My experience was very unpleasant. My kids and I are very new to Starbucks, our first experience at Hoover location was great they were very helpful. This location is very unprofessional I had my two young daughters in the car and one employee walks up to the window reads something and yells what the hell. They didnt offer my receipt, didnt say thank you for coming or anything. This experience really left a not so good perception of Starbucks for my kids and I.

Great customer service and the lady was super sweet. She also greeted us and told us bye. The drinks were amazing and everyone who goes to starbucks should definitely come here. 😋🤪
I ordered mango dragonfruit lemonade. It was SOOO pale and they barely put dragonfruit on it. It taste like plain lemonade. This is the first time i wasted my $6 on starbucks.
Drive thru was a little hard to figure out the first time but they were friendly and fast!
Went in to order a cup of coffee. I was instructed to go to the end of the counter to order. The barista was texting on the phone and wouldn’t look up. After awhile I left and got a cup of coffee at the gas station nearby. The service at the gas station was great.
Just buy from locally owned places. This was my first visit to Starbucks in over a year...I even deleted the app... after this visit...I remember why I should not support this company.
The Vestavia Starbucks is one of the best locations in the city. They have a great manager and the team is outstanding. This a fun location to meet friends over coffee.
The cashier was a sweet girl. She knew what she was doing and my drink was made to taste just like I wanted and the service was fast
I ordered a hot chocolate at 1131 am and by the time I picked it up round 1145 it was cold. Not lukewarm but cold. It was supposed to be ready by 1143 so I wasnt even behind much time picking up my drink. I had to go home and warm it up in the microwave. Plus I knew something was off when I picked up the cup and it didnt even have the hand warmer around it to prevent me from burning my hands. I assume they just slacked up and didnt give a darn nor tried to repair it. This is the 2nd time Ive had a bad experience at this location. Yall cost way to much to not properly do things the correct way. Wont be back anymore. Will take my funds elsewhere. Pathetic
First time at Starbucks and the service was fast and efficient and I enjoyed my drink and help from the cashier who helped me make a decision on a drink.
I enjoy this location on the week days but not on the weekends. Even though it says they open at 5:30 am on Saturday, they apparently don’t open until 6. They didn’t want to communicate that while multiple people were sitting in line confused. If they don’t open until 6, it needs to be fixed online so customers don’t get confused and staff can avoid frustrated customers.
We went through the drive thru. This is an obstacle course for sure because the road takes you under a garage and around the back. One will be blocking traffic to and from the garage in order to get to the place to order. The service was wonderful. Nice customer service just in a bad location.
This is my favorite Starbucks location, they make my drink right and consistent every single time! I go a little bit out of my way just to visit this location because I know it’ll be a good drink and not burnt, watered down, or have anything missing.
This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations but they struggle to update customers effectively. I had to sit in the drive thru with at least 5 cars in front of me and 7 cars behind me for 20 minutes. What took so long?? You had to drive up to the front window and find the sign that says they are closed on Sundays from Oct 4 to Nov 4. There was no sign on about it on the drive thru speaker menu. There were cars still pulling up to the drive thru when I left. Im leaving a post so others know of the change in hours of operations.
be prepared to sit in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes before placing your order because they no longer take mobile orders
I feel like this is the only location I’ve been to that decides to close down the lobby and send everyone through the drive through. It’s only a big deal when I order through the app expecting to just run in and grab my order but have to wait behind 15 cars because they don’t update their lobby hours on the app.
Fast service. Pleasant people. One bad experience with my frapp, it was watered down but that was only one time.
The woman who took our order was so sweet! If this Starbucks was closer to my home I’d definitely cone here more often! If you’re in the area, definitely give them a visit!
Best and only place for a 12.00 cup of coffee!! But hey, they write your name on the cup, what more do you need?
Whoever is currently working the drive through apparently likes to listen to himself talking instead of listening to the order. He got every order I placed wrong.I didn’t realize this until I arrived at my destination. I have attempted to call the location multiple times to resolve the issue- and no one will answer.We frequent Starbucks, and are very disappointed that this is the level if service we have been receiving recently

Just paid over $5 for a Caramel Macchiato. 15 minutes later Im at home to leisurely drink my coffee. No syrup, NONE, just milk and coffee. I can make that at home. So tired of expecting one thing and getting something else.
I enjoy my morning coffee from this store and I the crew members are nice and so attentive!
Been there multiple times, it isn’t too packed during the week and the staff is always on their top game. My orders are out within 5 minutes, and the smell of coffee is always the best thing when first walking in. :)
This is a good Starbucks. There is not a lot of inside dining but it is rarely very crowded.
I usually dont go to Starbucks regularly, but this one location is certainly an exception. A perfect is example is Teresa, who not only is uplifting and a great person to start the day with, she gave me an incredible modification for the Green Tea Matcha Latte. Im calling the Teresa Special, go ask for it and youll never drink that any differently again :)

Lakeshore Starbucks lost a regular customer today...lately everytime I go to the Lakeshore location the trash is always running over with occasional flies and the floor is always trashed. When I brought the issue to the managers attention her response was "Well, were short staffed." Well Lakeshore cleanliness and 1st impressions matter...you cant just make lattes all day and forget about everything else. Thank you Vestavia for your service, Ill be back! #🥇Vestavia
Everyone is great! They are all polite and nice! They listen to you if you have a special order & they get it correct! They don’t mind e planning anything on there menu to you either! Love this place not all Starbucks are like this one!!
I am a Starbucks partner, a little concerned about the previous partner who made a review for this store. First, a regular customer can not receive a partners discount just by asking for it. There are certain rules against that, you may use your partner discount for family members and if you think it might make the situation right. For example if a customer had a bad experience at another store you can make the moment right by giving them a free drink. Second, this partner admitted to using other partners discounts "just to get on other partners nerves" which is against starbucks policy. You arent allowed to give your partner number to friends and family, its actually a fireable offence.So, the partner working at the register is absolutely in the right for doing what she did. Who ever is the Manager at this store I strongly recommend you report this to the district manager, partners arent allowed to abuse their discount like this. Today I was there with my mom. One of the best customer service that I have ever received from all the Starbucks branch. Employees are very polite, kind, friendly, they know what they are doing. I wish I could remember the barista name ( guyvery friendly, sweet god bless him and bless all who work there . Please do not change any of the worker they are the best.
I love Starbucks, this is a great location, the Baristas are so nice. However, trying to get some work done, music way too loud. 📣Background music is fine, but this was some serious jammin! Some may like it?? 🤷
This is such a convenient location on hwy 31. Easy in and easy out. Friendly staff and nice place to go in and sit with a coffee and crossword if you have the time.
I waited 20 minutes for my mobile order that they knew nothing about...no one spoke to me the entire time. One would think someone qould have asked if I had been helped.
We went through the drive through and we ordered 1 venti Carmel macchiato and 1 venti cloud.We were charged correctly but was given the correct cloud but a small macchiato. We were in a hurry but tried to get someones attention but couldnt.The ticket on the coffee was correct but not what we ordered.Just disappointing after waiting in line for 10 minutes.
I love the Vestavia location for so many reasons. They remember their regulars, from drink orders to asking how you are doing, and can make recommendations on new products when youre unsure. They are also very helpful for those with lactose intolerance, which is the reason I return so often because Im not concerned about them mistakenly adding dairy to my items.
I absolutely love going to this Starbucks. I sit in there everyday after school, and its a great environment to chat with friends or do homework. The staff is lovely as well.
Went through the drive through to order my usual drink. When I got up to the window, I was telling the baristas about how I’ve never tried a PSL but was worried I wouldn’t like it. They made me one for free to try. SO SWEET of them!!
Fine Starbucks. Tried the blended protein drink. Highly recommend you dont get it. Not sure why Starbucks approved this (even the staff thinks it is terrible). Back to the drawing board

One single handicapped parking space away from SBUX with accessible curb. Usually quiet with okay outdoor seating. Drive-thru available. Pleasant staff.
Finally, a Starbucks that knows its menu AND its "secret" menu. I can order all my odd favorites here knowing my order will be filled properly and promptly. Also has Wi-Fi strong enough to cover my visits to the Moes next door.
The employees make this place one of the best Starbucks in bham. Great tables for studying and they have LOTS of outlets under the main table. Wonderful place to study.
Had been given a $15 gift certificate for a event that honored me so went in to get a late lunch. I saw several people behind the counter but only one girl on the register. I was not greeted in any way and not familiar with the menu, was taking several minutes to study it. Noone even offered to help me. As I was waiting on a cane and in obvious discomfort a young lady came in and looked impatient to be waited on. I thought she just needed a drink and told her to go ahead. Big mistake. Must have been a hard order as I continued to wait over three minutes and no one even tried to help me. There was another register next to the one the young lady was having a hard time using while holding two empty drinks cups in one hand and searching for this ladys order and she could not locate it. I was already very hot and tired and being handicapped needed to sit down. I gave up and walked out. As I was leaving the young lady said Maam you are next while she still was not through. First time she acknowledged my existence. I said nevermind I will just give my gift card to someone younger who would enjoy eating here. Not me and left.
1/8/15 @ 6:30am, I ordered a flat white through the drive through. I did not taste it when I received it as it was very hot. When I got to my job just down the street, I tasted it and immediately knew that it wasnt correct. I had also ordered a latte, and figured I had the drinks swapped. I looked at the other drink and could tell immediately that it was correct both from the label that was on it and the cinnamon on the inside rim. The Flat White drink that I was supposed to have was a latte at best. It tasted like nothing but frothed milk. There was NO taste of espresso- ONLY milk. I took the top off and it was clearly the color of a latte and not the flat white (I had one the day previous). This drink was made incorrectly or I was given the wrong drink. there was no label. I called the store and spoke to the person who answered the phone and mentioned that I thought I had been given the wrong drink. He asked what I had and stated that I had been given the correct drink. I tried to go through the details of what I was experiencing- the color, the taste, etc- he interrupted me and said "Well its a coffee drink with milk so it supposed to be creamy". I told him that I was familiar with a flat white and that I had one the day before and knew what it was supposed to look like and taste like. He contended that he made a flat white. I became irritated because I felt like he was arguing with me. I asked him isnt it possible you handed me the wrong drink? I know what this is supposed to be like" He answered with a NO. At this point we had been on for several minutes and at no point did he offer to remake the drink or refund the money. After a few more minutes of him explaining to me that its a COFFEE drink with milk, he stated "I mean, I can try and remake it"..very flippantly. Then said "I am new".At NO point did he offer to refund the money. His offer to remake came FAR too late in the conversation. At that point, I didnt feel comfortable going back to the store for ANY reason much less to have the same person make my drink.I ended up going to the SBUX down the street and getting the correct drink.
Baristas are way too loud with their non-work-related conversations, shouting at each other from only a couple feet away. Not sure if they just dont realize how loud their voices are, but theyre carrying on is especially annoying and disruptive. I dont believe Ill be coming to this Starbucks again just enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee or study.
