Fantastic, authentic Portuguese restaurant. Great prices and the meals themselves are top drawer stuff. Look for the specials on the board as well. Be good to yourself and eat here!

Food is lovely. Service good.4 star as did not like drunk rowdy crowd sitting outside and close to the entrance. Unwelcome comments from drunk males.

It felt more like a Turkish restaurant disguised as Portuguese for some reason.Nonetheless I enjoyed my PG rated green tea and my prawn/baclau cakes.Prompt service and good vibes.Muito obrigado!

Wow..better than nandos . We have just had a whole chicken and 6 wings hot with the side of spicy rice (which was very very tastyand salad. Definitely will be returning. Thank u Stellas we had a very enjoyable meal

Great food in this little place. Food does take a long time, shame they dont answer the phone so you could order before you arrive. Maybe short staffed. Tried calling in my last 3 visits, i gave up in the end and went in person.

Great food but not so good if you want to make a phone order, no one seems to answer the phone. Maybe they go out a lot to find the chicken to kill and cook it :)

Food is excellent, but over two hours waiting for my meal I think is a bit too too much. Behind us was a couple that waited more than we do for two francesinhas. Seriously???? Something must be wrong with you guys, 2h30 minutos for this dish??? This is something normal not something that just happened once, every time I go there is the same issue. Not sure if Im going back

Came across this restaurant whilst looking for something different to the normal offerings on Ubereats and I am so very happy I found it! The food arrived hot and absolutely delicious! We took a chance and ordered extra food to try and struggled to decide on what to fill ourselves up with as it was all so great! I was particularly impressed with the vegan burger as it was the best and tasty vegan burger I have ever had! And my son was as impressed with the meat varieties...and he is not easily pleased! Yes, the delivery is longer than other restaurants but I think it is totally worth it for the fresh and high quality provided! Thank you!

Was in the area for a meeting and took a chance on this small Portuguese restaurant/cafe for something to eat.... Best decision of the day! Fantastic and extremely tasty lunch. Superb. Since as the moment we took a seat, a haze smoke smelling fry oil invaded the place. It was hard to see through that fog while our eyes became irritated.The exhaust system was not enough to disperse the smoke, and the worst, the front door was closed through.Beyond ruining our dinner, our clothes were stinking fat.Even after asking to the acountable person for solving the issue, no action was taken, as if that was normal, or worst, as if nothing was happening.Despite a delicious menu, the environment is not a nice place, unless you should prefer to take a sit outside.

I paid 40£ and the food was horrible, ribs were burned, cod fish soaked in olive oil, bolo do caco with garlic butter was horrible smelling bad and soaked in something like oil. Really bad experience, not gonna order here anymore.

Fabulous food and lovely staff. Was our first, but definitely not the last visit. Our food took about 25 minutes to arrive but that is a major plus as shows all food cooked fresh

Its nice place to go with friends and family restaurant, yes it is quality food and juicy and mouth watering, staff need eco friendly excellent customer service and communication also need cleaning hygienes very importantly, see you very soon and once again thank you allteams & master chef 👍🏾⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟

Very disappointed with the service, very nice food but always someone is missing, first time was rice second I didnt even get my order, got money back though, third yesterday salad was missing, too many mistakes when I complained the male chef was rude with me twice, not buying there again, many Portuguese restaurant to choose from.

The food this place makes is unbelievable!!!I was not particularly familiar with Portuguese cuisine before ordering from Stellas, and the flavours have absolutely blown my mind.Ive just had THE best jumbo prawns Ive ever had in my life (and Ive eaten A LOT of seafood in my life).The food tastes fresh, and is exploding with flavours.Cannot recommend this place enough!

We’ve ordered from this restaurant a few times over the past 10 months or so, ordering via just eat or uber eats. I can only remember one instance where the food arrived on time. Otherwise, it’s always late by at least 30 minutes, even though we can see on the tracker that the delivery driver is at the restaurant quite early on. There were a couple of times where the driver even cancelled because it was taking too long. Such a shame as the food is really great but really not worth the hassle every single time.

I will be back toOrder more food! This place is family run business. I love 100 percent home made food! I can tell as it taste really different and really nice! Only downside is take quite long for the food to be really but the price is very fair! So won’t complain, will tell my friends and family to try and support this business.

Update 10 Oct 2020.I provided a really positive review a few months ago. I was delighted with the food. I am knocking off a couple of stars now. Recently, the food has been inconsistent. Tonight the food that arrived was not as described with a couple of items missing. When I rang to complain, the man I spoke to was actually quite defensive. While he did offer money off the next order (thanks for the effortit was the general attitude. I want to be supportive to local businesses, particularly at this time, but as customers we do have a right to voice an opinion.I hope you can regain the ascendancy and offer honest-to-goodness food as before. I hope youll accept this as constructive criticism._________________________________________Honestly. It is not just about supporting local businesses, but Stellas around the corner is an innocuous little gem. I dont know if someone really is called Stella and she cooks, but I really really like her food. I suspect she enjoys cooking. I have the garlic prawns with crusty bread, or the steak with all the other bits. Hearty meals. Recently discovered the house burger. A teeny bit pricey, but I dont mind because whoever is making the food is doing it with love. Honestly, just try it. Saved us during lockdown. Message to Stella, please just keep doing the same. Dont try and get too fancy schmancy! Lovely food. Congrats!

We came to this restaurant last week. The food is amazing! We came today with my son that is Autistic. He is very quite when hes out in public. It wasnt busy and a really drunk man kept asking my son questions. We didnt mind afew questions but this man didnt shut up. We asked him politely to stop as our son has autism. He took a while to move of our table with prompting.Then this man kept staring at us and my son in a horrible way. The man came back to our table and refused to move trying to talk to my autistic son. I had to get the person working there to move this man of our table again.The man came back to our table again!The guy working there seemed nice and said, Hes alright. This drunk guy wasnt. He was really nasty to me and my partner.We ended up taking our food and going. £65 we spent. Not really sure why we had to be the ones to go. This man should have been told to go.The food was amazing. My son is still crying and not coping at all.The work guy apologised which was nice but the drunk guy should have been told to leave. It was like he was obsessed with my son.My son loves going to restaurants. This has had a big impact on him in the future going to any restaurants at all.

This place is a little gem! Lovely food, reasonably priced and on a nice day, sitting outside with a cold glass of wine with gentle music coming from inside, gives you a sense of being on holiday! To be 100% honest, the service has been slow but Eat Out to Help Out has caused the place to be very busy, but in any case, how nice is it to not be rushed out of a place so they can get more bums on seats? Makes a nice change. The only thing I would say to Stellas is just be careful in what order people are served as after our visit today, it appeared some people who arrived after us were served their food before us. 😊

Its the best restaurant I have ever been too and the 1/2 chicken with hot peri peri sauce is the best definitely coming again and the family loved it too

Fantastic, Authentic Portuguese food from a local family run independent business. We have eaten a lot of Portuguese cuisine over the years, moreso in Portugal, and we love fine dining. This is right up there with gorgeous cuisine. Definitely was a stunning treat as a delivery takeaway during COVID 19 Lockdown. We will be ordering more for sure. Pictures show grilled Octopus, Grilled Sardines, Clams in Garlic Butter sauce and Piri Piri Chicken. Highly recommend this local establishment in Whitton

Great food, great customer service, great overall experience.Following the (most recentreview below, I do not believe one word that person has written. Firstly, Of course the restaurant is going to be empty, we are in a Global Pandemic! Secondly, I’ve picked up food from that “dodgy-looking” side door and had a sneaky peak through to the kitchen, looked exceptionally clean to me and they were super busy! And thirdly, the staff has always complied to my family’s needs and allergies. They have never been rude in the slightest.I find it horrible to see such disregard of a small local family run restaurants reputation by cowards leaving low star reviews with no substance at all to back it up, disgusting!

Was working in the area, and on a lunch break. Was really lovely place to sit and relax for half hour or so. Food was delicious, good range as well! Would recommend to anyone passing by :)

The food at Stellas is amazing but I am disappointed with the service offered. Not only does it take hours for the food to get ready - more than 70-90 minutes and has even taken more than a couple of hours once but we have noticed several times that the staff or owners put the phone off the hook so we have had to drive all the way to order the food to notice that the phone has been kept off hook and then they take ages to prepare the food. The food being so tasty makes us go back but we are loosing interest now and am hoping they improve the service in response to this review.

Amazing family run Portuguese restaurant. Food is authentic and although it may take a little time to cook, its definitely worth the wait.Great place to bring my security teams after work for a delicious meal.

Delicious and fresh Portuguese food. This cafe was really unsuspecting, my expectations were completely surpassed. What I particularly liked was how knowledgeable and friendly the staff were. The tapas I ordered was really tasty, especially the pork belly.Id definitely visit again!

Lovely fresh cooked food with lovely staff.Been a few times and always just as good.No potatoes left so a whole meal was taken off the receipt!Big portions so one starter is plenty for two.

I went with my husband and the food was wonderful.I recommend the bitoque ( stake with chips rice and salad )Very tasty and the service was good .I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

To the owner of the Stella’s cafe! I was a customer at the moment Mr.Dino was and he didn’t swear or shouted to no one he ordered before me so I could see and heard everything clearly. So the Indian women behind the counter was very rude not only with him but to me as well. Was very busy as you saying but with no other customers in the restaurant and she didn’t explain was gonna take to long to have our order. And Im really sorry that you as owner spend time being sarcastic and pretending to be very clever and perfect when accepting bad reviews!!! when you should do the best to your business. 😉 All the best. I ordered 2 things from their menu online over the phone prior to getting to the shop. When I arrived the lady advised they do not make these burgers anymore and I had to choose either a lunchtime menu or wait a further 45 mins to order something else from the menu. Even choosing the burger and chips from the lunchtime menu it took them 30 mins to make!

food ordered at 7:20pm via uber eats saying that delivery time is 30 to 40 minutes. arrived at 9pm. tried to call them 8 times, no answer. had to go to restaurant myself to chase them up. gate was half closed, They were rude and laughing in my face saying that they never received my order. only one person speaks English and rest was chatting in their language while looking at me and laughing.ordered half a chicken, received just 4 chicken wings. food was delivered cold.Haloumi cheese was burned black.how do they even exist with such a bad service? will report further and review on all possible social media.

Have just received my order of 2 regular fish & chips.The size off the fishes was more of a small size.The fish was overcooked & crunchy. If Stellas does not improve i will stop going to them as this is the second time this has happened.We are regular customers & have seen the standards slipping.

Good food, ok price. I’ve been twice for quick bite and will go again. Chicken wrap really nice (bit messybut would def recommend. Keep up the great work. A drink included for £3.45 would be the cherry on the top!😉

Just had Piri Piri Ribs and chips from Stellas and it was great. The ribs were juicy, chunky and not at all fatty. The chips were cooked slightly longer than ordinary fish and chip shop chips, which meant they were properly cooked with a good flavour. I dont come this way for work very often but will stop here again as soon as I can. And Stella herself was a very nice, friendly lady. Excellent.

Great blend of British fish n chips with portuguese peri peri chicken, at a very nice price. I cant recommend it more!Personally Id recommend the peri peri ribs, however they do take a while to cook theyre worth it
