Station BXL in Brussels

Station BXL is our favourite gay pub in the gay street of Brussels. All the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The service is also fast and the prices are fair. The ambient is great for younger and older. No one feels out of place here. The music is diverse and fun. The owners are lovely people. Their Aperol spritz are the best in the whole city! One of my favourite bars on gay Street, super friendly staff, reasonable priced drinks... Bar is tastefully decorated and immaculately clean... and always good music on...

Nice place but a pity, and in this day and age backwards, that they have a minimum payment for cards at 10 euros. Another silly Belgian establishment not fully accepting electronic payments.

Lovely place and lovely bar service ever

Second time we come to this bar. The only reason we returned was because of our waiter Federico, the rest are extremely rude and not welcoming.The first time we were there any time we would ask for anything (not from Federicothe other staff would simply say no and just not nice. Federico on the other hand UNDERSTANDS what good service and kindness is.The second time we were with a group (6 people), and their music inside was loud, so we all had to speak a little louder for everyone to be able to hear. One of their waiters starts mocking our friend from behind her making hand gestures and facial expressions (like a toddlerbecause she’s being loud while talking, and then he says he can hear her more than the music… then have the decency to ask her kindly to lower her voice instead of being rude? We were not the only table being loud either, but because we were right next to the bar they focused on us. Then another time a waiter says “she’s not Adele, she can’t be so loud”… again we spoke a little hard because we were 6 (so everyone can heardue to the loud music, BUT that does not give them the right to make fun or be rude. What a shame, and I even told Federico we will not be returning, but we really enjoyed his attention/kindness.

Nice, but empty for a week day 😂

Standard gay bar, perhaps a bit bigger than usual. As many places in Brussels you need to spend more than 10 euros to be able to pay with a card (2019!). The barman just opened a tab for us and we could take the drinks outdoors, great gesture considering it was our first time there.

Superficial. Superfluous. Supercilious. If this place was anywhere except silly little Brussels, itd fold in 3 days. They really are that bad. But of course, in the capital of Europe, a gay bar gets to live on. And on. And on. And on. Despite the horrible quality of just about everything there. NOT recommended.

My pina colada had chunks of ice in and the bar staff refused to offer any help with my drink (that I had to chew!they said if I wanted a new one Id have to buy another.

Fantastic modern gay bar in the heart of Brussels. Super friendly staff and owners. Very popular early evening and weekends with great music and live DJ on weekends. Highly recommended.
