Sizable park featuring wooded & grassy areas, plus trails, horseshoe pits & volleyball courts.
Peaceful family walk through nature
Gorgeous park with many different facilities such as playgrounds and pavilions. The nature trail is mostly covered by a wooden walk way so there is a portion that is handicap accessible though not the entire thing. Clearly well maintained throughout.
Had Fun with my Granddaughter & Daughter, also got to Swing with my almost 4 Month old! It was a Beautiful Day!
walked in the woods on the nature trail then played on the Isabella Tenant Adaptive playground with my 2 year old twins.
Wonderful trails and green areas. Picnic areas are very comfortable.
I like it here, relaxing and has wooden trails to follow. Clean. Do not bring your dog though or you will have to bring it home and come back. They are not allowed at this park.
No dogs allowed is dumb it’s a park parks are for anything atleast last I checked whoever is in charge needs to change that rule
This park has some great hiking trails, and is very well maintained.
A very refreshing area. Wide, lots to do, and see while wondering around. Overall a very enjoyable park.
The park was clean (minus the periodic goose poop). People at the park were pleasant and seemedtobeenjoying themselves. My only complaint were the volume of bees near the shelters.... made it difficult to enjoy a picnic without worry about getting stung. We were near shelters 2 and 3.
Its such wonderful nature park... just wish the park would install cameras and that the police could patrol this park since all the car break ins . Other then that its a great place to be.
The Children Enjoyed The Park and Had a Nice experience. We give this Park 5$tar$🤩
There is so much to do & plenty of parking at Stiglmeier Park!If youre looking for the walking trails through the woods & birdwatching, make a right when you enter and drive all the way down. You can park near the playground and walk towards the woods. Youll see posted signs for the trails. Once inside the trails you can meander back and forth over raised walkways and dirt paths. There are quite a few paths that cross each other so make sure to remember where you started! Some people bring birdseed to entice the birds and wildlife. Youll find it along the rails of the walkway & the wildlife seem to love it! Some of the squirrels seem to become accustomed to this though and will follow you.Great for families with kids as they have a nice big playground near the trail entrance. There is also a bathroom facility down a ways near the baseball fields that was large and relatively clean.
My beautiful Granddaughter loved it! Very clean, and well kept. 5-Stars Cheektowaga.
Always a absolutely beautiful park.
It is a nice place to walk, bird watch, picnic or bring the kids. The park, playground and trails are all well taken care of.
So much to do here: Inclusive playground and toddler area, restrooms, picnic areas and beautiful nature trails. Family friendly and nice areas to do lots of activities.
Always love taking walks and enjoying the birds and nature here. Great pathways that are maintained very well! Perfect for bird watching and photographing, as the birds are super friendly & comfortable with humans from the constant bird feed! This and Reinstein are 2 great places Ive went to for along time 💙💯
Nice park, weve been coming here for years. My father used to play softball here, we would use the trails and there playgrounds. Now my kids use the playgrounds. Well maintained, good variety of things to do, all around nice park in an unassuming location.
This park is awesome beautiful walking trails all kinds of wildlife One in the best park for children of all ages
Great clean environment! The trails are a fantastic way to get out in nature and not have to worry about trekking through miles of mud
Great park, trails, play area for kids, bathrooms just no dogs unfortunately. Nice view of the water, birds, deer and other animals
Beautiful park with lots of recreational areas and paths along with picnic areas and a park for children. Very clean and well maintained!!!!
Buggy, marshy, but cool with all of the bridges throughout the forest. Bring bug spray for real or you will get bit up. Path was a bit confusing and I definitely would be lost if I hadn’t downloaded a map ahead of time.
A fabulous place to experience natureIf youre observant you can see many animals from birds to deer maybe a fox if your lucky. The birds are also amazing if youre lucky you might see a Bald Eagle. A fantastic walk and adventure
My 4 & 6 year old grandson and granddaughter love coming to the park and after playing on the swings and slides, taking a long walk through Any of several trails and looking for deer, squirrels and chipmunks.
This is a big park with trails! I love it here! This park is HUGE and has a playground that is huge. 2 playgrounds, one for the big kids and one for the young ones. I LOVE it here the downside is I think it is a little bit too big.
We had a blast with kids. At park and fishing and walking trails
A great place to walk around most of the time. I like to try to shoot pictures of some of the wildlife and such. Sometimes a little noisier so youre not always able to do that, but its still a great place
One of my favorite parks. The playground is expansive and great for kids. And if its not busy, great for an adult to pretend to be young. Great place to see local birds, squirrel and deer, even if theyre probably too friendly, amongst other wildlife, like the occasional beaver. Would recommend to anyone. Restrooms are limited in the off-season but porto potties are provided, for better or for worse.
There are many trails to run on here, Lots of softball diamonds, and a nice playground. There are shelters for picnics. This is a nicely maintained park.
Love hiking here. Stroller friendly with a good work out attached and a bunch of little trails to follow. Great for family photos if youre going for the outdoor feel.
Beautiful park. My buddy and I walk here for hours after the gym and its amazing. Be sure to explore, we got lost for 4 hours one day its so big and it was the most enjoyable walk I have ever had.
There is a nice boardwalk to walk on as well as other well maintained trails. We saw and heard a variety of birds as well as squirrels, and a raccoon. A gentleman on the boardwalk shared with us that we had just missed a couple deer. This is a great place to commune with nature.
Super easy trails attactched to a very large park with wide open fields for any number of activities but great for hiking the Cayuga trial runs a nice distance along what is Cayuga creek I assume
Beautiful board walk trails, and PLENTY of them to be had. Very fun hiking adventure.
Beautiful day. Trails were great for the most part. A little muddy but to be expected during a shaw.
Its a very nice park. Some of the elevated nature trails are in disrepair and their is a bit of litter here and their from the best humanity has to offer but otherwise its a great place.
Beautiful park. Lots of wild life all around. People all around very nice and said hi. Definitely a park to go and venture at.
Love it, love the nature and the environment. Great place to take family or friends for a walk or hike or even a picnic. There’s an area to play soccer baseball and basketball although hoops are not up. 10/10
Wonderful experience! Its highly recommended that you bring a friend - for personal safety and just to share the view with. The trails are lovely, being very twisty and turny, and covered in overgrowth to keep things shady. There are even boardwalks that stretch between patches of forest. Make sure you bring your own water though, as I couldnt seem to find any fountains. A bit difficult to get to via public transportation, so Id advise making a day of it if you dont have your own vehicle (or have someone who can pick you up after). There arent any restaurants but there are some vending machines located in some of the bigger fields for convenience. Awesome for walking, running or jogging. Its hard to get lost - just keep taking right turns to go in a full circle. Its about 3.5 miles then :)
Love this place, take the kids there all the time, great place for a variety of activities. They have nature trails, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, football fields, open areas, pavilions playground equipment, and signs everywhere stating “no dogs allowed” although you may have to watch out for Karens who believe that the park policy does not apply to them.
This is always a wonderful, fun, beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The children can play on the playground, or go for a nature walk on the build-around-the-trees-and- grounds boardwalk in any season. There are so many animals that come around: deer, chipmunks, squirrels, many birds, etc. I have brought all my visiting relatives here and they all loved it!
This is one of my favorite parks in WNY. They have ball parks, playgrounds, shelters, picnic benches, and a beautiful path going through the woods ❤ The animals are friendly and approachable, just still be cautious, they are wild. I love seeing the squirrels, chipmunks, cardinals, chicadees, woodpeckers, deer, and raccoons. If you can, I highly recommend spending some time in this wonderful park!!
I havent been to Stiglmeier Park in quite some time, but the sun was out on a cold day, and I decided to go for a walk on the trails. Upon entering the park I made a right and easily found the path meandering through the woods. As I walked it ended up being a wonderfully peaceful walk, rife with small animals on an easy to follow path. Would recommend for any age.
Wonderful park to visit. There are several well made walking paths through the woods, as well as a handicapped path. This park has a bit of everything. Lots of picnic shelters, play areas for children, horse shoe pits etc. There is a sledding hill as well. Very clean and family friendly.
What a beautiful and well kept park. This should be classified as a nature preserve. The trails are easy to medium difficulty.
Great park to go to. Whether its hiking, bringing the little ones to the kids playground or if you want to go on a run. There is nice baseball fields, tennis courts and basketball courts too. Theres so many thing to do. Highly recommend going. Dont forget to bring your cameras and water bottles. Does get hot having so much fun.
I think this is the best nature hiking trail in the suburbs of Buffalo. Its really beautiful with many types of animals. I enjoyed walking. The parking lot is enormous too! Overall, I loved it.
My family and I love this park. This is where I grew up as a kid. The playgrounds are great, and the trails with many wild life is always a fun experience. We always brought wild bird seed and peanuts with us on the walk.
