Went for lunch with a friend. Waitress was lovely and food was excellent especially given the very reasonable price. Soup was reheated by the lovely waitress but that was a minor issue. Enjoyed it 👍

Always good food, well cooked and service spot on.

Great pub to go see football matches or to go out. Loads of snooker tabels, bug food selection, nice and friendly staff.

Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of TVs for sport. Snooker tables. Food is nice.

Had a brilliant night for my sisters wedding, the staff were great especially the manager Darren, went above and beyond to make the family feel welcome, he was amazing with my grandad too, very respectful even if he did roll with the others and make me do a speech, great food and just a wonderful atmosphere perfect for celebrating such a beautiful occasion

Cant thank the Stadium venue and staff enough for my daughter and now son-in-laws wedding reception. Darren the manager went above and beyond by becoming the impromptu Master of Ceremonies. The staff were helpful and always had a smile. Once again a MASSIVE thank you one and all at Stadium Leisure for an absolutely awesome night.

Went to a wedding reception here. 2 staff were really rude one of them being the manager. Very poor selection of drinks at the bar. The pumps for the beer clearly needed changing as the beer and cider smelt like rotten egg and they didnt do anything about it, meaning they didnt do anything about the pumps being so dirty. My drink was changed twice but then I had to go to the other bar twice in a different room for a decent drink which was an inconvenience. Toilets were disgusting! The buffet was way too basic and wasnt very nice, defo wasnt enough to feed everyone. Nicest thing about it was the chips. Way over priced as well. I get everything has gone up anyway but those prices were just ridiculous.

We went for my grandsons 21st birthday,quick service, lovely staff, food was nice with plenty of it, only problem came when paying the bill.

I have not been in to Stadium for some time, primarily it is a large snooker hall, which is separated from the bars and the restaurant. I wanted to look at the function room for an up and coming event we have,Surprised just doesnt cover it, the place had changed massively. They have put in a huge investment in alterations, I almost didnt recognise the place.The manager showed us the function room, (which we have hired), and new layout of lounges and bars, it is excellent. There is a small car park at the front of the building, and separate street parking at the side. Wheelchair friendly, with easy access to all rooms.We then met a young lady called Nisha,Nisha explained just what was available, catering, the amount of time we could have the room, availability for decoration etc, nothing seemed too much trouble.As an added bonus it was reduced price steak night in the Steak House Restaurant which has been added, so we stayed for dinner.We will definitely be back.Steak night is every Thursday incidentally.

Only had a chip cob, but the chips were very nice and obviously home made.

Had an excellent evening at Motown and Northern soul night, my only negative thought was the prices at the bar, very expensive for a.local night out, but in saying that staff were lovely and a great night was had by all x

Went last night for a meal and was disappointed. Firstly was told there wasnt any brandy, was told by the manager that they couldnt get it from their suppliers. When asked if they could get some from the Willow which is owned by the same people that they hadnt got any and they werent allowed to fetch it if they had. Asked why they didnt get any from a supermarket and put the receipt through but again told they werent allowed to do that. Also my husband ordered a starter which never came when we asked where it was the manager told us sorry it wasnt put through. Also I am ceoliac and was told couldnt have rice flour or gram flour. Check your details yes I can.On the whole was dissatisfied with the whole thing gone really down hill. In the days of Corrine customer service came first, thats how long we have been members

Prices are alright but needs to reflect the food. Food needs improving, ordered cheeseburger but could barely eat it my plate was still full when I left. Daughter’s steak had hair on it, they changed it straight away. So customer service was good

Absolutely loved it , my food was delicious I had braising steak , creamed potatoes roasts Yorkshire pud and veg ,would definitely recommend to family and friends. Staff was helpful and polite.

I do like this place. I have started coming here often for lunch, and I must say the food is lovely, always appears to be cooked from fresh. When I last went in, I ordered fish and chips, which were delicious. Staff are warm and friendly too.

The service was slow we go often and it doesnt get any faster. The food is decent. But the waiting is very annoying especially if you have young kids they get bored.They are aware and have been accomodating for children with sensory issues my daughter was upset by the smell in one of the rooms the carvery was being done in and main room was fully booked and they moved us to the lounge which was better as didnt smell of food and sauces she was able to wait better and then enjoy her meal without having to worry

Its the first time Ive been to The Stadium for many many years. And I found it a very nice place indeed. We had a private party in one of the rooms and it was a good experience. The staff were very obliging very helpful, the food was excellent and I could really recommend it as a good place to kick back and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere The Stadium delivers.

It’s a great place to go for meet ups with family or friends. You can get delicious food and drinks that they make. The staff are also very nice. 5 stars! I would definitely come again.

I like the new decor at the steak House. We all had something different to eat and we all enjoyed the food. We were served by Linda who has recently started there, she is very friendly and helpful, keep up the hard work.

Great venue with plenty of different bars and rooms for events etc. Had the opportunity to photograph a wedding reception there recently and everyone had a fantastic night with plenty of good food, top sounds and friendly staff.

Went here for my birthday meal (14.8.21and the staff were so welcoming and so friendly! The place has just been done up too and looks beautiful!! The restaurant manager (forgot her name, really sorry!was so kind and even made me a special off the menu cocktail and got it so perfect! (Needs to be added to the menu, honestlythe other wait-staff were brilliant too! The food was absolutely brilliant, so much to choose from and at such a great price! Overall, brilliant service and great atmosphere!! Would definitely recommend, Thank you all so much! :)

Came here during COVID19 and you can be safe knowing that staff are wearing PPE, hand sanatiser is available as you walk in, one way entry and exit system. I was initially weary about coming here as I previously saw a review stating there were no PPE for staff and I am a high risk myself so it did put me off a little, however, as mentioned staff were wearing PPE, which put me a ease.Onto the food, Ive never been here before and came with my friend, we both ordered the Garlic Chicken and you have the choice of Chips or other options but I cant remember what they are. I didnt have any expectations but when I had my first bite, it was very flavoursome! In fact every bite I had of the chicken was full of flavour so I would definitely recommend this meal choice! The chips were nice, they need seasoning added to them which was provided along with sauce options, but I did get a lot of small crispy ones and the peas were a bit meh. The inside felt a bit dim and due to the lack of music it felt a bit quiet, however, due to the current situation I can understand the limitations that are in place.Overall it was still a really nice meal and I will visit again if Im in the area.

Nice steak, nice staff. Horrific experience and dirty. The music from the function room was so loud multiple people got headaches. You could feel the vibrations of the bass, it was very unpleasant. The floor was dirty and had food all over it, this was for a party which had been planned weeks in advanced. The staff didnt wipe tables. Its a shame that they dont take more pride and dont sort out the music problem because it would be nice otherwise.
