Southeast Asian fare, including pad Thai, curries & stir-fries, is served in convivial surrounds.
One of our local favorites. They have gluten free options.
Cant say how great of an experience it was. The staff was kind, informative and attentive! I had the red curry slow cooked pork and my wife had the volcano chicken dinner. Every single bite was delicious. It was my first time trying Thai Lao food ang I promise you I will be back again and again. 5 stars isnt enough
The food is always delicious and the service is always kind
Best pad Thai in southeastern Wisconsin. Curry to die for! Try the tofu with peanut sauce too!
I always have the volcano chicken and am never disappointed. Delicious.
Absolutely delicious!! Service was great, vibe was perfect, food was outstanding!!
I been to Thailand multiple times and this is the closest I have ever tasted it like it is there, it is delicious!
The first time I tried all what I ordered was delicious ! The padthay and the traditional lemon grass soup have spectacular taste. Second time I tried the home tradicional curry (chickenand the sea food red curry (just shrimp). That was good too and not so spicy (could be a little more). Good choice in downtown Racine.
Always great food, service and staff. Just had their gumbo and that was the first time Id been there in a few years. It was awesome. The iced coffee is to die for too!
3 of us went here for our 1st visit, at 7pm... on 1st Fridays! NO wait.... seated immediately and our server was Julie. Excellent recommendation from her for my entree, ordered 3 apps, all FANTASTIC! I FILL up quickly, but this was what I call "just right full".... the food was phenomenal and our server was awesome. Thank you Julie for a great time and awesome food....😊😊😊
Very lovely place with great foods. The sticky rice with mango pieces is my favorite. Very nice and not super sweet. Also the lemongrass super is super refreshing.
This is my #1 favorite restaurant by a long shot. I’ve never had bad food here and I’ve had almost everything on the menu. Outstanding customer service, everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly. Volcano chicken is my personal favorite, the crab rangoon is to die for!! And you can’t leave there without their iconic sticky rice desert. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.
I just got done eating there with my friend and I loved it. I had egg rolls, dumplings , green tea and soup. This was my 2nd time eating there. The first time I ate there was years ago when it first, first opened and ordered the green tea and nowhere else do they serve green tea like this and today the tea was just as awesome as my first time. VERY, VERY GOOD!!!
We have eaten here many times before. Very friendly and excellent service. Caaual atmosphere and felaxing, never rushed. The food is always good, my wife and I have tried most of the menu items and all were very good and ample portions. We would usually take home what we could not finish. Our friends had the Thai Gumbo and Hawaiian Shrimp. They both loved their selections. My wife loves their Volcano Chicken and I enjoyed Thai Hot Stir Fry with Beef.If your in downtown Racine and have a yen for good Thai food definitely stop in at Sticky Rice. You will enjoy the dinner and will want to come back.
BEST THAI FOOD EVER!! They’re dishes are absolutely delicious. We order Sticky Rice all the time, and it’s ALWAYS amazing. We love the Pad Thai, (all the noodle stir frys), and the curry dishes. We are so lucky to have this place in Racine. It is truly a gem. And the family that owns it is so nice.
Every time I order food from Sticky Rice Racine…it is always hot and fresh, made to order…service is excellent. It’s my go to for Asian food.
Food was so delicious. And the portions are big. Will be coming very often. Loved it, and best service staff.
Best Thai restaurant in the USA so far for us.we have tried and tried other Thai restaurants and none match this one.we had to many plates to list them all and they were all amazing. We loved it all.we will fly from California just to eat there again, soon!
Edited Edit: They removed my favorite drink: the hot version of the Thai green tea. The rest of the food is still fantastic.EDIT: They brought back my favorite drink: the hot version of the Thai green tea, 5 stars again. Best Thai food in the area. Volcano chicken is their best loved dish. Beware their spice system, which they measure in stars. The spiciness doesnt increase linearly but exponentially.
This place is outstanding. I recently took a trip to Racine and my friends had recommended Sticky Rice Thai. The staff, food, and service was very outstanding. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The pricing was very fair. If you ever visit downtown Racine, order Sticky Rice Thai. I highly recommend it!
Good food, decent ambience, waitress who took order was very kind. Vegetarians get a few decent options. If you want it spicy, you can make it to order that way. Would definitely not mind going here again in future
This place was very good loved the food especially the drink I had and the gumbo will definitely come back it was a little bit of a wait but understandable and totally worth it
So delicious! My go-to’s are Green Sea Curry and the House Curry. The Red Devil Curry is also very good. Pick your level according to who is cooking… if grandma is cooking, get a 1… she likes her heat a lot LOL. Otherwise a 2 is plenty enough heat for most palates. My only recommendation for this place is to try to get an online menu, order feature and prices. Otherwise, this place has amazing, authentic, home cooked food that slams every, single time.
Sorry to say 1st time there, but i will be back. Had the seafood stir fry A+. Curry next time. Very good, great service.
Talk about great eclectic food, Sticky Rice knows how to satisfy the Thai food craving.Always excellent food, always service with a smile. We love the Pad Thai and the Stir fry Beef with Thai Basil (3 hot). Our family has been monthly regulars for 6 years, and they do it right all the time.A good restaurant is consistent and is always happy to see their regulars while welcoming new customers. Sticky Rice offers an atmosphere that is authentic and soft on the heart. Here in Racine we love our traditional home made food, try something different and extremely special if you dare.Good food knows no borders and they will welcome you as they did us.
My family and I really enjoyed the food here. The service was very welcoming and warm. Its COVID world were living in so we took our food to go. But the restaurant itself is very spacious! The food was tasty and wed go back.
The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I had the Thai Basil stir fry with chicken and it was great. I will have to try another dish on my next visit.
I can’t say enough good things about Sticky Rice Thai. Their food is amazing, the service is great, and the location is wonderful- it’s so nice to be able to appreciate a revitalized downtown Racine after eating here. Their pad Thai is my favorite yet - just the right amount of heat but all delicious. I love coming here to eat!
This is the better of the two restaurants for Pad Thai, but service is declining. Word of advice: Don’t accept the sealed bag with your order without checking it first, or you’ll end up asking for no broccoli and get a marginally edible fried rice loaded with broccoli.
Excellent food but horrible packaging And hence I wont recommend this place. Basil stir fry with brown sauce was packaged in a white box which is used to package rice. All sauce dropped in the plastic bag and the dish was extremely dry. In pandemic situation, it is a big disappointment to come home with such food and spoil ones lunch.
On a scale of 0-3, 0 has absolutely no spice at all and a 1 is so miserably hot that is takes away all flavor from the food and it ended up in the trash - this from a person who typically loves spicy food. Such a frustrating scale. 😕 Presentation for takeout had a bit to be desired as well, but that’s likely still a work in progress......? Will be going elsewhere moving forward unfortunately.
Love the food, pleasant and attentive service, reasonable prices. New menus provide lots of pictures and explanation of the entrees offered, complete with sweetness and heat indicators.Simple decor, casual. Not all will appreciate the winter garden, but blooming begins in the spring and summer can be truly lush. One of our favorite downtown Racine spots!
Many patrons indicated this must be a great place to eat, and it was. The service was fast, courses were brought out in perfect timing. Friendly wait staff and affordable prices. About $40 for 2 drinks, an app and 2 very large entrees. The restaurant was simply decorated and clean.
Food was great. Service was awesome. Our water glasses were never empty. However they didn’t ask me the kind of spiciness I wanted and they over charge us. They did correct the price after we told them.
Have been there many times, and always happy with the food. The veggies are always fresh and cooked perfectly, and the sauce variety is great. The thing I crave is the iced Thai Milk Tea.
Yummy Thai food, good service, pleasant atmosphere. I had the Volcano Chicken, and it was very good. We also ordered an appetizer that provided a variety of delicious items to sample. I would absolutely come back here, and would likely order more appetizers!
BEST PLACE IN TOWN!!!! AMAZING staff and food; fast service. You can’t go wrong by ordering ANYTHING in their menu, everything is delicious. If you go there definitely get the moms egg rolls and the iced green tea!! Would recommend 10/10
The food is so delicious here. Ive come multiple times and the red curry is just amazing. The noodle peanut sauce is also a favorite. The service is also amazing and everyone is so nice and helpful.
Ive been there once. The food was delicious. The service was alright. It felt like they were just all new, but the place had been there for a year already. We did love the red curry and the spring rolls. This was years ago, not sure if it has changed.
Fantastic Thai food, and reasonably priced. I had the Red Devil curry (I think thats the name of it). It was so flavorful and well prepared. Im from NY State, but this is some of the best Thai cuisine Ive had in my life. Highly recommended!
LOVE this restaurant. Huge portions of really good Thai food made with fresh ingrediants. Fast service and very pleasant waitstaff. Love having the leftovers for lunch the next day.
Awesome Thai food! Id been craving Pad Thai for months and this was just like the real thing in Bangkok. And dont get me started on the mango sticky rice...incredible!Not much for ambience. But the food is great and the attention super friendly.
One of the best places to eat authentic Asian food in Racine. Service was excellent. Food was fresh, hot, tasty, flavorful, and portions were great. Didn’t wait long at all, they are polite and fast paced at what they do. Highly recommend to anyone who has never been here and hasn’t had REAL Asian food.
The food is really good here. The service is awesome. I have always enjoyed it very much. However, the last few times, I was not really impressed with the dinner. Either the chef changed, or that they have gotten careless, the food felt rushed. The spices were not mixed well. You could actually taste every spice in your mouth. ( or at least that is how it felt). I will go back again for sure, but gotta, admit, it was disappointing.
A Thai restaurant in downtown Racine Wisconsin just off Main Street within walking distance of Lake Michigan. Great food and friendly service. The Thai Ginger Soup is amazing as well as the Mango Chicken the vegetables are cooked but not overdone or soggy but still crisp and flavor full. The presentation is amazing. In nice weather you can take a walk along the lake when you are done.
The food is EXCELLENT, and the service was absolutely adequate. Most dishes are quite mild with the amount of spice used by default, but you can order them with more heat if you so desire. (I mean it gets VERY hot if you want it.The Thai tea is very very good and pairs great with spicier dishes.
The food was good, but they messed up the essential to my dish: the rice. It was far TOO sticky, which I did not know was a possibility prior. It was a super sticky ball that was not only difficult to eat (even with a fork), but had an odd texture. Im hoping this was just an issue with that batch of rice and is not a common occurrence. I would definitely give the place a try again as the person I was there with very much enjoyed their food.
I had dinner on Friday night. I had never had Thai food before. Wife talked me into it. We were seated right away. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Including the bathrooms. I really didnt know what I would like so I just ordered the meat lovers. I was very impressed. Combined with the veggies and sauce made a delicious meal. I would recommend this to someone looking for Thai food.
Their food has beautiful texture and each dish offers a unique medley of intense flavors. I suppose someone more qualified than me can vouch for authenticity. Certainly among the top 5 Thai restaurants Ive been to (and Ive been to a lot of them across the country).
Average Thai food. A lot of the menu is too amercanized. Theyve moved, thank God. The old place on Main was dirty and run down...not a place youd want serving your dinner. Hopefully the new place on 6th is in better shape.Anyway, if a Thai place doesnt offer sticky rice, or gives gooey microwaved sticky rice, its worth looking elsewhere. Some dishes fall into the cheap Chinese food trap...large chunks of onion for bulk in the dish. The curries had good flavor, but were thin. Its not bad. But there ate better options.
