i just moved in next door so i decided to give this place a try. the food is so good !! it smells amazing right when u walk by. great coffee too. i will definitely be coming here more often :)

Good food, great people

The one star is for the friendly service, food and coffee get no stars. Drip coffee was weak and obviously old, not up to standard for the PNW. Bagels tasted like a warm squishy hamburger bun. Noticed on the way out the bagels were Sara Lee grocery store brand. A waste of $25 as both coffee and bagels were inedible. Dont waste your money here.

I have gone there since place opened. Food snd coffèe have always been great. The prices have gotten so high that i just cant justify paying $26.00 for a breakfast sandwhich and coffee frap. It will be my last resort place.

Every single time a 24 oz is only about half way full... and i always tip them about 5 to 10. And every time you order a meal something is forgotten on it whether its green peppers on your Philly etc. Im tired of it and will never come here again Im done.

The lady’s are always so nice and welcoming,this is for sure my favorite coffee place. And it’s definitely my daughters favorite place to go she’s always smiling and trying to talk to them!! And the coffee and food is always so good!

Friendly service and great food/coffee. I particularly enjoy their croissant breakfast sandwich. The speediness of service is great if you start work early. Especially if you order ahead. This makes it very convenient for the shipyard workers.

Traveling and found this place thru search engine. Tucked away in a corner of a quiet neighborhood. Nice people, good, quick and hearty food. Wished there was more of a seating area offered, but still will visit again.

Convenient location, decent food. The prices are outrageous. I spent over $6 for a 12oz decaf latte with 1/2 a pump of syrup. If you get a breakfast sandwich and a small latte, youre lucky if you leave without spending $20. Oh! And then dont forget to tip.

Used to love this place. Good sandwiches, decent coffee, but stadium pricing...$12 bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin? u can get 6 for the same price at BK right across the street 🤣🤣🤣

The sandwiches are really yummy. Coffee is good and the place is cute. Only a 4 star since there is no seating that is friendly for drinking coffee with a friend. I have heard it has changed slightly in the amount of seati g so I look forward to going back with a friend or my husband.

We odered two breakfast burritos and had them delivered. They were great. Fresh toppings and very plentiful. Great value. Ill be trying a sandwich or a pizza next time!

I ordered the Grilled Cuban. The sandwich was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly, accommodating, and fast. The price was a little high but definitely worth it!

Literally right in front of the State Street gate.My spiced chai latte came out at the perfect temperature where it was nice and hot but not too hot so you can drink it right away.The two ladies running the show were very friendly but very busy since they were swamped with orders at 10 am!My bacon breakfast burrito was cooked to perfection with a meaty stuffing which included crispy bacon and savory potatoes, eggs, onion etc. I love it when they panini grill the burrito for a crunchy tortilla on the outside, juicy and cooked on the inside.This place deserves a rating way higher than this!The only people complaining in the reviews were the impatient doordashers so I thought Id give it a try and was a good decision to do so. 5 STARS ALL DAY

Always hustling, it is almost necessary to order online as so many people from the shipyard scoot out here to get some to notch eats. I think at this point Ive had neat everything from their lunch menu and a couple things from the breakfast. It is all top notch. My favorite is the Cuban, or the Cali club. The weekly special is more like a bi-weekly special, but that just gives me more time to have it multiple times. This week was musubi. The survival I think should stay on the menu is the Chicken Caprese. I recommend checking out their Instagram or Facebook pages to see the special before ordering online as their site doesnt say what the special is. Especially if you want to add stuff to it, say avocado to a BLT but it turns out they are now doing a pancake, sausage, and egg, which makes it odd, but not non-edible.

The people there were awesome but when I found out the hours the only thing I thought was great for late night snacks

Always friendly and food is made to order. So if you ask for something that’s gonna take a few min be patient but it goes rather quickly. Food is awesome I literally go almost everyday. They always go out of there way to give me what I ask for. Customer service is through the roof. I highly recommend it.... I’ve never been disappointed.

The food was awesome!! I had the cheese steak and my husband had the cuban and they were both amazing!! Cant wait to come back for lunch one day soon!!

This is a Navy and Shipyard employee favorite place to eat, so be prepared for an extended wait if you happen to go in during one of their rushes. If youve eaten there before though, you know that the wait is worth it...

Went to get coffee and a muffin. 2 customers later and 20 mins added im still waiting for my coffee. I walk up and ask abt my coffee and ask they act like they never even helped me. Telling me my order on uber eats never showed up yet. Im like i paid in cash. They forgot my order that quick? There is hardly anyone in there !? Then they tried every excuse not to give me my money back

I am a doordash delivery driver and everything I have had to pickup an order I have been treated poorly and ignored and even had a employee on my way out make the comment that they hate doordash. I am a pleasant and patient person and understand that it gets busy and that the stress of everything going on has everyone on edge but I personally still try to be pleasant and many othe businesses have employees who are still quite pleasant. Now Im not sure if its because I deliver or because of health issues I am only able to wear a shield but I am complying with this mandate wether I agree with it or not but I truly do not understand why I was treated differently and why a customer who ordered food had to wait longer then 2 people who walked in after me and ordered there instead of online. This is their customer as much as mine when I take an order from their business to them and if its such a problem then they should no longer offer delivery through a third party and should hire their own drivers. I hope they find a better attitude towards delivery drivers as this is the only way some of us are able to support ourselves at the moment. Have a pleasent day.

My favorite thing to get us drip coffee with a splash of cream and the breakfast burrito. Hands down the best thing there. They serve white coffee which is awesome in my mind. They get you in a few nd out quickly. No real line that leaves you waiting forever.

Great food! My Philly Cheese Steak was stacked full of meat!! Nice employees too!

I came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and fast at pumping out peoples lunches. I ordered a Cobb salad and it turned out to be delicious and well put together. The portion was the right size for what they charge and to be honest, better than some of the other salads Ive had around town.

The ladies who work here are always very friendly and welcoming. The food also has me coming back almost daily.

This place is great. Most of the ladies are very sweet and can make a good cup of coffee and a badass sandwiches.Ive had to reduce the trips I make a week recently, as there is one employee who makes the atmosphere pretty negative. As long as she isnt making my coffee, or overcharging me, Im satisfied.November 2018 update: Still love most of the ladies working at this shop; lots of new faces though. What I dont care for are the price increases that have occurred several times this year. Their Americanos are great, but Starbucks is far cheaper. And $1 for an extra shot? Come on!

Awesome food!

Ordered 7 bacon burgers with my crew and no one got bacon!! $10 dollars for a plain cheeseburger.This place is terriable. Bldg 850A has the same thing for a lot less.

I like this little place and want them to succeed. They dont have any competition and they‘re next to the largest employer around!!! The problem: They consistantly mixed up breakfast and coffee orders EVERY SINGLE MORNING. They arent learning. At one point someone got their coffee before i did and they walked in 5 minutes after I. They need a system...or even keep one employee on one task so they could perfect it. I just dont have 15 minutes to wait in the morning for coffee. I hope this helps them and they figure it out!Ill check back in to see if they get better.

Tight space but friendly staff and quite busy. Caters to the ship yard workers, open 4am until 4pm on weekdays. Slightly expensive for food but good quality. They date their food bags for freshness, the owner is in there weekly, and they have specials all the time. The place always smells like great home cooking. Average is about $12 for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich.You can call your order in ahead of time, do Uber Eats, or spend about 7 mins waiting for your food in the shop. They usually have a special for the week, and over breakfast and lunch.Overall, the place has great tasting food, cute and friendly staff, and an intimate space. Its popular among day time ship yard workers and they offer quality food. Would recommend.

Great breakfast burritos!

Coolest coffee shop in town. Looking for a great local cafe. Located in the basement of an old brick building that looks like a castle! Originally built as officers quarters. I showed this property before it sold. The wallpaper in there was fantastic.

I think they were short on staff. Only one cashier and one food worker during lunch rush. Had to wait a while for my gyro, but it was so good and the two ladies were awesome. Ill give it another shot.

My first time! I sort of didnt know this place was right by my house, and Im so glad I found it, Id MUCH rather have a yummy sandwich here than down the street at Jimmy Johns! The quality is so much better!
