Nice pub but always rammed

The staff were exceptionally helpful and drinks were as strong as they should be. Good prices excellent experience overall.

Absolute shiet, received my sandwich 20 minutes after my mates were done eating. No regards to customer service. Food was ok

Does a great jerk chicken at lunch. Great for pints after work. Theres space outside to stand that gets a surprising amount of sun. Service is very fast.

No. I’ve been here a lot and every time there is an issue. The staff are not very nice, but I am willing to overlook this if there weren’t other issues. One was my friend found 8 (yes 8gnats in his Laphroaig whisky…. It was so disgusting. When we told the bar staff he looked like this was common and was offered no solutions… not even the drink without flies!! We ended up getting a replacement drink but it was a huge hassle. We also got double charged on food another time. I’d avoid if you have a choice.

The Fleece is a decent British boozer. Friendly staff, cosy decor, traditional British pub food cooked to an acceptable standard (the scotch egg is great!and not overly expensive. A firm favourite for casual City lunches.

This pub is one of the best pubs in central. You’re always welcomed with big smiles and positive energy. You’re given a wide variety of food and drink to choose from. The atmosphere is amazing. Will be telling friends and family to come here :)

What a lovely pub! Absolutely rammed and for good reason. Sabine was our lady and took amazing care of us. I was early to my table, needed to move it and was generally a complete pest but she was awesome accommodating us. All the staff are lovely even when it’s really busy. Can’t recommend enough 👏

Amazing City Pub! Went after work to watch Champions League, great selection of drinks & small plates. Staff were really friendly and accommodating too...will be coming back soon.

Food is good, but more often that not you cant enjoy it because of the flies in this place. Went there multiple times over the past few weeks and flies were always there, so no more for me.

Great pub also with excellent old traditional shelving along the outside which ensures on a sunny day very popular. One of the most popular city (financial districtpubs and always busy with regulars

The problem with modern pubs is that theyre great if you drink IPA, such a choice, even the lager tastes like IPA. Not one porter or stout on offer, unless you count the Guinness served in the UK as stout.To be fair, Im not an ale drinker and this appears to be an ale pub so my review is hardly fair.The venue is roomy but somewhat noisy. It was only 50% full and I was having difficulty hearing the conversation at our table.

Some tucked away areas from the bar. Can reserve tables. Serve draught real ale, numerous different gins, whiskys and wine. Also has a quieter downstairs with another bar, though this bar was not open when I went. Clean inside with friendly staff. Easy walk from Bank tube station.

A lovely, cavernous city pub just off Watling Street. Plenty of both Cask and Keg to choose from along with wines and whatever spirits you may fancy. Fast polite and cheerful service from the crew behind the bar. A Friday afternoon, demonstrating the return of the office folk. There is a cellar bar offering more room on crowded occasions along with a rear, raised area on the ground floor. A most enjoyable pint!

Great warm welcome for spur of the moment after work dinner with my colleague and beagle during C-19.Very friendly staff / team and excellent chicken burger, crisp cornflakes crumb and moist chicken. Rarely get both!

Huge corner pub on two levels. Dark wood panelling although upstairs has lots of natural light.Very good selection of ales, craft beers & wine and the food, although not gastropub standard, is better than traditional pub grub.Very busy on Thursday and Friday evenings, particularly as it has space to stand outside on warmer days.

GREAT PRICES - CHARMING STAFF - TRATIONAL YET MODERN VENUECame here to get some work done on my laptop. Had a pudding, it was so reasonably priced, and delicious. Tasted very high quality, and for the same price as a spoons!! Staff were so friendly, look forward to coming back.

Nice pub. Good beers selection. Terrible prices on the menu. Paid 7 quid for 3 chicken wings. Very nice Chicken wings. But 3! Small ones too! Probably the worst value for money food Ive ever seen. Didnt even get the celery. But they were nice... But way too expensive... Like about 4 pound too high for what you get... So tasty though.

Just a pub with quite a lot of space. They have the usual selection of beers and also wines. They show sports. Food wise is okish.
