Food and drink were lovely and overall great ambience. However, my party of 3 was sat at a table for 2, despite booking and there being tables for 4 available, meaning our food, drinks, menus, etc all very cramped, making our dining experience a little uncomfortable. Walk in couples were able to sit at the table of 4, so this decision felt a little bit short sighted. Also, we ordered our chips with parmesan and truffle oil (an extra offered by the waiterbut they came as standard. A shame considering the food was great, however just a few setbacks.

A neighbourhood wine bar that is absolutely perfect! Oozing charm and atmosphere it is cosy and inviting with a gorgeous fire for those cooler months. With a comprehensive drinks menu of carefully selected wine, beer and an impressive line up of gin along with everything else, there is definitely something for everyone (and non-alcoholic options too). The service is always exceptional and the staff are not only super friendly but very knowledgeable with their wines too if you need a recommendation. Its always a pleasure.

Attentive service and very interesting range of European wines! Even let you taste done before buying. Food selection is a bit limited but that isnt really the focus of going there...

This has been a regular haunt for many years. Great team with an incredible wine knowledge, Wednesday Bollinger nights, an enviable gin menu and a welcoming team.

With a decent wine list and yummy food, this is one of our favourite bars in Auckland. Ben and the team are fantastic. This is great place to simply drop in for a couple of drinks or to get comfy and stay the evening...

Great little spot to sit with a good wine, beer or spirit and great company. Gets pretty noisy inside when its busy but there are heaters and blankets if youre outside and its chilly

Great wine bar with a must try cheese platter. We enjoyed the Sunday kind of relaxed atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. Also they have a fantastic beer selection. GARAGE PROJECT is just one highlight.

Great wine list and cocktails but dissapointed they were still using plastic straws. Hopefully just using up old stock.

The chairs are comfy and it has an old school feel. You can also enjoy watching the various tinder dates going on.

Good variety of wines, the dry reisling is excellent. Prices are ok. The wine shop ajoining does excellent events, wine testing etc.

Fantastic little boutique bar with an excellent selection of wines. Also have a wonderful off license next door.

Simon and his team are awesome. My local haunt living a few doors away very easy to frequent. Great promotion with the Bridgeway for a platter and wine with Stafford Bar and the tickets and desert at the Bridgeway.

To be honest I think this place is great.It would be 4 star at least if it was not for one blond waitress who ackted just stupid.She run after me and my friends when we were leaving shouting "did you settle the bill?". Additionaly, she was a bit aggresive in behaviour and did not even appologize.To make thing clear me did ask for the bill and even left a nice tip for the stuff who served us as the blond waitress forgot about our order.The rest of the stuff managed to fill the gap.Afterwards, we felt a bit like thiefs with everyone looking at us. Thats unpleasent to to say the least.So, if you are going there, do not get served by the blond. The rest of the stuff is great!

Would definitely go back. Lovely and cozy on a winters night. Great food, confident and efficient service, and they have an awesome drinks selection - not surprising given the adjoining bottle shop. Overall, excellent!

Very disappointed with the experience. Service very slow. There was six of us and we ordered everything off the menu. None of it came out together. We sat staring at four cheese croquette balls trying to decide who was going to have one. The next item was 30 minutes later, and thats how the service continued for the rest of the evening. It made us all very uncomfortable trying to decide who was going to have dibs on the next plate, but at least we had 30 minutes to think about it.This was a far cry from the expereince we had a couple of years ago, where there was plenty of food which came out in a timely manner and all together. On a postive we were out with lovely company.
