On the outskirts of Holwerd village, this no-frills group lodge in a thatched farmhouse is 4 km from the ferry dock for Ameland Island and 27 km from Aqua Zoo Friesland.The 11 basic bedrooms, which sleep up to 30 people, come with simple wooden furnishings and shared bathrooms. The lodge has a functional lounge/dining room with a cozy bar, TV and Foosball table, and a kitchen. There's a surcharge for electricity, cleaning and household items.Amenities include a garden with picnic tables and a kids’ play area, and an adjacent farm cafeteria offering meals and BBQs. Babysitting, bike rentals and walking tours can be arranged for a fee.
