Great event location, efficient and friendly service.

Comfortable outdoor seating (where I could enjoy the Irish music being played by two buskersand great coffee. I tried a flamkuchen (with baconfor the first time and it was delicious. I had a small one, which was more than enough for lunch. The waiters were attentive and the food came quickly, even though it was quite busy. I also found it reasonably priced for the quality of the food.

I like going there on the weekends, great place to be. I enjoy the food and the vibe there. Not your typical place in the weekend, the music alone will have me going for more drinks.

Very nice restaurant with big terrace. Food was delicious and fresh. We had drinks, appetizers, shrimp with fries and weed burger. It was busy and we had to wait for some time for the food, but staff was friendly and service good. Very nice location in the city center.

During our holiday in the Netherlands we visited Blij in the city of Zwolle. We chose this restaurant because of his location. The restaurant is located in the city center of Zwolle. The building is an old manor house with a very big terrace. When we visited Blij the weather was good and many people were eating and drinking outside.I can advise you to reserve a table when you want to eat here. This was because when we came we needed to eat inside because the terrace was already fully booked. The menu was not very special but good. They have a lot of beers and cocktails on the menu. As an appetizer I took the duck and my wife the triple croquettes. These were not special. As a main dish I took the schnitzel and my wife the satay. Like the appetizer, these were not special.I gave the restaurant 4 stars because the location is good and the dishes are good but not special. But the price quality ratio is good.

Nice outdoor seating in the square of downtown Zwolle. We had drinks and appetizers here. I love the pink gin tonic. You cant beat the bitter ballin! The birds can be a nuisance. Friendly wait staff.

Food was great and the waiter for helpful translating the menu.

Friendly staff, nice outdoor terrace right in the middle of the city.On chilly days the heaters in the terrace make just right to sit outdoors

We had a dinner here. The food was very good, the service was friendly an the atmosphere was perfect. You can definitely expect us there again.

Food was great but service was REALLY slow, even though they werent even busy. Our drinks arrived after our meal was served!

The location, interior and menu are promising. I had some good eggs and decent coffee. Took three waitresses ten minutes to find a knife and a fork. Had to wait for paying again. A lot of staff doing not so much and no real attention for customers.

Great views, friendly services, good prices. Free parking. Enjoyed our lunch and coffee.

Wonderful restaurant with tasty food & good service not too expensive , Zwolle is a beautiful city

Had a few minutes to spare and decided to spend them here. Good (not amazingselection of drinks, personally had the nachos which had a good portion size for 2 to 4 people. Also some of the other guests ordered bread and were quite intimidated by pigeons who slowly took over their table. Was amusing to see and after they left staff handled it well. Al in all recommend for drinks.

Stadscafe BLIJ was cooperative when I contacted them through email. They reserved and arranged a table, and made sure my party of 10 was more than comfortable from 12 to over 16 oclock.The staff was kind, the lunch dishes GREAT

Great place to have a drink in the middle of the city centre.Lunch/diner is great as well, just a little on the expensive side for a poor student but its worth the money tho!

Great place to have a drink or eat! Really nice staff who are lovely and really want to give you the best time! Only thing that I didnt really like was the music being extremely loud so it was a bit difficult to have a conversation 😅

Cozy place in the middle of the city! Great service and great food. I would recommend this to anybody for their great hospitality and beverages. Are you in the city and want a drink? This is the place. Or do you want something to eat? This is the place!

Drinks are good, but kinda pricey.

Fine location for parties and diner, but it comes with surprise, additional fees (like extra fees to use the bathroom whilst you already paid for the ticket).Cannot recommend, there are plenty of other restaurants, pubs and clubs in Zwolle that offer the same quality of service, without the myriad of surcharges.

Waited 55 minutes before being served...

Great food, amazing taste and a lot of things to choose from. Little bit higher priced but most of the time worth the money!

Service was quite slow. It was fairly busy but other people did get served before we did. Hawaiian tosti was delicious.

Fast service and nice atmosphere!

I waited far too long for the Irish coffee. It was good but not really worth the waiting. I waited 15 minutes to place my order and then another 15 minutes for them to prepare the coffee.

Slow Service, had to stand up from our chairs because we were 2 minutes early....They didnt have the beers that were Show in card.All in all pretty low experience. Can not recommend

In my opinion this is the best place to sit in Zwolle. The atmosphere is really great, seats are nice and the service is friendly. We are the hamburger and the meatball, both were made with care. Personally not a fan of the sauce. The fries were one of the best fries Ive had so tops on that! Would definitely recommend this to others that visiting Zwolle.

Nice place to eat and drink. Great view on the church and the main square. Seat outside when sun comes... enjoy :)

Huge and beautyful bilding in centre toen Zwolle. Nice bier and food! Coffee and cakes r also served! You May need reservation on lunch and diner time on fridays and saturdays

One of the best places we ate in Holland. Great atmosphere, nice people, very good food, tasting of alcohol and more. Must go in a vacation.
