Beautiful space. A green oasis in the city. Strong variety of trees, plants and flowers in many different colours from around the world. Fascinating birds and fish. Self service coffee. Several places to sit both outside and inside.

Very nice place, you can go to the palmhouse and observe exotic birds species flying around you and it is for free, but you need your covid certificate.

Very interesting exhibition about trees in the city. The gardens are beautiful including some funny birds.

Nice and cosy Tropical garden, good for a quick getaway and sight seeing, nice variety of plants and the ponds are really filled with lots of different kinds offish.Good place to bring kids for some fascination, and for the love birds, some little romantic moments.

Beautiful and nice to lunch break

I liked this small garden. It is a lovely place with a wonderful Markt for vegetables you can buy for your garden or fridge. The park is very small though. Cute flowers and pretty trees. Unfortunately the orangerie was closed due to corona. But a nice 5 to 8 minute walk

Beautiful and relaxing place

Beautiful place, very much beloved since we first discovered it in year 2004. We are coming over and over again. In any time of the year it looks beautiful. There are 2 tropical houses with birds, fish and turtles in one of them. You can buy coffee, snacks and drinks in dispenser (bring coins with you). There is nice area to sit and have a coffee break. Outside it is also nice, especially in spring. Love this place!

Love the place, its free and completely accessible by wheelchair

This is a very nice place for a walk with family. Here you Zurich city is growing their plants for further use in the city. In the same areál you can find botanical garden with amazing variation of plans. On the first looks you wont enter as it looks like private property, but you can get in easily. Also you will find sittings and lawns to chill out. Nice area in urban part of city.

Grün am Bau was a very interesting and informative exhibition. The gardens are a pleasure.

Stadtgärtnerei (city’s gardenshas a nice greenhouse and changing exhibitions. It’s free. They sell herbs :-). I must come back to find the bird house:-).If you’re here also visit the nearby cemetery for a tranquil moment.

What a surprise! Lovely small garden in the city, the green house with the palm trees and crazy birds is fascinating.

Cool place to go and watch some plants and trees and even some animals (birds and fish). Entry is free. We were there for roughly an hour.There are many people on weekends. There is a room before the entrance with vending machines and tables and chairs where you can also eat your own food.

Great place - lots of birds flying around in the Palmenhausen. Worth a visit for an hour or so. Entry free!

Nice place to spend 1-2 hours. Went with a 7-y-o. The palm house is relatively small but nice with both plants and some birds. There is also a small indoor "pond" with big fish. Place to sit indoors with vending machines (hot/cold beverages and snacks at very reasonable pricesor you can bring own snacks.

Beautiful and peaceful place; in the glasshouses with magnificent plants are also birds ! 🐦 and there are turtles 🐢 outside in the water...And there is Free Entrance !

Great and friendly place. Sells plants in spring (tomatoes, herbs etcand the Tropical House is very nice place to enjoy, especially with little kids on rainy days. They love to explore the space and discover all the plant and exotic birds, fishes.

Nice! It has an indoor pond with huge fish and some cute turtles. It has tropical houses where you see more animals and birds than in the whole Zurich zoo.
