Great place for a walk

Beautiful, but very noisy park.City authorities should do something about the chaos that is taking place here each weekend and dedicate a place for different groups of people - rockers in one corner, old people with their music and dances in a different one, Christians with their hymns in another.Mix all this in one place and you can imagine what kind of place it becomes.P.S. Add the kids with quadrocycles riding with high speed on all alleys.Good luck taking a walk in the park.

Good place for family walks! Very often here are organived different activities for children.

I am impressed with this park. Huge trees and interesting paths promise a pleasant walk. I give credit to the cafes that work there, their design carefully fits into the nature of the park. This is a great mastery. There are many places in the park where you can sit and relax. There are other interesting places to visit near the park. I also really liked the work with the busts of famous people, for example, the bust of Pushkin is small, unlike the busts of Moldovan figures. The beginning of gentle decolonization is wonderful.

Always clean, nice place to enjoy a walk during day but in the evening has an even better charm

Nice and comfy with a lot of local restaurants around. You can always find something to do or somewhere to relax there. Its a park after all so just sit, chill and enjoy the vibe.

Nice walk, autumn colors!

Its a park near the city center that isnt overly exciting. The attractions around it are more exciting and interesting. But its a good place to relax if you have time and there is sometimes live music which adds to the overall atmosphere. Plenty of seats are available and a good place to stroll around if you have nothing else to do.

Good shopping area ☺ and some historic sights too all in one area a plus for me...we can split and meet up often with hubby...one shop one sight another shop then another sight and so on without alot of back n fourth

There is a fountain in the middle. Walking is very culturally informative there as the busts( sculptures of head, shoulders and chestof many famous Romanian descent writers are displayed. A very cool experience!

A colorful and blooming park for your daily and evening promenades. Overall the park is well-maintained, but under-decorated and reparations are still required here and there.

A pleasant, beautiful and well groomed garden in the very heart of the city Chisinau, from where its easy to take in many directions public transports or walk through the old city of Chisinau and visit plenty of other places of interest!

Its lovely because its a my hometown, but for the fountains werent working and the kids corner is very old, so couple things definitely need improvement, but the trees and flowers are beautiful, the monuments could be kept a bit cleaner

Green, nice and safe park with alleys, public WC. Sometimes it hosts nice social gatherings with singers and dancers. It hosts an alley with poets busts. It has some nice, small coffee stands

I like it because its central, its park, its Stephen and, moreover, is The Great.Ive got fine dates and awful dates here, but it has nothing to do with the park itself.When hot outside, I like sitting and reading and maybe working on my laptop on a bench, its a nice place, I like it.

Must see! A lot of monuments witch provide info about history and moldovians culture. Take your time and explore it !

A nice place to walk here even if its evening. There are a lot of sockets to plug your laptop and stay for hours here to spend time. A lot of statues. Great park right in center of this city!

A beautiful place, any time of the year, you can find an empty bench, sit down. Theres a beautiful small fountain in the middle of the park. And of course theres the alley of national poets going across the park. Overall its a great park to just walk around.

Wonderful park in the heart of the city. Lots of benches to sit and people watch, plus playgrounds, coffee/snack stands, and monuments. It’s great to visit during the autumn months to see all the leaves changes color.

Very beautiful part of the city, statues everywhere remembering some historical figures. Green space amongst the hustle and bustle of the cities crazy traffic, its a nice break for some peace.

This park is situated at the centre of Chisinau. There is a sculpture of a hero of the soil, Stephan the Great at one corner of the park. In the middle of the park there is a large fountain. There are geometric walkways inside the park. Sculptures of many famous local heroes, poets and writers are scattered around in the park. Many ceremonial programs are held at the altar of the monument of Stephan the Great.

The park is always full with people, which isnt such a bad thing. There are countless of ice cream shops and they have some kind of bikes for rental (unfortunately I dont know the prices). The park even has a playground and a workout space. The park is near the cinema and has a lot of restaurants close to it. In the specific date this review was posted the park had a lot of freshly painted benches so only 20% of the benches were usable.

Very central and good looking park. Lots of place to eat and drink nearby.A pity the water fountain wasnt working in April month.Clean and friendly place for walk or meeting point.I liked Stefan the Great monument in front of the park.

A small range park in the heart of the city, suitable for a small break when in the city.

I went in this plaza to check it out and found it to be a simple place to take a seat and relax after walking all about the town. I saw an old guy opposite me falling asleep on a bench. I took a photo of him and laughingly showed it to friend of mine. He said, "Dont laugh. It will be you one day." And he was right; I like to just take a seat by myself and ponder the world. I will be this guy one day.
