Nice chill pub in the heart of Mar Mkhayel.Its the rooftop of the building with Lockstock in the GF.Great place if youre looking to have a drink, even a bite but most importantly chat with friends, there are no dancing and it never gets overcrowded.The music is not that loud (could get a bit louder after midnight and if you are seated next to the speakers so that depends on your preferences)Really cool decor, you dont have much of a view except for the old buildings surrounding it.I dont think its vital to make a reservation but its better if you do.On average, like the rest of the pubs in that area, the drink costs around 70 to 80 000 on average.

We visited stairway on Friday night and were able to find an empty table when all mar michael pubs were really over crowded.The pub is nice a bit less crowded than others (not loud music from other pubsbut the music in there was kinda loud and not matching the place🤪 they played some BOOM club house tracks while people in there were sitting and chatting.The service was fine, waiters werent that attentive though..Drinks were good, we ordered gin basil.

My place to be for happy hour drinks on a Sunday afternoon, or late night outings with friends on weekends. I have tried a variety of their cocktails; they taste really good, they are strong and up to my expectations. Not to mention that the bartenders are very friendly and fun. I like this place for its location on the rooftop of an old building in Mar Mikhael, which gives it a trait of a hidden gem. Their music is also good, and its always a great experience whenever I spend time there.

The prices are very affordable. Happy hour on all menu items till 8. Nachos.was very nice. Goat cheese dip is super super wow. A must try

Last time we went there, I ordered a Jameson, I got a weird tasted whiskey thats not even colored; they got an other bottle and I got a normal Jameson, so that was very weird

Really nice rooftop in Mar Mkhayel. With a good music set, coupled with tasty colourful cocktails and drinks. when you visit you should definitely try their appetizers. Not to mention the great service they offer with an incredibly friendly staff. A must try.

Nice cozy rooftop in Mar mkhayel. It is a little bit small, nice for a drink or happy hour.

Stairway is a nice pub hidden in Mar Mikhayel street, the ambience is nice, the staff is very friendly and polite. The food was good, we had chicken strips, fries, and a sandwich. As for the drinks they were good as well. All in all it was an enjoyable experience.

A little hot during the early hours of the afternoon as the place is a rooftop. At night it is great. Small and cozy and ambience is amazing. Food and drinks are delicious.

Loved the live music, house band was great. I personally enjoy the chill vibe this place gives off, i rated this 2 stars meerly due to lack of service. No one checked to see if we needed to order, and drinks took over 15 minutes from ordering to reach our table. I ordered a beer....

Nice place, good for small gatherings in a chill environment. Lovely decor and nicely priced, overall. The drinks were below average while the food was actually good (surprisingly). Relaxed music most of the time and a good place to chill and chat with a few friends. The parking situation is terrible in the area, however.

Going up the stairs to get inside, gives you the feeling of getting into somebodys apartment. The terrace in on a first floor level but as if its the courtyard of the surrounding buildings. Youll enjoy the funny view of the neighbors laundry hanging on balconies ;). Music is soft & commercial, staff very welcoming and drinks are very good :D
