Awesome place with a lot of history! Would love to come back again, and very close to everything downtown! Beers are 40LE and at night you get a plate with some veggie appetiZers and cheese.

Haha this place gets two stars only for the fact that they serve beer in the first place. Worst service and attitude...not to mention watching two bartenders and servers argue and tell you to wait as they push one another

They only serve beer. Its usually crowded. They serve spicy cheese and lupinus for free. The setting is really good.

3 Canadian girls stopped by for a beer before getting some dinner in Cairo on a Sunday evening. Not a full bar- I think they may just sell Stella (37EGP for 500mland a couple of other beers, but a fun place to hang out for a few hours (a number of women and young people). It feels like a scene out of the 90s with the smoking indoors and dark lighting.

It has lost its special charm due to the manners of its workers. Greedy, sneaky and impolite!

Good place, cozy and small, its tight but the service is good, I recommend this place, one of the good ones.

One of the oldest most authentic bars in Cairo. You can feel the history embedded in the walls, the atmosphere, the waiters serving you. Even the clients. The place is so small and cozy you can letraly hear every conversation going around you. They welxome expats and egyptians but you must respect the culture. Most of the clients are old people living around the area and hipsters just want to enjoy cheap local drinks

Great local bar with a down to earth vibe. Full of regulars, backpackers and some interesting characters. Cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and leafy greens served for free alongside your beers. Small and crowded, tiny bathroom. Worth the visit!

it is a very nice and a cosy place. They always play classical Arabic music. I only do not like the "termes" it never was good.

Local old bar for cheap cold beer (Stella & Heineken only), crowded with old people most of the time. Does its purpose only, no further services or advantages. The bathroom is a tiny unisex cabinet, most people wouldnt fit in.Request your side cucumber, salted cheese or whatever they have at the time.

Cozy, small bar. Sometimes crowded (mostly older folks). Bathrooms should be avoided.

Definitely very "hole in the wall" but the beer was cold and cheap, so it was good for what it was
