Steers in Kroonstad

Everytime you walk into this steers they neva have ice cream or milkshakes and when I enquired they tell me it is only served from 6am to 7.30pm so why do they close at 9pm

Placed an order with the staff and when we got there they had some excuse about how they had a big order assisting the customers there and they’ve had a shift change so they didn’t process the takeaway order we placed telephonically. I’m highly upset and we left without food.

2nd time my order is messed up and by the same person! This time around she deliberately took the receipt away from my son, only to pack an incomplete order!!! Why take away the receipt as it has your name and all my order details??? I think this is deliberate and I need that money refunded to me!

The food we ordered was delicious and the staff are friendly with a smile :-)

Has Good Service Cooks Quickly

Food was cold and terribly packed.. Also asked for no pickles and they still added them to every burger. We were the only people in the shop so I dont see how there could have been an error with our order.

Service was good when I paid for a take away order, but after paying the service went to zero, the cashier was busy counting coins while my order was standing there getting cold. Once I got the order the burger was already cold. And halfway to welkom I noticed that the bottle of coke they gave me was already opened so even though it was still full I didnt drink it because why was the seal broken?

Just bought a R35 packet of hot chips and it was raw still 🥺😵‍💫 no man steers 😡

Outstanding service, friendly staff. Food well prepared and presented. Highly recommend this Steers when travelling on this route

Food was okey, however the waiting time to prepare the food took longer than a restaurant... ;/

Stopped here on our way to Bloem and again on our way home. Had the same breakfast. Huge discrepancy in quality and value between Friday and Monday. Elderly waitress the only good thing.Kitchen staff definately not properly trained. Gross oily hashbrowns, friday extra bacon was 3 pieces, Monday only 1. Extra cheesegrillers Friday, 3, Monday only 1.

I have stopped here several times for milkshakes (so I cant comment on the food). The service ranged from average to good. The milkshakes were great. There are TVs inside usually on sport channels, so there is something to watch if you are waiting for a bus.

Very poor service, only one person at the till. Although there was only one person in front of me I stood for 20 minutes without being helped as the perwon at the till has to make the milkshakes too. Please dont support this place, as you can see from other bad reviews the owner just does not care 🙄

Have no operating hours on doors. Everyone is unclear when they open. Staff are not helpfull.

The waiters were not friendly but attentive and the service was adequate. The food was adequate but the chips and hashbrown was drenched in oil. I damped the hasbrown with four serviettes and there was still coming out.

The food was very nice but the food took forever to get to us and they got our order wrong!When we told the lady that took our order that its not how we wanted it some other lady jumped and and told me with a very stink attitude that it cost R16 for a small chips.The place are going to lose customers because of one unfriendly employee....that lady should be dealt with because her attitude smells bad and make the whole place very unpleasant!!!

Ordered and payed for the ridiculous thick milkshake which we did not get. The milkshake stood for about 10 minutes on the counter while we waited for the rest of our order. It was not even a milkshake but more like a flavored milk.

Do NOT order any toasted sandwiches. You will get cold toast with a slice of cheese that is not melted! No eggs available for anything to take away but if you sit down you can order eggs! A very bad experience.Staff not interested in helping customers. While travelling on the N1 rather do not fill up at this Ultra City if you are wanting something to eat at Steers.

Quick and friendly.

Waiters all busy at the back, had to ask if we could be served. Seated by a dirty tabled, used my babys wet wipes to clean the table. Another table was seated after us but assisted after us. We eventually got up & left as we got the picture that were not going to recieve any service. Will not stop there again.

Srandard Steers fare, no surprises.

Service terrible. Waiting over 30 minutes for food to arrive. Will not stop here again.

The waiter was very friendly, the coffee was great, the food came out very quickly and was tasty.Very good for a quick pit stop.

The food was excellent and our waiter so friendly!! Really enjoyed eating here!!
