Fabulous Manhattans, Super Steak Frites and delicious Scallops. Huge and tasty Ceasar salad. Enjoyed the pulled pork with mole sauce. Great Brussels Sprouts. Recommended for foodies and alcohol afficionados.

Great atmosphere and location. However, food is questionable. Ordered the scallops. They were under cooked and bed of grains lacked flavor. I will be back as I believe bad days are inevitable.

Stirnella has a fun atmosphere inside and out with unique dishes. Our favorite every time is the Brussels sprouts which are in the appetizer section of the menu. I had the pulled pork sandwich this time and wasn’t a fan of the bread but the filling was good.

Have had both dinners and Sunday brunch here. Kind service with extremely fresh ingredients.The burrata is especially good.

Ordered the burger medium rare. Came out well done. 15 minutes after everyone else in the parties meal. Waitress avoided communication the rest of the meal and charged gratuity. Also ordered the beet salad it was okay. Sprouts were a good appetizer. After I paid I went to Nite Owl and enjoyed a burger.

Really great experience. Food was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend the popcorn chicken for appetizer! Will be back.

Food was all excellent I just think there are opportunities to enhance the drink program here. Burrata comes with amazing moist bread, beet salad was outstanding, popcorn chicken was good, pork chop was fantastic. Nice place to switch it up at

Only had drinks at the bar. They were good tasting. Server was friendly and accommodating.

I went Saturday night with my aunt and uncle. The food was absolutely delicious, no complaints there. The reason I rated 3 stars was due to service. Our server Brynne was not attentive at all. We waited almost ten minutes just to order our drinks. Once we got them they stayed empty with no refills for the majority of the dining experience. The only time she actually brought our food was when she brought desert. She devoted her time to a table nearby and just stood there and talked to them instead of making sure we were doing ok. The only time she was quick to come back to the table was when we were ready to pay. I would totally understand if it was busy but she only had us and the other table. We were very excited to try Stirnella but this definitely put a damper in it.

Stirnella is our go to for brunch even though we live 30 mins away, if that tells you anything! Ambiance and atmosphere is fantastic, service is always friendly and welcoming (our favorite server is Hunterand the food is **chefs kiss**. We do come here for dinner every now and then and it’s great too, but brunch is our fav!

So far I have only been for brunch. Beautiful interior - when its warm out the front is wide open to fresh air. They have good mimosas and bloody marys! The food was good but not the highest quality.

The bright spots in this experience were, a friendly competent hostess, the brussels sprouts appetizer, and a tasty raspberry beer on tap. Everything else was mediocre.

My grandma and I went here for lunch and firstly, the venue is gorgeous!We were lucky to get a metered spot on the street for my grandma, otherwise, parking would be across the street, and a little scarce.I had the vegan hash and she had the fried chicken. The hash was basically fried potatos with sauce. The sauce was tasty. Next time, I would add on an egg or veggies on top.The hostess was very friendly and accommodating for my grandma. The waitress, not so much. We asked for a straw, which never came - I went to the bar and grabbed one myself. I also asked for ketchup 3x and finally got it towards the end of the meal.

What a way to start this new year!! Amazing place with good ambience and great food. I wanted to visit this place from a long time and finally got a chance today. They have a short menu but I guess what you eat is so delicious that you don’t need much options. I ordered Brussels sprouts and black stone burger. It was great. The meat in the burger was just perfect. My friend ordered popcorn chicken and fried chicken. That was good as well. The drinks were nice. In all a good place and will definitely visit again. Just one thing, I don’t know they were short staffed or not but the server were so hastily moving around. They were not even waiting to listen to the full order. Even when they are serving they just put the drinks on the table without saying anything. That I felt was bad there.

We had our first visit to Stirnella yesterday for brunch. It was fantastic. Bitterly cold outside, we found plenty of warmth here. Cozy ambiance. A quiet but lively setting. Much bigger inside than I expected. We were greeted with a cheerful smile and had a friendly waitress. The deviled eggs are absolutely something to rave about. I could probably eat a bakers dozen. The belly ache would be totally worth it! Crispy parm for texture, the sweetness of the gastrique, WOW! We both enjoyed our amazing meals. Food was piping hot. The breakfast potatoes can only be described as heavenly. Chewy crusty peasant bread was a lovely accent. We will be back and plan to bring everyone we know! Thanks Stirnella!

My first timer here. A cool atmosphere and good food. The drink menu variety is good enough but not great. The popcorn chicken with Bleu cheese was great. The french dip was fantastic as well. Ill be back for me!

The food is simply incredible. Every time we visit I’m blown away at the quality of the food and the friendly servers. My partner said he had a love affair with his meal if that tells you anything.

Fantastic food. One of the best farm to table restaurants I’ve been to. Pork shank was mouth watering. The food takes a little longer than normal, but everything is made to order and more than north the wait!

Seven of us ate here for dinner. Three ordered the french dip: most of it was bun with very little meat. One ordered the pork sandwich, and it was worse than the french dip. Two of us ordered the steak and frits. This is supposed to be high end beef, and it was no better than a store bought sirloin, and only about 4 ounces. The other two ordered the pasta, and it was fair at best. Drinks took forever to get. Will not go back and cannot recommend.

I had come down here to try out Early Bird but there was a 1.5 hour wait. This place, was right next door and serving brunch on Sunday and I was able to get a spot at the bar. Very good coffee and a phenomenal eggs Benedict. The spinach adds an interesting flavor and they do a Dijon hollandaise. The breakfast potatoes were fried in a breading, unique, and most excellent. They had quite a few things that looked interesting on the menu.

My husband and I were super excited to try their Wednesday burger deal but unfortunately we had a horrible experience. Our server Holly was less than welcoming and quite frankly just rude. Service was incredibly slow (took 15 minutes to just get the billand to top it off after checking the recipient after getting home we weren’t even charged for the burger deal but instead paid full price for both. We love to support local businesses but we will not be returning here.

Went here with a group of friends before a wedding and had a great time. The servers were attentive while still giving us space to talk. This restaurant manages to make classic dishes really shine above and beyond what youre used to and has a great selection of meals that are outside of the box if you are looking to try something new. Dont sleep on the deviled eggs!

Good food, this place has the potential to be great! We were able to get a table for 4 people during an early brunch even though it was crazy busy on Sunday and we did not have a reservation. The reservations online werent available until the evening.We were seated once they cleared our table. Our drinks arrived fairly quickly it just took a bit to get our order taken. We expected it to be a wait for our food however, it took exceptionally longer than one would expect even for a super busy brunch. The food was so good once we got it. Since we werent in a rush, we werent too bothered by the wait as we had some catching up to do. Great atmosphere! Will go back again!

Stirnella consistently under-promises and over-delivers. This last dinner was no exception. The attention to detail in their food is top notch, and there isnt a drop of pretentiousness or arrogance in the place. If the pork steak is on the menu dont think twice; just get it. Dont pass up the broccoli appetizer either. Service is always great, hat-tip to Abby.

We really liked the chicken liver paté and hush puppies for our appetizers. I got the vegan banh mi which was super flavorful. Someone else at my table got the pork steak over grits and they were really impressed with it. I wish there were different options for sides because I wasnt very excited to eat fries, but they were really good fries anyway.

Really delicious food, slow and low attention service. We had a reservation at 6:15 and our entire party of 6 arrived a by 6:20. It took 45 minutes to be greeted. Cocktails took another 20 and got warm on the bar. Appetizers (deviled eggsarrived after the entrees. Wine ordered with the entrees didnt come until entrees were finished and all the plates were stacked on the table. Then hit with an automatic 20% gray. Really disappointing.

Great food, ambience, and service (thank you Miguel!). We were traveling through Omaha, NE on a road trip and stopped here for dinner. Staff was friendly and gave a recommendation for parking. We ordered the chicken popcorn for our appetizer which was delicious and highly recommended. I ordered the burger and my partner ordered the steak and frites. Both were very tasty and well cooked. We had the gooey butter bar for dessert. It was really good, but so rich we weren’t able to finish it between the two of us. Overall a great experience and would definitely return if I’m ever in Omaha.

Food was great! Drinks were great! WORST SERVICE EVER! Server was lazy. Multiple mistakes. Server was uncaring. Im livid that a tip was added to my bill because I would have left NOTHING! Will definitely never go back solely because of the service and I was with a party of 8.

First time at Stirnella also first time trying vegan hash. The taste was amazing along with great service!

Loved the service and atmosphere. Our waitress Brynne was amazing. We had a 13 top party and she did an amazing job. Food was really good. The chicken sandwich and pork shank were phenomenal. Chicken sandwich was moist and delicious. Great flavor and had the perfect crunch. Pork shank was just the perfect amount salty goodness. Mashed potatoes not to mixed to where they where runny. The brussel kraut was an excellent addition. I highly recommend both items.

Great food and cocktails! Great service. Our table of 4 found the menu intriguing and all ordered something different and shared. All were great. Personal preference is a booth or low table. Lots of high top spots but this is my personal preference, not their fault. Will reserve a low top next time.

For me this was 4 🌟 though my dining companion claims its the best one shes ever had.Service was polite but not exceptionally friendly. We had a few issues. Quality check came in pretty late.I love their sister restaurant so Im hoping that this was just a one time fluke and if I returned it would be improved on.This is located in the Blackstone district so parking can be difficult. If you take a photo of your parking receipt from visitor lot on 38th and Farnham they will take $5 off as long as your meal was over $25 and its a same day ticket.

Came in for lunch and had the short rib melt. Really tasty, messy, but I dont mind. Freshest draft beer Ive had in a long time.

I had the Steak and Frities and holy cow was that steak perfect. Amazing seasoning and cooked to perfection. Service was great, atmosphere was very inviting.

This was our first visit. Part of a food walking tour. Hostess was awesome. She was great at giving suggestions on what to order from menu. This is a great place to take someone on a FIRST date or wedding anniversary dinner. The atmosphere is relax formal for great conversations. Had the meadowlark mule which is an acquired taste due to the after taste for me. The shrimp toast from the appetizer menu looks odd when you receive your plate but its very delicious.

Stopped in for lunch today with my little brother, it was worth the drive from Elkhorn. We had grilled oysters and chicken sandwiches. The oysters were good, but the chicken sandwich was so good, I think I ate the picture I took of it too!

It had a most enchanting evening at Stirnella. The food is exquisite as you can tell by my photos. I would highly recommend The octopus and the risotto entrees shown in these photos! The waitress was kind and caring. The art decor was quite interesting with a modern contemporary theme. The restaurant itself was spacious and uncluttered.

My partner and I have been here several times and this is now our favorite place in Omaha. We love sharing the smaller plates from their local-sourced menu, which changes each season. Our favorite dishes are the shrimp toast, spätzle with oxtail, and brussel sprouts. Delicious and strong cocktails, and lots of local beer options. Love that kids are still welcome here, and that they have happy hour every day, including the weekend from 2-6 PM. Service matches the food, its been wonderful every visit.

Great restaurant in Blackstone District. The burger is delicious with fries or salad. The atmosphere is casual upscale and has a very comfortable setting. Also the cocktails are very generous and reasonably priced.

I rarely write reviews but the service was so over the top last night that I felt compelled. I ordered a "rare" steak and frites. It arrived and was closer to medium rare and I would have certainly accepted that but the waitress said that the chef was working on another and to please enjoy this in the meantime. The perfect steak arrived within 5 minutes and they boxed the other meal up for me to take home which was comped. They then comped the dessert. The atmosphere is wonderful - theyve seemed to solve the problem of high ceilings and noise control, the staff is delightful, and the menu was really quite special. I wasnt crazy about either of the two specialty cocktails I tried but they received points for originality. And its within walking distance to my home in Blackstone, so it doesnt get much better than this.
