Such a charming place.. a visit to St. Lawrence market makes the day. Even better if you have great company!St Urbain Bagel Bakery has yummy “croissant bagels” that I’d never had before.

Many fresh ingredients options. Like other farmers markets the prices of meat and vegetables are higher than supermarket.Butcher shops have high quality meat.Many bakeries for fresh breakfast and lunch options. Some of the butcher shops also offer BBQ which is absolutely must try.

The St. Lawrences Market has been in use for a long time. There are more than 50 professional food stalls in the whole market: cheese stalls, fishmongers, butchers, bakeries and pasta stalls. The store is clean and tidy, but the price is slightly expensive;

It was so fun to explore this market. It was delicious to my eyes, as well as my palate. We found our first butter tarts, and amazing scones (savory for my husband and sweet for me). Would have enjoyed spending more time, but it got busy fast!

This place made me feel like I was visiting an overseas market. It has a variety of food options from different cultures: many spices stores and a farmers market which has an excellent quality of produce. We got a chance to see a good demo from a seafood chef, and we tried her recipes and got some high-quality oysters! I highly recommend visiting both the first and second floors before making diversions on what to buy. The second-floor prices are somewhat lower than the first ones, and there are more options on the second floor.I will stop by here again when I visit Toronto!

100 from 10. It is a market with a lot of options. Each local has an original and awesome decoration. It is a must if youre visiting Toronto.I highly recommend the customized baggels, It worths every cent.

Visited the market with a group of 6 on a Thursday afternoon. Walked around and looked at all the inner shops and stands. Mostly fresh produce/fish/ingredients but also a handful of food/meal spots to choose from. We enjoyed a variety of dishes (pizza, oysters, Chinese food, meat pies, and pastries). Very clean and easy to navigate. Loved visiting this adorable market!

Best city market Ive been to! Columbus, Cleveland, & other cities have these, sadly my own city does not. Missed opportunities! I could go here every weekend, trying different things and just crowd-watching.

Such a eventful and happening place. So many great places to buy every kind of food imaginable. It is very clean and well kept. You have to try a Peameal sandwich from Paddingtons, and some dessert from Eves Temptations.

I wish I had more time to sample food from every vendor. The smell of bread baking, flowers, seafood, etc. It was a symphony for my nose. A must when you visit Toronto.

I saw this place advertised a lot in the list of things to do in Toronto so I visited it during my stay . It’s like a regular smaller version of farmers market . Few shops look like they have good meat selection but overall I didn’t understand the hype . If you have been to California or New York you can easily skip this from your list as you are not missing out on anything .

So many delicious options at this market. Come here hungry and enjoy the various avaliable foody options.I wished I lived close to a market such as this to bring home fresh seafood, cheese, cuts of all meats.The whole market was very clean and inviting.Come here early morning before it gets too busy. The servers are then more relaxed and will tend to give you more attention.This will be my scheduled visit each time in Toronto.

This market has so many interesting things to see! I was most surprised by the enormous Argentinean empanadas.I also bought some maple tree leaf shaped hard candy and some cute key chains and other goodies as souvenirs.

Such a cool little spot for all your boutique gifts and food choices. The range is from nears, fish, pastries, coffee, fruit & veg and much more. We had the Italian sandwiches and they were huge (didnt even get the largest option). Outside there is ample seating under the lovely ridgeway and there was artists playing to sit and enjoy our lunch with.

Always loved the St. Lawrence Market! Such a great market for local produce, butcher, bakeries, coffee roaster, and eateries. Most are small business. Expect to spend hours here exploring every nook and cranny, while indulging in the wide array of food and beverages under one roof! And be sure to check out the shops & restaurants around the exterior of the main market building! Especially now this summer season, theyve closed down Market Street to be pedestrian use only! Theyve placed picnic tables and Muskoka chairs all over Market Street so you may eat and hangout outdoors, on the cobblestone road. It makes for a lovely area to pause and enjoy.

On par with Reading Terminal and Pike Place. The meat selections were better than either of those but the restaurants inside were slightly less attractive. A must if you are in Toronto.

Great indoor market with tons of food and grocery options inside. The must tries are:1. Peameal Bacon Sandwich at Carousel Bakery with honey Mustard2. Butter Tart at any of the bakeries3. Lobster Roll or Crab cakes at Busters Sea Cove4. Montreal Bagels and bakery items5. Smoked meats, ribs, brisket, sausage right when you enterMarket is closed on Mondays and Sunday’s but in the summer it is open late til 7 and open on Sundays

Had a great time at the Feast on St Lawrence. Chef on stilts, live music and an illusionist made the afternoon time there worth it. The Illy guy was sweet. Though went in the market to grab some grub

Visited St. Lawrence marker because its been label as a destination site if your visiting Toronto.Lots of different types of food being offered. Place is large with enough space that you dont feel too cramped. Workers were friendly and people who frequented the market were also friendly. Great experience, even though I think Vancouvers Granville Island market maybe a bit bigger.

One of my favourite places in the entire city. A must visit whether you’re a local or a tourist coming in - so full of fresh produce and locally made, high quality goods! An absolute gem of a place, there is something special for everyone.Come early to beat the morning crowd on Saturday mornings (and to get your first pick of the in-season goods)!!! I will continue to visit this iconic spot whenever I get the chance, especially as opening hours have recently been extended.

If you love fresh food and high quality ingredients, this is the place for you. From fresh berries to caviar theres nothing you wont love about the St. Lawrence Market.The wife and I got the famous pemeal bacon sandwich and a breakfast pemeal bacon sandwich and it was great.

Great place, variety of food freshly made.They have produce section, meats and poultry. Cheese, wines and so much more.We went on weekday so the crowd wasnt as bad as it can get during the weekend.Clean has public washroom available.

Awesome place! I had to try Canadian Bacon when I visited. They have the best! I also love cheese so I had to grab some cheese and wine. Yummy!

We loved this market which we visited on Saturday morning. So much beautiful fresh produce, baked goods and meats. We had delicious bacon rolls from carousel bakery and Oysters from St Lawrence Fish which the stall holder shucked for us. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Huge selection of stores, very diverse. Tried stonemill bakery croissants and danishes (10/10), carousel bakery Peabody bacon sandwich and Portuguese egg tart (9/10), and bought a few things from the gift shop upstairs (which seems to be slightly cheaper than the one downstairs). Some places had lines, but most don’t. Expect to stay a hour minimum if you are buying things and it’s your first time.

I’ve definitely been to much nice markets with a wider variety of food and restaurants. This is a nice one but can be disappointing when you read outside that it’s ranked #1 market in the world by National Geographic. We still enjoyed our experience :)

Cool place!!! So many options to choose from here. Indoor Venue reminds me of a local farmers market; indoors with 2 floors and with tons of vendors selling everything from meats, cheeses, syrup, seafood, souvenirs, various hot food options, desserts and more. Found a bunch of great options. My family grabbed lunch from various places. Crossed this spot off of our Toronto list. Happy we stopped for the experience.Note: I recommend more seating/dining options.

Cool place in Toronto when you can find a very large variety of products and food!Carousel Bakery was very good… but as a market, it looks like it has a lot of very fresh products.I loved also the little Portuguese shop with very typical things.Nice place in the heart of Toronto

One visit is not enough!♥️My son did a little shopping and I’m a sweet tooth so I bought some cookies and cheesecake. Cheesecakes are not sweet but I still liked them. Farmer’s market have so many options and everything was so fresh

Must visit if you’re a tourist! St Lawrence Market is a large marketplace selling mainly food products from meats, seafood, cheese, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and has many stalls for hot food as well. There are two floors and it can be packed on the weekend. There are benches both inside and outside the market to sit at and enjoy your food. Peameal Bacon Sandwich, Poutine, and Montreal Style Bagels are all Canadian classics that you can try here.

A very interesting place to visit. Use the parking garage nearby.We went there in the morning. Enjoyed our breakfast there, lovely coffee and fresh organic fruits

It was a nice experience, however not the best open market out there. In Europe you can find way better ones. So if you are from Europe and visiting this one, you wont be really impressed.However the tart sold there is definitely unique and you should definitely try it.

It was great but a bit disappointed because I wish there was more healthy food there, maybe I need to go back and explore the market more.Great vibe though and if you eat a lot of meat, seafood and fish theres tons of fresh stuff there. Also a few good looking restaurants but I didnt try and it them.

Overall okay, nothing great. The market is very similar to Downsview merchant market and Dr. Flea market. This is popular because it is old. All vendors are amazing (5 stars). 3 stars for the market overall and not the vendors/shops.

I was here on a weekend trip and trying to get a bit of that tourist experience and what better place than the St. Lawrence Market to do so. I was able to purchase some souvenirs, grab a bite at the Carousel Bakery and buy some snacks for my little adventure to Centre Island. I loved how there were picnic tables outside so I could sit and enjoy my food in the sun.

One of the musts in Toronto, especially for those loving the food. Very diverse market, reflecting multicultural character of the city- empanadas from South America, Hungarian cabbage rolls, Ukrainian bread, Polish sausages, Moroccan delicacies, great bagels and pork ribs. Many options to savour.

Fun food market in Toronto. You can find a bit of everything here. Check out both levels. Prices are reasonable. They have a few tables inside but people tend to camp out at them. They have some benches outside but could use (and have spacefor many more. Benches would be great.Lots of security around. Be wary of pick pockets.

This is a must to visit place when in downtown. The have all fresh fruits and vegetables, kitchen accessories, fresh meats and many local items. The space is really clean and organized. You can buy good from there and there are ample seats inside as well as outside the market. The food is of high quality, mostly organic and you can buy it in the amount you want unlike the big packaging in super store. This market is on my list always.

Great place. All foods are super fresh. Its a Must when in Toronto. Try the Canadian Bacon Sandwich. Really amazing flavors. Totally recomended.

One of the top 10 attractions when visiting Toronto. This market has a great balance of unique products and casual restaurants. Some of the stores are flagships to the Market and my favourites one are:1- Busters Sea Coves - try the lobster Bisque or the Lobster Bun 🦞2- Lively Life (in the lower floor- go explore all the variety of international things!3- DiLisos Meats— great selection of fresh meats!4- St Lawerence Pizza & Pasta - chicken and pesto pizza 🍕 🥰5- Sea Market- live lobsters 🦞! All seafood products were worth every penny!! Everything we got was super fresh and yummy as always. Best spot for fresh seafood and the fun atmosphereThey will ship out the fresh seafood to your place for you. It isnt cheap but great quality seafood products and fresh vegetable. Have shipped it back a few times and love the tiger shrimp and oysters.

A wonderful place to relive the past. It was quite interesting to see the old pics of the market way back in the 1880s...I was distracted by the history and the colorful shops displaying all kinds of fresh products. The covered market took me back to the New Market of Kolkata, India. Similar ser up and feel except that New Market is more sprawling. Must have some of the interesting food being sold there. Definitely worth a visit.

Loved the ambience of this place. Bought a chocolate croissant from Future Bakery and it tasted amazing! Had a lobster bisque from Busters Sea Cove - they were vert generous with lobster meat, but the soup is abit too salty.

An amazing, awe inspiring moment of food, shopping and culture all combined in one spot.Parking is limited and pedestrian heavy.Lots of different gluten free options and fresh food.If in the area for the day its a must see.

Most times we come to Toronto, we make sure we stop by the St Lawrence Market for lunch or a quick snack. It seemed like during covid, there werent as many vendors open, but typically this place is very busy.Were vegan but we still find plenty of spots to have a bite to eat. Last time I picked up some stuffed grape leaves which actually were better than ones at many restaurants.Prices here for a lot of the items are very reasonable too. The ambiance is always nice here. There is limited seating so just take it to go when its nice out and go to the nearby park with the dog fountain.Location is fantastic too. Easily walkable from Union station or Yonge street.No complaints here, this place is great.5/5.

It is always enjoyable to visit and shop at St. Lawrence Market.We love the fresh bakeries, fresh seafood and delicious collection of cheeses.Highly recommended to visit if you will be in Toronto soon and it is worth it to plan for a special trip to visit this amazing place.

This is a very organized, clean and comprehensive marketplace where they sell fresh produce, meats, cooked foods, coffee, kitchen essentials and more.It is a joy to walk here even if you are not buying anything and they sell way more stuff than the usual supermarkets near you, premium cut, special cuts of beef, mutton, chicken etc.Prices here are a little higher, but freshness and variety is definitely better than what you get at supermarkets where they do sell stale meats or items that are not as fresh.There are a few specialty shops selling cheeses, fresh or frozen seafood, wines and they are really amazing.As a consumer, I might come here to buy special items, but given the price, I will be selective and look for offer fresh items elsewhere. Nonetheless, this place is pretty nice to walk around, look at fresh produce and meats and get inspiration for your next meal.P.S. Not everything is that expensive, they do have special offers now and then so keep a lookout and you might just find those hidden gems.

This market was awesome. It was a popular tourist spot. They have a great variety of fresh produce. I was able to find anything I need. They have cheese, organic food, caviar, truffles, king crab, oysters, steak and much more. The meat and seafood were really fresh. The price was reasonable too. If you want to have lunch, there were some fast food take out shops and bakery shops. You can grab & go! We ended up buying a lobster roll & some fish & chips from Buster’s Sea Cove and found a nice patio for lunch there. It was a very enjoyable visit!
