An absolute must see if you’re in London. Beautiful inside and out. There is an evening prayer that is evensong everyday at 5 pm (3 pm on Sundays). It’s free and open to the public but you can’t take photos. Definitely worth it to hear song echoes the halls.

I love this place. It is so grand and historic. I never tire of taking pictures from every angle. It makes me value London. Every tourist should put St. Pauls on the list. Inside the venue to the side is a cafe, beautiful shops and toilets.

An amazing baroque cathedral full of history and art. You can easily spend hours admiring this place. Going up to the dome takes 528 stairs but it is worth it as you can see all of London from there.

This is a very beautiful cathedral with a lot of decorations, and arts inside. Our kids enjoyed playing with their activity book (sold with the entrance tickets, online, but remember to bring a pencil with you). There is a great view from the top, climbing isnt very hard, but highly rewarding activity. There are a restroom, coffee shop and gift shop at the lower floor.

My favourite central London gym! Security check before enter so you know it’s safe, 528 steps of stairs to make sure you got cardio, great view on top, interesting exhibition on your way out so you also got to learn some history when you recovery, toilet is well maintained and always clean, and the best part is for annual pass is £18!! You don’t find it this cheap these day!!Joke aside, the details of this cathedral are amazing and sometime it’s so much I don’t know what to see. Currently they have a Jubilee exhibition where you got to see the cape the queen wear and it’s so stunning. Would recommend stay for an hour or two just go around and enjoy it.

Beautiful Catedral, we went to the top and what a view. Beautiful ceilings and so many things to see. The guide machine was very helpful to find out more. The way to the top is very hard, if you are old all young child may not be a good idea, once you start to go up is only one way up you cant go back, we has big bags and a 7 years old but did.I think we did the whole tour in abou 2 hrs.

A wonderful architectural beauty. Great place to view the fusion of various era of architecture and beliefs. Most of the spaces are open to public, which can be explored individuals or along a guide. You will need 5-6 hours to cover it completely. A nice place if your interest is history, architecture or photography.

Probably one of the most spectacular Cathedrals in all of Europe. The admission was £21 for an adult which felt a little high. It was certainly worth it though. The interior and exterior is magnificent. You can spend quite awhile just soaking in all the details. Inside are stairs up to the top to the dome where you can get some fantastic views of the city skyline. If youre not a fan of heights, or walking up a few hundred stairs you might want to skip it. Unfortunately the Whispering Gallery was closed when I visited. Below the cathedral on your way out is the crypt which is also interesting. Certainly a must see if youre visiting London.

Massive Cathedral! You can buy family tickets that will save money. There is a security point before entering where they will check bags. We were able to get in pretty quickly without buying tickets ahead of time. So much detail both on the outside and the inside. It is worth visiting the crypt below and taking your time to view the Inscriptions on the floor. The beauty and elegance of these cathedrals kept me in awe. There are toilets down below in the crypt however keep your entrance ticket as they will check to make sure you can re-enter. There is also a souvenir shop and Cafe below in the crypt as well. Princess Diana was married in this Cathedral which was interesting. Plenty of places to sit in the gardens outside. There is also a display right now (Sept.2022about Queen Elizabeth II in one of the rooms which was amazing to see.

This is an amazing cathedral. We took the self guided tour with audio devices. Very informative and a great way to do the tour. The cost was 17 or 18 pounds but well worth the price and very nice to be able to support the cathedral.

Fantastic place to visit. Besutiful Cathedral with a very good personal tour system in operation making it posiible to go at your own pace and take as much time as you like to take in all that there is to see. Watch out for the trap...... 528 steps to the top for the view!!! Its not easy. Take off your jacket or jumper!!!Like I said - 528 steps up, 528 steps down.

Absolutely stunning architecture. We walked around the exterior, but it closes quite early in the day so we were unable to get into the building. Regardless, if you have a chance to walk by even if it’s closed, take it and walk around the surrounding neighborhood as well. You won’t be disappointed.

Majestic cathedral and iconic building in London that is a must see!Easy to find but its a tourist hotspot, therefore expect crowds. There was a security checkpoint in front of the building that was efficient, however the ticket line inside the cathedral proceeded rather slowly, I waited around 10 minutes to get in.Entry fee is £21 which is relatively high, however the cathedral receives no public funding and relies on the income generated by sightseeing. I paid by card. There were signs and instructions not to take pictures inside, however it was not enforced by anyone, therefore people were taking pictures including myself. The interior is stunning, colorful, bright and vast! I felt very small just walking around. The major highlight for me was the viewing platform at the top of the dome, accessible via 528 stairs. It was quite a demanding walk (especially during hot summer daysand relatively long. Despite one way traffic I got stuck a couple of times behind slower people, so it took some extra time to reach the top. Be prepared for that.At the very top, the one way traffic rule is also applied - its a great idea, but also necessary one, as its really hard to bypass any visitors at the narrow staircase and at the platform. The same logic applies to going down, getting stuck behind slower visitors was unfortunately unavoidable. The views were spectacular - unobstructed 360 degrees views! Honestly one of the best I have seen of London, therefore the sweat and tears to reach the top were worth it. The skyline of the skyscrapers in the City, the Shard or the London Eye - all are right in front of you! But its definitely worth it to look directly below to see the bustling surrounding of the cathedral! The audio guide was offered to visitors, however I did not have time to listen to all the explanations so I opted out. Last to visit was the crypt, but be careful as the one way system is applied everywhere around the cathedral therefore it was very difficult for me to get back from the crypt to the cathedral. Down there an informative and exciting exhibition about the English Kings and Queens Jubilee celebrations were at display. The gift store was large and beautiful, located just opposite of the restrooms.Outside located gardens were closed at the time of my visits. Visited in July 2022.

Go to the top of the cathedral, amazing experience! +500 steps but it worth it. Just make sure you don’t have a busy day after that because you will be tired. The guided tour worth it, and I think it is better than the headphone tour. They stopped the tour for five minutes to pray and that was amazing and peaceful.

Another of the great sites in London. You should be able to get an audio guide and follow along, as you see the highlights of the church. Climbing to the top of the dome provided some beautiful views of London. Make sure to check out both sides of the crypts when you exit.

Initially I thought the ticket price per person was expensive, but after going I think it was absolutely worth it. There is a lot to do, exploring the tombs exploring the crypt, climbing up to the roof, I didnt even get chance to see everything because there was so much. Honestly one of the best days out Ive had in London.

Amazing architectural and visual wonder. London’s most beautiful and historically significant landmark and highest point of the city. Gallery of various renowned artworks. Has two great bells known as Great Tom and Great Paul. Ascending to the whisper gallery, stone gallery and golden gallery leaves you stunned and awestruck. Audio guided tour makes your experience memorable.Must visit place and highly recommended

Londons most storied cathedral. Historic, immense, tremendously ornate. Guides will help, audio guides also available. Prepare physically if you want to climb the 500+ stairs to the upper dome area for a sweeping vista of London (Whispering Gallery not always open).

It is a magnificent building with very historic architecture. Beautiful with many historical figures buried and a wonderful view of London. But requires a very tedious climb to the top consisting of more than 570 steps. It is worth climbing and not meant for the faint hearted.

Beautiful and wonderful cathedral occupying the highest point in London for 345 years. The earliest church on this site dates back to 604. Construction took 35 years to complete. The dome is 365 feet tall and was the highest building in London for 53 years, and is still one of the tallest in the world.

Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece that has graced London for over 1,400 years. If I don’t make it inside I know I’ll regret it. It’s incredible to think of the things that have happened around this beautiful work of art, and then only feet away a clash of eras with a modern steel structure with its glass facade and lifts. Truly is a wonder.

Super awesome place to visit! I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did and was pleasantly surprised. The building is absolutely stunning and there’s lots to see while here. I would recommend climbing to the top for gorgeous and high city views. The stairways are thin and there are lots of stairs, which may be important for some people to know, but it was well worth it. There is an audio guide- I found I didn’t always listen to it, since it didn’t completely go the pace I was hoping for. But it did share some interesting information.Would recommend coming here while in London!

Beautiful bit of British history. Get the headphone tour that is included in the price as it makes it so much more enjoyable. If you are able to get the 528 steps to the top of the cathedral for amazing views of the area. It can be quite narrow in places and a little daunting if youre scared of heights but its well worth it.Staff here are so helpful and very knowledgeable about it all so dont be afraid to approach them.

Phenomenal experience. So glad we decided to purchase a ticket and walk in. This place is enormous inside, filled with a lot of history and mesmerizing architecture. We also climbed all 528 steps and the views were also breathtaking from the top. Just makes you stand still and wonder how visionary these architects were back in those times. No wonder the building stood still from world war I and II attacks. You can easily spend about 2-3 hours with a walking audio guide and absorb all the gratitude paid towards American soldiers as well as all prominent London figures. Highly recommend going in.

Massive inside and out! Because of its size, it wasn’t crowded at all. We have already been to several cathedrals during our trip but St Paul’s is different. I wish the whispering gallery had been open, but I had to settle for the golden gallery if you can even call that settling! The views from the top levels are absolutely spectacular and the church is great. Staff was helpful, too. I would definitely recommend that you come here if you have time!

An absolutely beautiful cathedral. As an American, it was so nice to see the chapel dedicated to the Americans who were either stationed in or living in Great Briton when they were killed during WWII. Another surprise was walking around a corner and coming face to face with a bust of George Washington. We had to laugh when we saw the huge marble statue honoring Cornwallis who, of course, was defeated at Yorktown, effectively ending the American Revolution. Needless to say, the plaque on his memorial never mentioned the Revolution at all.

We only saw the outside and even that was breathtaking! Photographs could never do it justice, its grandeur is a must-see! Takes about 10 minutes to walk around but I will remember its beauty for a lifetime. The front doors are enormous and the attention to detail on the columns is wonderful. The gardens are well kept and open to the public. It costs £21 to go in (2022).

The cathedral is amazing. Tons of history inside the crypts. Also, a great tribute to the soldiers lost in WWII inside. The walk to the top is hard. Lots of steep steps and narrow halls. There are two different levels of the upper level There is no handicap access to the top. If you can make it to the top, the views are amazing. There is also a little window at the top that looks down on the cathedral floor. It takes at least an hour to get to the top and back down. It takes about 2.5 hours to get through including the hike to the top.

Going to St Pauls Cathedral is an absolutely amazing experience. It remains a very spiritual place and almost an oasis in the busy commercial city. The highlight was climbing to the top of the dome. It is a long way and not for the faint hearted. The view is stunning with very kind members of staff will to take family pictures. This really added the final touch to the visit and provide a memory that we can all treasure. Again, thank you for that.

What can be said of the largest Cathedral in London or England for that matter! Majestic, brings tears to your eyes. Magnificent Mass, held by a "President" and a Priest/Archbishop. Truly undescribable. You have to experience the feeling for yourself. "Must See" while visiting & hopefully, like me, you will stumble into Mass. The pics dont even do it justice, but I will "share" anyway!

This church compares to St Peter’s in Rome in its grandeur and beauty. There are wonderful audio guides that give great background on every part of the cathedral. Highly recommend making the climb all the way up to the Golden Gallery - it’s 500+ steps but very doable with places to stop and stairs that are evenly spaced. The view is incredible.

Absolutely massive inside. The line was very long at opening but moved quite fast.Art and architecture was awesome. We saw the 12:30 service and it was nice but I couldnt hear a thing. I was in the front row just to the side and I couldnt hear. They really need better speakers or something.Recommend going to the top but be warned it is a very long way and is quite tight at spots. Also is quite low at spots. Amazing view if you can climb it though.

Very pretty on the inside. Tickets are expensive so would recommend going for a service, so you get the best of the experience without having to pay. Downside is you won’t be able to take pictures. When you’re done hop across the Thames for some art in the Tate, get a bit of the modern and the old world within 10 minutes walking.

Since my most recent visit was a Sunday, I was unable to take photos inside the Cathedral which is an awe inspiring feat of architecture and creativity. Outside, the grounds are restful and beautiful, a towering icon amidst the high rise buildings of the city.Look up and ask yourself, how did this survive the Blitz? I believe the answer can be seen at the very pinnacle of the dome.On this occasion, the part that struck me was the juxtaposition of the ancient building, where Christopher Wren borrowed styles from Classical Greek and Roman architecture, the green and fountains being used by ordinary Londoners (and their dogs!in a hot day and the skateboarders making use of the shady steps and walkways. Access for everyone - as it should be.It is, of course, worth going inside. It is free on Sundays although you can only access the rear section of the Cathedral; the balcony and crypt areas are all closed. It’s worth it just to hear the majesty of the organ in full flow or to attend one of several services, including evensong). If you want to see the whole Cathedral, book in advance, it’s cheaper (2022 prices: £18 for an adult versus £21 at the gateand for the same price you can get access for a whole year.Allow plenty of time and try to go to the Whispering Gallery when it is relatively quiet so you get the full effect of the whispers.

Very nice gesture from the security staff to give us a key to accessible lifts since we were with small kids and a stroller. I had imagined it to be huge architectural building however one cannot stop from being awestruck once you actually visit this place. It is humongous! It is simply amazing to see vast open spaces under a roof. While it is not just a huge in size but also intricately decorated from all cornersDo consider taking a free guided tour inside. While visiting at the top gives spectacular view of London skyline, a word of Caio if you are visiting with small kids - keep an eye on them while going up since the railing are not childproofDo keep some time to visit the crypt to see the huge stone grave of Wellington

Just beautiful! We purchased the London Pass two day experience and got free entry to the cathedral. They have an audio tour for no extra money. You get to do a self paced tour and learn about the different aspects of the cathedral. The galleries are a must but only if you are NOT claustrophobic and can physically walk several HUNDRED stairs. I didn’t read the sign and had a bit of an attack on the way up to the stone gallery and at a certain point you are not able to turn around. I eventually made it but did not proceed to the highest point. My husband said it was an amazing view but way too narrow for me to ever make it up. This is a must see when in London, learning the history.

We were so glad that we got the chance to visit the Cathedral and learn its history. I would recommend taking the audio tour. We were able to get to the top, but be advised you need to climb 528 staircase to get really nice photos. Don’t forget to ask about Harry Potter spiral staircase 😉 and they will provide you a lot information about it.
