has rest rooms, bubbles, bbqs and shade.... ideal for a baby reveal

Great for family gatherings, facilities available.

The roses arent out atm but the gardens are still beautiful

A pleasant and seasonal garden which is nice for a short stroll. Theres a few BBQ and picnic opportunities, and its definitely worth visiting in Spring / Summer to see the rose garden at its best. Dogs are allowed on leash too.

Beautiful relaxing spot to wander around definitely worth checking out. Seems to be quieter than Queens Park so if you want a beautiful relaxing spot this could be it.

Not any Roses out as it is the wrong time of the year. Very neat gardens.

A great selection of roses but at this time of the year flowers are less and bushes starting to need pruning, so its not at its best.

Beautiful and relaxing rose garden with extensive selection of roses. Nice relaxing water fountain. Monthly bonsai club on first Saturday of every month at cottage. Really enjoyed my Saturday visit here.

The roses are in full bloom....shame not to have your pop up stall for Valentines Day this year. The gardens are so well tended too💕

Beautiful local garden with wonderful roses, great place to bring young families for a picnic or just a walk in the park. The roses are stunning, we visited in late summer and it was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you have time.

We had a wonderful family day in the park and the Red roses were amazing! Not to mention all the other colours of these beautiful blooms. The little ones played under the big shady trees while the older of us relaxed and caught up with family stories. lovely day had by all.

If you are into Roses then this is the place to go. So beautiful and well set out with paths all round and through the gardens. Thoroughly loved our visit and highly recommend

I visited about a week after the Carnival of Flowers had started. It was great to see the flower beds in full bloom. The park was well maintained everything was very well presented.

Lovely park in Toowoomba. Its great for a famiky catch up. Bbq and tables, some shaded area to lay out a blanjet and let the kids run wild on the play equipment or the fields.

Rose garden in Newtown is a place worth to visit. I went there few months ago and it was beautiful. Lots of variety of roses, definitely someone is looking after them . Not too sure if they are seasonal. Park have lots of parking,toilet and water fountains. If you are going to Toowoomba its must visit place.

Historic park with beautifully kept rose garden

Beautifully maintained and lovingly cared for by obvious enthusiasts and experts. The wide variety of roses and colours makes this place a must to visit when up in Toowoomba. It is free and is usually quiet except for weekends. There are anemenities close by and the area is surrounded by large parkland so is ideal for a picnic with plenty of large shady trees.

We went there to have a small walk and had our lunch. Nice calm garden, flowering even on winter

Beautiful gardens, great new sports and fitness facilities, the kids play ground is a hit too. Everything a family could want in one park. Well done TRC.

Yhe Newtown Historic Park is a beautiful park with a great display of Australian Heritage Roses.

Beautiful!! Lovely place to walk, picnic, play sport (basketball, cricket, croquetand also to run, childrens play area is lovely and toilets always clean.
