Staff rude, never take your order correctly always rushing..

The staff are nice and its a great place to get some coffee and clear your head.

Come in quite a lot as I work in the area, bit no longer. Evertime Ive been in theres food scraps and discarded sachets on the floor. Place seems dirty. Worst of all the bathroom is always quite disgusting and theres never any loo roll. Ive seen multiple people have to ask for roll, and I have too. Today a girl spilled her drink on the table as her hands were full, staff gave her blue roll to clean but didnt help her clean up the spill.

Quite sad. Other venues on the way to this cafe bursting with customers and with no available seating. However, Starbucks virtually empty, which is hardly surprising given gloomy and exhausted late 90s decor, tasteless beverages and lack of food choice. As this seems typical of Starbucks cafes, I can only assume that Starbucks has lost the will to survive.

Ordered via Uber eats and initially the order was a little wrong and Uber Eats were very unhelpful. But I called Starbucks and they were very helpful and accommodated by correcting our order. I’m not sure who I spoke to. The lady was very nice.

I visited this place yesterday. The toilet was in a disgusting condition. God knows when last the bathroom was cleaned or even deep cleaned. It was really really in a disgusting state. Would not use the bathroom here again.

Not happy with the experience in the store the lady who worked very rude, I am bit specific about cookies and like them colder and not room temperature. I know their have them until i spoken to the manager, the lady still being rude to me. I wont be returning back ever again, the manager/supervisor who was in charge this morning was lovely and show excellent customers service.

As usual quality of the food is better than some of other coffee shops.Although it is more expensive then Costa or Pret, I decided to go there just because it has sitting space.When I ordered I decided to seat in but the food came in take away packets and mug. The "employee" at the till did not bother to ask me. I assumed like other restaurants, unless I mentioned it to be "take away", it suppose to be seat in. The "employee" appireed to be new from his handling of the food.I had ordered 3/4 items, all of them were not ready on same time. So I had to go back and forth from my table to the counter few times.Ran by some millennial most of them hardly care about customers. Some of them working hard with a rude look in the eyes, some of them seem like hanging around and just waiting for the shift to be end. I was holding my calm and tried to made my order as simple as i could. People might get better service from the other coffee shop next to it.

They need to wipe the tables down more often. I was in there all day and none of the staff wiped down the tables. They only came to clear the empty cups and tissues off the table - that’s all.As well as that, some of the staff don’t give you what you ask for; if I request for soy milk, they give you whole milk…perhaps they are too lazy/tired? I’m not vegan but I can image how upset a vegan would be because of this.

Good service. Nice team on the saturday, kept the place clean but no toilets.

Speedy service, just let down by the less than glamorous exterior!

I had a bad experience about Starbucks in the past, today I was passing next to Starbucks with some friends they wanted an ice drink I walked inside with them zizou served us with a beautiful smile he recommended us a cold drink I had an ice peach green tea and honestly was super nice! Thank you Zizou 😍

Although there are random crazy people coming in, air conditioning is extremely cold in summer. I still find it better than other places.

Like its good and everything...but I dont get the hype.

The staff just sort of looks at you rather than guiding you through the process and telling u where to stand etc. Didnt call out when drink was ready either I had to go and look at my drink n guess that the one just lying on the counter was mine.

Oriane was a lovely barista! Kind and made my drink beautiful 10/10

This is the third time Ive been to this starbucks, Ive sat in three different spot in there and found the music is way too loud every time... I could not really hear what the person Im speaking to is saying majority of the time! 3 chances is enough Im taking my clients next door from now, if a meeting takes place in that area.

Nice Starbucks with friendly staff and great service!

The people are nice and has good drinks. The only put off for this place is that they allow beggars to come inside and ask for money (read asking again and again). This is legit begging inside Starbucks by a lady. When i asked the staff, they said they cannot do anything about it!!! Such a weird experience.

The stuff are rude and the coffe was awful very bad customer service I been twice there and same horrible experience never be back their again

Pretty sure were familiar with what Starbucks offers in terms of coffee, cakes, etc...So Ill focus on staff and the store.Good stuff 😄💡 Brilliant lighting, there are not any harsh bright white lights which is great atmosphere to work in.🔌 Plenty of plug sockets around for those of you with bad laptop/phone batteries.💬 Staff were very friendly and helpful.Could be improved 🤔❄️ The door is pretty close to a lot of the seats so it can get pretty chilly as people come and go.--------------------------------😋 TL;DR - brilliant lighting and a great atmosphere to get work done. Can get a bit chilly when its cold outside and people keep opening the door.

The vegan breakfast buns are always still chilled in the middle. Always have to ask to have them heated twice. Not an issue elsewhere.

This location needs more staff. Staff spending too much time packing Deliveroo/Uber eats orders and leaving an already blended drink in the blender for 6 mins while I was in line and could see it there, which she then proceeded to pour, leave on the counter and go back to packing before I finally had to ask her to hand it to me… was already dropping whipped cream, melted and warm ..

The staff are nice and friendly, and coffee is high-quality.WiFi is very fast. The atmosphere here is great for studying.

One of the best Starbucks I’ve been to in London! Always served with a smile and well made coffee;)

Service was quick and the seating was clean. You can never go wrong with a Starbucks Vanilla Frappuccino.

Lovely staff and good coffee! Also theres a lot of space if you want to sip your coffee in there.

Lovely Starbucks - clean and well laid out, really friendly staff and very efficient! I had a raspberry swirl bun and a new frappuccino on the menu - both very tasty!

I loved the caramel macchiato here. I especially want to praise about Aliya. She has the excellent customer service. She made my Sunday morning perfect.No doubt best Starbucks ever.

Staff is unprofessional. Didnt even looked at me when was asking question. Had an emergency due to health reasons and asked to use to the bathroom. Refused and again didnt even looked at me while speaking. Used to be my pop in place but after this never again.

Typical Starbucks, quite spacious. Super clean and following social distancing standards. Pumpkin Spice Latte is now available with vegan whipped cream - delicious!

Always made the wrong taste!! I told the staff my request for the drink, like put vanilla syrup but they didn’t put syrup. Also, last time I went there, and I said please use semi-skinned milk and then they use nut/soy milk, I can’t tell which one they use but it tastes weird!!! It happened for so many times they didn’t follow my request for the drink. When I received the drink, it was hot so I didn’t taste it on the store, always like I found it was a wrong taste after I arrived at school. One star, no more....

Came to this branch 5 mins before closing and ordered 2x caramel latte with blonde roast. Great customer service and guess what, blonde roast was available. Unlike other branches, they usually start cleaning 30mins before the store closes. Fantastic branch. Keep up the good work.Update, blonde roast not always available. Why bother advertise if you cant deliver.

Filthy, inside (half of the tables free, none without empty cups or dirtand outside (the area is basically a dump. No offense for the dumps). WiFi is also rubbish, timeout at downloading a few MB file.Stardumps

Theres nothing good or had about a Starbucks. The coffee is drinkable, the cost is nearly premium, but at least the taste and WiFi are consistent so you know what you are getting yourself into. Just wish they paid more tax

Seating can be limited during busy times, and the local area may sometimes be disruptive, but overall this is such a pleasant, homely and cosy Starbucks with some of the best baristas Ive ever met. Ive been to over 20 Starbucks around London both repeatedly and as one-offs, and this is my favourite.

This Starbucks is my favourite in town because of how friendly and competent is most of the staff! I want to give a big shout out to the best Ewa, which is my main reason to visit as often as possible this local! Friendly, professional, passionate about coffee and her job, she is the real definition of excellent customer service, always remembering my name/drink and lovely to talk to on a regular basis! Luca is also super friendly, hope they get the credit they deserve for it, cheers for having such a good team!

Nice staff and very popular- so much so that there was a lack a seating available. Some customers who were alone were taking up full tables which was a bit annoying but the drinks were really tasty & welcomed after a chilly walk from the tube!

I love this starbucks and it has been a lifesaver for me many times. For example the time I got out of A&E at 7am and had nowhere to go, or the time a Tinder date didnt know where to take me.. the Starbucks is a pretty usual Starbucks with plug sockets (scarcebut many tables. The window seats are great for when you want to people watch. The worst part is when you leave and the scent of stale coffee has impregnated your hair for the rest of day.

Good coffee place, really nice decor and atmosphere. They advertise drinks very attractively but you dont get what you see. For example, they advertise toffee latte in a tall narrow glass but when you order it they make u drink it out of a mug and looks nothing like the one in the picture.Other small little coffee shops round the corner do a better job. You get what you see. Im disappointed Starbucks.

Its a starburker :-just one toilet for all the people but in general have a good vibes

This review is not intended to be a personal attack but a reminder to the staff on how to improve the service provided,I just want to say to the young Oriental man working in this Whitechapel High Street branch.I have been coming to this branch for many years and have seen the staff come and go and never felt the Starbucks customer service to be anything but averagely acceptable but took service with a shrug of the shoulders and felt that at least there was someone there to serve me.You have dealt with me on several occasions and now I feel it necessary to write this review and would like to remind you that you are merely serving coffee, its not brain surgery. Your level of customer service is poor due to your self importance act, therefore I suggest you leave the chip on your shoulder at home and take a chill pill and try smiling at all the customers rather then the ones you feel deserve a smile and friendly service.Im sure your bosses would agree when I say that all Starbucks customers should receive a warm friendly welcome and good service.I hope this review assist you in becoming a better coffee server and hopefully a better human being.(please do visit the coffee shop further along Whitechapel next to the Whitechapel Art Gallery as an example on how to serve customers)
