Elevated option with a lively vibe serving an eclectic menu specializing in seafood & sandwiches.
Always excellent service and food.. No problem there!
Went in to get an app before an event at PPG Arena. Slow service and inattentive waiter. Solid pretzel though so at least two stars.
Loved the veggie curry with Jasmine rice, and Im not normally a Jasmine rice fan. The side of mushroom was good too. Prep time was acceptable and room service pleasant.
Have been here 5-6 times over the last 3 years and always get a great burger. Very busy bar scene and always packed before events at PPG. The menu is solid and probably underrated from other local hotel bar restaurants.
Great food !!
Great food, excellent service, and very nice place to wind down and relax after a day of traveling!
SLOW service. Bartenders look right past you. Even when I got someones attention, ordered a drink. I didnt get it. Twice. Youd think a bar by the arena would be use to busy nights. Staff properly or get better staffers.
nice spot before a Penguins game for dinner
Food is always tasty, service is generally slow
The Sunday night I visited the main restaurant was closed so I was seated in the bar, Crafted North, with the same menu. The rum-based cocktail with ginger I chose was well-balanced, distinctive and generous. I was hoping for a rib-eye or strip steak, but had to settle for filet mignon as the menu is geared more towards burgers and fries. The filet was topped with a crabcake and surrounded with potato puree and a root vegetable or two. The food, including the chowder I started with, was good and hearty. The service might have been a little overly attentive since I was the only patron in the restaurant for a good while. Ill have to go back and try the main restaurant next time.
Food was very good and the customer service awesome.
Waited almost an hour after ordering, then the manager came out and acted concerned and asked what we had ordered so she could check up on it. She was really trying to get our order because the lost it. Then they brought an appetizer that I would never order, to make up for our wait. I ordered a hamburger with Swiss cheese, medium, and received one that was rare and had american cheese. My wife ordered the Golden Coast Club without onion. Of course it had onion and only half had avocado. We couldnt afford to send it back after over and hour wait and a concert to see. The worst part was the "manager" treating us like we were stupid. We didnt penalize the waitress as she was hustling and the issue was not likely due to her. They should have been honest and asked if we wanted something while we wait. DUMB!
Excellent food I love going here when in town
Outside is much quieter and you can actually talk.
Excellent buffet and bar!
A low rating for this beautiful spot is not on my agenda.
Great place before and after Penquins games.
The atmosphere is nice. The menu and portions were very small. It left much to be desired.
Worst restaurant in Pittsburgh by far
It was nice place. Pricy for the food. Service was very good. Restaurant was very quiet when we arrived.
Staff was really friendly and their apps are great. We are twice even though we normally would go out to explore
Stopped after the Pens game this past Saturday (4/23and we were HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! It was not the full menu, service was marginal at best, took three selections of wine to find one in stock and might have had a better burger at MacDonalds.
Good food and well its a hotel bar so dont expect cheap drinks. Had a fun time bar was packed as we showed up after a Penguins game. Staff was excellent.
My friend and I came here for dinner before a Pens Game on a saturday around 4:30pm. We sat a hightop near the bar and notified the bartender we were sitting there and he told us 1 of 3 waitresses will be over soon. We waited for about 15minutes before one of them came over to take our drink order. We ordered a Vodka and Diet Coke/Pepsi and a Labatt Blue draft. Another 15 minutes went buy until we get our drinks, but we got a vodka sprite and a labatt blue light draft. We sucked it up and drank them. My draft beer tasted very dirty and had a metal taste (dirty beer lines i am guessing). We then get around to ordering, I got a cheesburger with NO ONION, cooked medium well, and my friend got chicken fingers with Ranch instead of the Honey Mustard as is says on the menu. 25-30 minutes later we get our food, My burger has onions on it and her chicken fingers came with mustard instead of ranch. My burger was cooked closer to rare and had alot of PINK/RED in it. Again, we sucked it up and ate the most we could. We then asked for check after eating, to only wait 35-45 minutes for her to take my card off the table and charge it. We spent more time here waiting on our wrong drink order and wrong food order. We were recommended this place by a few people in the city, and we will not be returning or recommending it to other people.
Great place for two star food at a five star price. For example, a standard size Grey Goose Martini cost $17.00. There are much better restaurants within walking distance, with very good food and drinks at a reasonable price.
Steak was just right
I ordered the "Pittsburgher" medium rare with a side of fries and a Vesper martini. The patty tasted like it was reheated from a preformed frozen mess, was well overcooked, and generally didnt taste good. Fries were outstanding. The bartender made a horrible, watered down (literallymartini and charged me $15 for it.Staff was friendly and overall service was average. Since the food/ drink was of such poor quality I wont be dining here again. I would NOT recommend this place after my experience.
