Steve's Cafe in Helena

Great breakfast and service. We were visiting the area from Oklahoma. Well be back on our next visit.

Great food and prices. The service was great.

After a bad experience elsewhere, we left, hungry and needing food and stumbled across Steves Cafe. We were seated immediately and the service was great. It was very busy but food didnt take too long and it was delicious. We had the Florentine Benedict and Bacon and eggs. It was well cooked, delicious and great value. Would definitely visit there again!!

Great breakfast. If you’re in town a must try if you’re a breakfast guy like me. Lot of things on the menu.

If you come to Helena, you have to eat at Steve’s! I can’t really suggest anything, because everything I’ve had there has been very good. You can’t go wrong here.

OMG the huckleberry stuffed French toast. What a great little local spot. So happy we found this place on our trip through Helena. The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly.

Whats not to like? Nothing fancy, but the staff is friendly and efficient, the food above norm. I had the veggie omelet, and it was stuffed with fresh veggies. One of the best omelets I have had in a long time, and after I polished that off, I finished off my wifes pancakes. Great meal at a more than fair price.

We got in early morning Saturday. No wait thankfully. Our waiter was very kind and quick. The food was great. We had the garden omelet which was very fresh and perfectly cooked. As well as the corned beef which was tasty. Good staff and good food. Enough said.

Terrific staff and food. Dan was our waiter at the counter and was very busy time following 11:00 mass at St. Helena Cathedral. Although all were slammed, the staff was great, chipping in, working together and we could see the kitchen staff working very hard too. My veggie omelet was absolutely delicious and staff were upbeat and handled it all like pros. Steve, you have great staff and great food.

Nice place for brunch. Arrived on a Saturday at 10:00 am. Looks popular, it was busy. Waited 10 min for a table. I ordered the breakfast special. Some pork in a Verde sauce with chips, avocado and eggs. Price is reasonable. Pretty tasty and not too big. Good service and the staff is friendly and professional. Plenty of parking space. Easy to access. Definitely will be back.

Steve’s Cafe was awesome. The portions are huge. The service was great! I liked the coffee too.

Their Corn Beef Hash is second to none. In most their food they are second to none but especially the Corn Beef.

We didnt even get to eat. Left due to poor service. The server of our table (we were put way in the smallest cornerpassed us by several times and took 2 other tables orders and disappeared into the back for 10 minamd STILL didnt take our order knowing we were ready when she brought our coffee - 20 min later - paid $6 for bad coffee and left.

The food at this location was not as good as the other location in Helena. The breakfast sausage was refrigerator cold on the inside and other food items were only ok.

Delicious and the hash browns were great! Friendly service and comfortable seating.

From south Texas here on vacation, read amazing reviews here and had to try their French toast and it did not disappoint. Each plate is filled with food and tastes amazing! Highly recommend and definitely will visit more times before I go back to Texas.

Were in Helena for a dr appt in the morning, so of course we stop at Steves Cafe for the best meal and service in town! We were seated right away, all staff prepared. Tessa was our server. She came to our table quickly to check on beverages. We ordered one of the Benedict meal and small plate regular breakfast. There was quite a tasty variety of foods on the menu. Our food came quickly and hot! Tessa was outstanding! See you next time were in town!

A little bit of a wait to get in, but the hostess was pleasant and kept us informed. It was worth it. Fast service. Short wait for a generously portioned breakfast. Unique coffee cups. It was a great experience and the prices are phenomenal. Definitely will be back when we visit Helena again

Amazing breakfast. Everything about this place is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. The portions were huge. The food tasted great, and the bill was less than expected. Thank Steves!

Huckleberry French toast was unique and we enjoyed it, but didn’t quite get the amazing we hoped after reading the menu.A fine place to eat if stopping through, but probably wouldn’t be regulars.3 star - Average. Decent to visit once

Our server was so polite and seemed to enjoy her job .. the food was amazing .. best place for breakfast and lunch .. it is affordable and the atmosphere is enjoyable with your family and will dine there again when we are in Helena ..

Fantastic service! Best kid-friendly place we have ever been. The hostess set up he highchairs on big napkins for easy clean up, they had special small cups for the kids, brought out some of the kids food first so that they wouldnt get antsy and had both a toddler seat and changing table in the bathroom. The service was excellent and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was yummy and the portions were just right. An overall great experience! Thank you, singed parents of 13 month old twins and their 8 year old big sis!

Steves never disappoints! Their omelets are huge, the pumpkin pancakes are amazing, and great coffee.

This is one of the most delicious breakfast restaurants I have been too. The have a lot of gluten free options which were done amazingly.

Excellent breakfast! Had the short stack huckleberry pancakes. Dont get the full stack...the short is plenty enough food. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Will be back for sure.

Visiting Helena from out of town and a coworker took us to this breakfast spot. Lots of choices for breakfast, but everything is made from scratch. I went with the short stack pancakes with eggs and sausage links. The pancakes are as big as the plate but they are so delicious. The sausage links were huge, and tasty. The portions of food is excellent for the price. The waitress was very nice and did an excellent job of checking up on us and making sure our coffee cups were always topped off. Have this place saved so I can come back again the next time Im in Helena.

Best breakfast Ive had in a long time! Check out their menu online before you go... you wont regret it! Perfect amount of hollandaise sauce and cheapest benedict I think Ive ever had. Such a cute place, great selection of food, and wonderful staff :)

Excellent food. We had two littles with us so they put us off to the side. They put a paper under the high chair to make cleaning the floor esaier, which was a great idea. All of us enjoyed the food. Cant wait to come back. They had a infant seat in the bathroom which is great.

I was looking for a local Helena restaurant for breakfast before leaving Montana and happened upon Steves Cafe. I tried the shrimp omelette with hash browns and berry pancakes. It was a large serving, so i couldnt finish everything. I was not disappointed. Food was delicious. Service was good, staff were friendly, and prices not too high. Great coffee! I really enjoyed the authentic diner ambiance. I would definitely stop again for a good breakfast and try something else. I recommend eating here for breakfast.

Breakfast was delicious. Definitely try the huckleberry pancakes! Only complaints.... the hashbrowns were extra buttery. Next time we are going to request easy on the butter and it would have been nice to have good orange juice. This place can do better than box orange juice. We drink our coffee black so taste really matters and the coffee was great but the OJ not so much.

Had an awesome breakfast here while visiting Helena. I got the homemade Corned beef hash, which was a great choice. Service was friendly and fast, and their coffee was some of the best Ive had at a restaurant!

This place is one of the best breakfast places Ive been at; food is amazing, people working are very nice, and the dining area is very clean and nicely lit.Review: Man, I really, REALLY loved eating here. Food was very tasty, portions were big, and just the overall vibe was great. Servers were fantastic and the dining area was very well lit. We got a Cafe Mocha ( I think thats what it was called), and it really was a treat. I tried Italian Joes Special, Strawberry French Toast (Smaller Breakfasts), and also one of their daily specials (Turkey Avocado Omelet with Swiss Cheese and something else). Everything was top notch.Im literally getting hungry reviewing these pictures that I took, I think Im coming back there this weekend, its just that good. I havent tried their lunch options, but if they are as good as their breakfast, Im all in.Trust me, if youre in Meridian, you HAVE to stop in here... 5 stars EASY...
