What a great find in Pekin, IL! Lovely furniture over 3 floors. We ended up with a very nice Amish made dining room set.

I really liked the building layout and the staff was very friendly. Natalie was super kind and helpful. I also appricated when she helped us with measuring. Overall they have a nice selection of furnature and Stegers will be on our list next time we are looking for furniture.

I can not give a honest review. I was attending an event for " Race for the Cure" in the parking lot. I did go inside because one person in our group had to use the restroom. I did see a really different couch, it was curved. I have not seen one like that before. I also saw a few different sectional ranging from small to very large. I did see a large section of mattresses. I saw stairs leading to another floor. Not sure if there was more up there or if it was just for staff.. I would like to go back and really look and try a few mattress out.

We just bought a reclining sectional with the help from April. Let me tell you, she was a huge help, knowledgeable, and made the buying experience fun and easy!

What a lovely family owned business Stegers is. Its so nice to shop locally. Natalie was very patient and kind while I pondered, and I am so excited to get my chair and ottoman.

Great selection, and the customer service is fantastic! Natalie made everything so easy. Today was delivery day and the movers were incredibly professional! It had been raining earlier this morning, and they were so careful to put down moving blankets on the floor. They treated it like their own home! We will definitely be going back, and we will recommend to everyone in the area!

We just purchased a complete living room set from Natalie. We are extremely happy with her friendliness, her professionalism, and her sales skills. It is apparent that she is there for the customer, not just for herself and the next sale. We made several visits to Stegers and felt very comfortable and very welcome each time no matter who we talked to. It’s a great store run by great people selling great products. That pretty much says it all!

We had family visiting in a few days and I needed to get a bedroom set up. Looked online and then called to make sure it was in stock and able to be delivered in time. I wanted nice but still economical and I wanted a good mattress but not too good (who wants the visitors to stay too long 😉). Steger’s made it happen. The visitors cancelled but the room looks great!

Went looking for furniture at multiple stores on a Saturday. Steger’s had the biggest selection and most of the items I wanted. April was attentive, but not overbearing in her help as we looked at couches and mattresses. I looked at a few other big box stores and did not have the same service nor could I find multiple pieces that I liked. I went back on Sunday to Steger’s and purchased not only what I had looked at previously, but also kitchen and bedroom furniture. Again April made time to help me think about how the furniture would work with my space and she never rushed me. I ended up getting one sectional from another store and my service purchasing that was terrible and I was not as thrilled about there fees and warranties. So I went back to Steger’s on Monday and bought another sectional and canceled my order at the other store. April was able to help not only me again, but also my sister purchase a couch. Loved the furniture, service and I can’t wait to get my furniture delivered. I would definitely recommend.

April was an amazing sales consultant! We worked with her in January to pick out living room furniture and just worked with her again this past weekend to complete the room with the last few pieces we needed. She was super helpful, showed us all our options and even moved pieces around the showroom to place next to other pieces we were debating. She wasn’t pushy and gave us time to make our decisions. We will definitely work with her again next time we need furniture.

A good furniture store. Their inventory in the showroom is pretty impressive, and they can order just about any color of any fabric for the furniture that you like. I would caution that it takes a while to get your furniture after you order it. My only complaint is that I paid half up front, and when it came time for delivery, they told me I had to pay the balance in person or by phone. That means that I had to drive clear back to Pekin to make the payment because making a payment over the phone is a highly unsecure way of transferring funds, and they have no e-commerce solution on their website. This needs to be solved. Other than that, the furniture is great, the sales people are very responsive and helpful, and I would recommend this furniture store to anyone, although you have to be prepared to go back to the store to pay the balance if you dont want to expose your financial information over a telecommunications network thats likely to be vulnerable.

I went to Stegers looking for a coffee table and end tables. Natalie was AMAZING and made this experience a great one. Cant wait to buy the rest of our living room furniture from her. THANK YOU

We went to 3 stores before ending up at Stegers and I wish we would have just started here.First off this is the ONLY store with furniture in stock! Every other store says 6 months to a year wait then wants to brush you off, be rude, and not even try to help.Natalie was our sales person and she was so personable and pleasant to be around! She listened to my budget and got me exactly what I wanted. I ended up getting a new couch that was delivered within a week and my chair and a 1/2 will be here next month. Im so happy and excited to get my new furniture!Natalie also worked some magic and got me a extra discount to help me out with my budget. She truly went above and beyond to help me.

My wife and I purchased a bedroom set there last fall, the pricing was fair and the sales people were really nice. We live close and prefer to shop there because of the proximity. We decided we needed a new accent chair and went there to try and find something since we had such good luck before. Unfortunately it seems after their remodeled they have increased the prices A LOT. We couldnt find one piece within our budget even on clearance. We will be thinking twice before we return here, sure the new showroom looks nice and all but at what cost?

After 30 years of buying furniture there, we recently had to make a warranty claim on furniture that we paid extra for on the best plan they had available. Well it was the most frustrating experience we had by a locally owned store. The standards of customer service have changed dramatically. Never ever had we been treated this way before. Really a shame that the younger family members running the store didn’t inherit the customer values of the family that has retired. I talked to some other former customers and they had same experience. They all now buy at their competition stores. Likewise we will follow suit. No going through this again with the price you pay you expect quality and CUSTOMER service when all goes wrong. Very unhappy, sad part they don’t care.

I have been shopping at Stegers for over 25 years. Whether Im buying off the floor or ordering my furniture, I know that sales associate Pat Hill will help me choose the perfect pieces. And Jenny, in the office, does a great job handling all questions. Stegers is my go-to furniture store.

My husband and I just purchased a new bed. It was the most money I’ve ever spent on one piece of furniture. Carol was our sales lady and I can’t give her a high enough rating. She insisted that we lay on all the mattresses that we were interested in for way longer than we would have expected that a store would allow, to make sure we were getting the right one for us.My rating at this point is purely on the customer service aspect as we will not receive our bed for 3 weeks. That part was a bit disappointing because we haven’t had a decent nights sleep in over a year and we are very anxious for that. I will post another rating with respect to the product when we receive it, but I didn’t want to wait to tell people that they should definitely go see Carol at Stegers if they are considering an investment into something that we hope is going to be a great improvement in our lives. She will take as long as you need to help you find what your looking for with absolutely NO pressure to make you hurry up and make a purchase without a great degree of certainty that you are buying the right product for you. Thank you Carol, I hope the bed brings us as much satisfaction as the person who sold it to us did.

Every time we go to Steigers, it is a wonderful experience. This time we worked with April VanDeVoorde. She gave us time to walk around and look over several pieces, then she gave us great color suggestions. She also found the perfect chair to go with the items we wanted. Their prices can not be beat. Love love love Steigers!

Great selection of lift chairs and Daniel was super patient with us while we literally tried every single one for fit, comfort, and features (some of them multiple times). Delivery was quick and Cliff and Tyler made sure the chairs worked properly before leaving. They offer a great warranty plan that we hope to not need but are grateful to have! Wed do 5 full stars if not for the kind of lame veteran discount (and 4.5 stars wasnt an option).

I highly recommend Stegers! I stopped by and spoke to Jenny about an issue my mother was having with the extended warranty plan company on a power lift chair bought there, and instead of the run-around I got EXCELLENT customer service. Thank you Jenny and Stegers, this is where buying from a locally owned business pays off!

Daniel provided 5 star service when we bought our 90 year old father a lift-chair for Father’s Day. He was appropriately attentive without being overbearing or pressuring us. He answered our questions and gave us time to consult without interrupting. I recommend you see Daniel when you visit Steger’s in Pekin. Fourth generation of a family business and going strong.

I am very disappointed in the customer service that I received from Stegers Furniture. I know many people who have purchased furniture from this store and have been pleased and I expected that I would be pleased as well. I found the chaise lounger back in October. There was the same piece on the showroom floor. However, when I received the piece in March, the ottoman I received is higher than the sofa. Totally unacceptable. Everyone at the store agreed with me. They said it was the way the company made the piece. But they were unable to offer an acceptable solution. Disappointed.

This was our first shopping trip to Stegers Furniture and it was a great experience. We ended up buying living room furniture, some which was in stock for quick delivery and a custom order for a love seat. Daniel was our sales person and was very thorough, answered any questions we had, and helped us choose our final pieces. We didnt feel rushed and even came back the following day to place our order. I would highly recommend Daniel and Stegers.

I did not make a purchase here so consider that in my score.Prices are in the middle range. Furniture looks really nice but mostly feels cheap. But if you want a step up from Wayfair for about the same price, this is the place.Sales staff was pleasant and non-aggressive.

My parents have been getting furniture from Steger’s ever since I can remember. Now that I am married and have my own home, this is the only place we want to get furniture as well. The sales team is helpful, educated, not pushy and so friendly. Give it a go!

We absolutely love Stegers! From the minute we walk in, we are greeted warmly, and feel at home. The furniture at Stegers is high quality, yet affordable. We bought our living room furniture and dining table/chairs recently, and the experience was amazing! Our sales associate (Aprilwas so helpful and knowledgeable. She helped us coordinate matching pieces, and really took her time with us. She was outstanding! Also, the delivery personnel are wonderful! So friendly and VERY good at what they do! I was amazed at their expertise! Stegers has, and always will be, our FIRST choice for furniture!

We were greeted when we entered the store and Diane Heinz directed us to what we were looking for and answered all our questions. We needed a new couch and ended up adding a recliner and a coffee table. I especially appreciated the fact that you give a list of places that would pick up our old furniture, that was a big help. The delivery date was spot on with our needs and appreciated the call the day before with a time window when the delivery men would arrive, and they arrived on the early end of the delivery window! They were also quick and courteous. We will definitely go to Steger’s again if need to buy new furniture.

Buying furniture for any of your rooms can be a bit overwhelming and worrisome. We hoped to find a place we felt would take care of us, and truly back their furniture. We found exactly that at Steger’s in Pekin! Our sales associate, Carrol, was great to work with and gave us the space to be able to make a decision on our own time. Not once did we feel pressured to do anything, which we loved! Delivery of our couch and chair was a breeze and they took very good care of it in the transporting process. We had one little issue with a couch button, so we called to ask what we should do. They quickly ordered in a new button, and sent their repair person, Joe, to come replace it. He was extremely nice and really cared about taking care of us. We could tell he wanted to make sure the couch would be great for many many years. We have had such a great experience with Steger’s and will be buying all our future furniture from them. If you’re not sure who to trust, you can absolutely trust that they will take care of you!

I just left Stegers and they do have a beautiful store with a big selection. The reason for the low rating is the customer service. I was in there at least a half hour and not one sales associate asked if I needed any help. Maybe its because I went in with shorts and a T-shirt on and didnt look like I had any money. Ive worked in sales my entire life. Remember to Never judge a book by its cover.

Very good quality furniture and a large selection. Bill is an awesome salesman and knows his stuff. This place is larger than it looks from the outside. Definitely cant go wrong with Stegers. Prices are fare and normally better than their competitors. Dont waist your time with the overpriced and lower quality chain store junk...unless you like paying for press wood they call real wood. Stegers seems to be much higher quality!

We just purchased a sofa and two chairs from Bill Doubet at Stegers Furniture. Bill was very helpful and made the whole process enjoyable. We are pleased with our new furniture, the prices were great and so was Bill! We cant wait for the new furniture to arrive at our home.

I was warmly welcomed and shown the items that fit the dimensions and functionality I desired. I was shown a variety of furniture that would fit my needs. The sales woman was willing to listen and show me the bedroom furniture I was looking for. She was also informative and willing to help with setting up delivery times. The store called before delivering the furniture and even came earlier than expected which was a nice surprise for us! The furniture looks great and we cant wait to use it.

We were wanting to buy a kitchen table and chairs from a specific supplier who custom makes each order. We went to Stegers to see if they carried that brand and they did. The sales staff were all very courteous and helpful and we were ultimately helped by just one person. She was knowledgeable of the product and took us through order assemble process efficiently and methodically. She said she would verify the order with her superior prior to placing the order as neither Stegers nor us wanted the merchandise to be delivered and not what we wanted. We really appreciated the double check. The new furniture arrived before we expected it and was delivered in a timely manner. The delivery personnel were very good, placed it where we wanted, asked if there was anything else and left. They presented themselves well and represented Stegers very well. We would recommend this store for your furniture needs and will go back when our next furniture purchase arises.

We received outstanding service from Stegers from the beginning of our shopping process to the very end at delivery! We loved working with Candy while we were searching for a new dining set.
