Star Ocean in Kičevo

As a regular guest,very disappointed from the staff,we asked for salt and they told us they only had one in the restaurant and didn’t bother at all, mistook our drinks and we also waited half an hour to order.They got a group of guests and all the attention was on them and not on the other guests like us that are coming all the time not once a year. But other than that the food is great and delicious.

There is no 0 stars on Google, that’s why they get 1.Waited 34 minutes for the waiter. None of the waiters looked at us or came to our table. 2 people that arrived on a closer table 20mins after us, ordered and got their food.Maybe a yell, slam to the table or a broken glass would have gotten their attention.Hospitality: 0/10Customer Care: 0/10

Thought the food was great! Staff were polite and helpful as well. We got the hot n sour soup, sweet n sour spicy chicken, chicken wings, orange chicken, and egg fried rice. Chicken was saucy and crispy, the soup was great too - a little kick to it! Prices were affordable for Chinese especially considering it was cooked on order and not pre-made.

If I could, I would give this restaurant 10 stars! Atmosphere was great, very calming music and good waiters. Food arrived very quickly, loved the decorations. Food was absolutely delicious and reasonable prices 10/10 would recommend 🥰

The service shines, two servers here are just the epitome of excellent service. Ones name is Nikola the other I didnt catch. Some vegan options. Personally I could stuff myself with just the Broccoli Garlic rice, but if you need more theyve got an eggplant dish that hits the spot along with it.

Usually I dont like to give bad reviews, but I dont want a tourist not to have a good experience. Unfortunately, this was tYou can cook well for little money, but thats not the case. he worst Chinese we have ever eaten. The hygiene was also not good. However, the waiter was great, he cant help it. Unfortunately not recommended. Dry, old rice. The tea did not have a good taste. The soups were very thick and over-seasoned. The fish was not good. Even For little money you can cook well...The cutlery was not clean

Very inconsistent, sometimes the food is prepared nicely, other times it feels as though they give you leftovers. A shame they dont have any serious competition.

They brought to us our noodles thats we ordered with spoons only (no forks, no sticks), then we asked two glasses of water that they forget to bring, also no napkins on the table

Considering that I adore chinesse food, I visited this restourant in Skopje.Garden is very interesting and it is all in style of chinesse culture. Music is also orijental, relaxing.Food was tasty, with a little bit oil in it.Prices are okay for portion. Service is not good. They just doing it, without some relations to the guests. Since they are family restourant, that is thing which is missing - hospitality.Also, we were waoting for the smetka more than 15 minute, without any appologies.

Slow, tables dont get cleaned, water not given when asked for. From what I heard the waiters get treated horribly as well and have extremely bs rules. Service was overall very weak. Stick to the takeout places

Please avoid. The food was tasteless not even close to chinese food. The prawns wasnt cleaned properly and there was black liquid coming out from it. The waiter was rude, mixed up the orders and did not even apologize for the quality of the food but avoided us. If I could give a zero I would.

Please cancel all your tasks for the day when you sit in the restaurant as the service here is SUPER slow. We waited about an hour to get our food (which frankly, wasnt really good), and about 15 min for the bill.

Interesting interior, tasty food and reasonable prices. Staff is a bit slow and not that dedicated. Some of the menus are distroyed and this leaves indecent impression. Also, the staff gave accent on the parts of the meny that are not available for order. The location is right in the center of the city, but in a very quite part.

1 star ocean, had the meat spring rolls - awful! dry no spring no meat. Hot and sour soup, tepid and left me with a sour face. Try peking garden instead, unfortunately was closed today, try harder get more stars

Slow service, ordered dishes with meat were mostly with vegetables, meat was scarce. Atmosphere inside is good. There is not enough private space between the tables..

Extra China food with Macedonian hospitabiluty. We have several meals whit chicken and everything was perfect.Recomended😋

Nice quiet place for family or business launch or a dinner. Food is authentic and freshly cooked. Some time can be really crowded thats why I recommend you to call and reserve a table.

Its nowhere near authentic Chinese but most of it was edible. Strange use of cabbage in the dishes and way too much vinegar in everything. My "Chicken with Chinese greens" was 60% cabbage with maybe 5% chicken and a ton of vinegar. The only thing Chinese about the dish was the wood ear mushrooms but they soaked up so much vinegar that they no longer tasted like mushrooms. I understand it can be a good business move to modify your dishes to accommodate local tastes but this was way off. Still not the worst Chinese Ive ever had. Definitely wont be going back though.

The only reason for the 2 stars is the look of the atmosphere and the server. I ordered 5 items to go and it took more than 30 minutes to prepare. Nevertheless the noodles were cold. Paid over 1000 denars which for that quality was way too much! If you get hungry for Star Ocean go to the malls. Better price for the same food.

Compared to other asian restaurants this one is very decent. The atmosphere is okay, food is mostly decent/tasty portion size is also fitting

Tasty, tasty, tasty. I just adore everything they make. Except maybe hot food, too spicy for me. But its matter of personal taste.

Lowest quality meat from Kam supermarket. Sauce too fatty and made from Instant Noodles powders. To top it off we froze as heating was not on. Two stars as the green jasmine tea was very good and the service was quite quick. But generally do not eat here. The food is horrible.

Great chinese food. My favorite is the sweet and sour chicken as its crispy and full of flavour. A nice restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also deliver.

Its a very friendly Chinese restaurant and they speak Chinese and Serbian (I supposed).Food is great if you are even able to taste Northeastern Chinese spicy cruisine!Note: you must know how to order the Northeastern Chinese dishes because you wont find them in menu.

This is by far the best Chinese food restaurant. Would recommend 10/10.

Excellent food, good service and nice authentic atmosphere

This place was fantastic we got the pan-fried dumplings, noodles with meat and the Chinese style rakia. They are a wonderful family have Macedonian and half Chinese. We enjoyed practicing our Chinese and helping the kids learn some new Chinese words. It was a wonderful time and will be back.

Amazing food. PERIODTService always perfect, food always on point and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Always looking forward to this place with my friends, the fried vanilla ice cream is exceptionally good!

This place often has great food. But it is very dirty, with terrible service. To the owners:1. Wash your table cloths every day, and if you cant just dont put them on the table.2. Add more staff. One person cant make it. Also pay them a bit more so they dont leave. Every time theres someone new that barely knows any of the dishes.3. Require that they wear clean clothing in front of guests. And its your job to check this.4. Your menus are disgusting. Id rather use an online menu than touch the greasy pages.Ive been coming here a lot of times, but after COVID you have only gone downhill. (It wasnt perfect before, but now its just terrible.)

Service is phenomenal, shout out to Nikola, best server and most humble guy ever. Food was excellent. No tofu unfortunately, but some decent vegetarian options. Highly recommended.

how to eat currently in the restaurant because instead to heat the place the turned into freezer and also they have done a wrong order

Good food, not Chinese traditional food, but as close as your going to get in Skopje. The ingredients that are used in the disheshe are from local markets, so they are not traditional recipes. The servers were nice but we waited a bit long for the food. Nonetheless i would recommend it.

Great food, cooked wonderful, the staff is kind and lovely helping you to decide for your meal. I would give them 10 stars.

Ive never had a problem with my food before a year ago and Ive been coming here since i was a baby. But now, the food is usually given to me very cold, i always wait too long and my friend got food poisoning two times from you, which in one case she ended up at the hospital (the poisonings happened in the restaurant at Ramstore mall). So i recommend you pay more attention and love to the food again, like you did before you got to KlikniJadu

Awful awful experience. Giving a chance to this place couple of times but nope, they just go worse every time. Greasy food, literally u can feel the oil in your mouth. Overcooked rice, noodles are just spaghetti and on top of all extra charge for soya sauce. FFS! U wanna be a Chinese restaurant when u grow up, start by not charging 3 ml of Soya sauce!!

Sorry, but this was not a pleasant experience and the food has not much in common with the Chinese food Im used to.So first of all the dumplings, which had quite a good taste, were almost cold, but even worse was one of the main plates. It was a spicy pork dish with noodles, that covered in a way too strong in the pepper sauce, that dried out the tongue and didnt have a "Chinese" taste at all. I didnt finish this plate, which means a lot, cause normally I always finish my food (I dont like to waste).In conclusion, I cannot recommend this place if you are used to eat good Chinese food!

The food was not as good as expected, the noodles were too salty, the meat dumplings were not authentic, but two starts for the place as it looks cute like a Chinese park.

Ive eaten here several times over the years, and its usually been good, not great, but good.Today I went for lunch, and I was shocked to be served reheated food... that was not very well heated. It was, in fact, cold.I ordered rice with stir-fried vegetables. The owner suggested something similar but not the same. I accepted her idea. Several minutes later, I was presented with a plate of leftovers that was cold.My guess: They had something they needed to get rid of.The owner replied that the waiter watched the cook prepare the food himself. Like that justifies cold food. Seriously.Totally unacceptable.

Very centrally located this restaurant. Delicious authentic Chinese food served here. Beautiful authentic Chinese decoration. Very access to the city centre. Will surely be back again.

Nice place to see a different meals than europian one. But quite different from the Chinese restaurants located in the other countries. The atmosphere is friendly and relax. The prices are little bit expensive.

Definitely the place you MUST go. No mather if you like or not Chinese food. This place is traditional and modern in the same time. The food is amazing and well prepared. Everythime I am in a mood for good chiken, with vegetables I am there. A lot of new tastes and mixes I have tryed there. They are not expensive at all. They have small and big portions.

Came here with an expectation of decent Chinese cuisine but it really did underwhelm. Spaghetti and noodle dishes were bland and lacked any real flavour.There was also a lack of flexibility from the staff themselves and the prices werent the best either.Extremely disappointed.

To our surprise the ambiance of the restaurant was very beautiful with nice decor details but the food was pretty disappointing; ordered fried dumplings - they came with very plain bland salty soy sauce, strait from the bottle ( no ginger here, or spring onions We also ordered fried chicken wings, they where over fried. The refried rice was way too salty, too greasy... Waitress was ok but not welcoming or helpful with the menu....
