what a lovely place to walk and enjoy architecture and the gardens.Very good local food is available in the restaurants nearby. Especially the fish farm provides the ingredients for the dishes.

I visited Trebon in October of 2019, on a day trip originating from Ceske Budejovice. It was a pleasant walk from the train station to the city center. As I visited on a Sunday, the town was quiet, but Trebon is still a nice place to visit. Tour the brewery, if you like. The Town Square offers lunch, ice cream, parks with seating. A good quiet day, and I had plenty of photo opportunity

A lovely historical town with magnificent lakes and greenery & the countryside just minutes away cycling.. the historical core is preserved with lots to offer. Experienced an open market.. good food and outdoor activities

Small pleasant village with nice square, many restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and a free clean WC. Not too crowded with tourists and with a number of cyclists riding in. The hand built fish pond (think lakeis worth a look. Chateau Trebon was closed but lts perimeter was able to be viewed. It would be worth seeing. Our later visit to Cesky Krumlov unearthed information on the Swartzenberg family. Recommended for a half day stopover.

The building is pretty. There are several guided tours through the castle, our guided tour was in the native 👅 only, they did give us a paper with English text. The tour guide was a nice girl, see seemed rather nervous and stumbled a bit with her text (I presume because she kept saying "pardon" before continuing)
