86 S Main St, St. George, UT 84770, United States, Saint George
Museum for kids offering interactive exhibits, including a play farm, grocery store & science room.
Visiting through St. George and after driving 5 hours it was the perfect place to get a break. There was lots to do but more so for kids 12 and under. My 15 year old wasnt as excited about this place but all in all we loved it and would recommend it to people with children. Fun activity and fairly cheap pricing.
Really cool place. Great indoor activities as well as a really cool outdoor play area.
I haven’t been to the children’s museum exhibit. This review is for the reception area.Absolutely fantastic reception venue. Beautiful historic building, well maintained and inviting space.Great dance floor.Excellent restrooms.Kitchen prep area adequate.Elevator is nice, used it to get a baby pram up to the dance floor.Family had an amazing time and loved this gathering place.
Definitely a great place to spend a couple of hours-so many things to explore.
I cant say enough good things about this museum - their hands-on rooms are so fun and engaging. This is our go-to place when were in town :)
I’m not sure how they get so many five star reviews? Fifty percent of the “interactive” things to do are down and out of order. This marker bowl had a blue marker that was dried up and a yellow marker that worked. This picture speaks of the condition of the entire place.
My first time visit to this place. Was a very entertaining facility and lots of learning opportunities for a wide range of ages.
We had so much fun here with my 3 year old and 1 year old. So many rooms with different themes and lots to learn, explore, and play with. We will definitely be coming back!
This place is well maintained and our kids had so much fun visiting. The only reason to not give them 5 stars is due to the fact that we missed a whole level while there. The third floor was blocked off so we couldn’t go up there due to a private event. We were visiting from out of state and went for the first time so I thought that was where the cool dinosaur and music room were located. When we got back home I decided to really look on the website to show my husband what rooms we missed and then realized they are actually on the bottom floor. I wish there were more signs showing where to go for these other rooms or have the person at the front desk mention about it especially when something is closed off.
I take my children to the museum about twice a week and they LOVE it! The staff is especially friendly. There is a lady there with puffy curly hair that always makes sure people clean up after themselves, because it’s not a playground, it’s a museum!! There’s lots of fun activities and learning opportunities. Love it there!!!
This childrens museum is incredible. Everyone is so kind and helpful there especially the director Lori. Parents that are there visiting need to follow the rules and stay off their phones and just enjoy spending time with their kids. Mark Adam I would say that you are wrong and just need to remember that the rules are important and the director knows better.
Such a fun environment to bring the kids I nanny for! They loved every minute and did not want to leave. The workers were so awesome especially Lori who was able to answer all of our questions and even join in on the fun! Will definitely be coming back.
This was a whirlwind of a day.... My daughter loved this place! It was really fun. She ran through the entire place, it was honestly hard to keep up with her. She loved the train and plane room, and the shopping/market area... What a fun place.
Great experience my 2 year old LOVED it!
Really cool place for kids of all ages. It’s fun and there’s so much to do to stay busy all day. The parents do seem to leave kids do things on their own which kind of gets in the way. The place needs a little more updating and cleaning. My family really enjoyed this place!
Great place for the kids and adults. Lots of different areas with hands on activities/exhibits. We spent at least an hour and a half exploring. There was plenty of parking in the back, but we came on a Tuesday morning, so it might be busier in the evenings and weekends.
For the small children( even perhaps the small child inside of us( it is a lot of fun. It changes a little bit over time. So if its been a while since youve been there, try it again and you might find that its a little bit different than the last time you were there. Theres a lot of things for the children to be able to do with two small floors. Theyve given a lot of interesting things for the kids to go and have fun and learn and do.
We visited while in town. It cost $6.25 for anyone 2 and over to enter. The building is fairly small but they’ve done a decent job using the space effectively. There are several interactive exhibits: a grocery store, car shop, airport, farm, theater, bank, dinosaur display, submarine, and a few more. Most of the exhibits are well maintained. A few need some TLC since it is a children’s museum. My kids favorite exhibit was the theater. It feature popular songs that the kids know so they have fun putting on a show singing and dancing.Overall it was a nice experience. It could definitely benefit from a few more seating options for adults visiting with kids as it can get a bit exhausting standing most of the time.
Very unique place for children of all ages (2 and up)! There are multiple floors of activities for the children to see and interact with. The activities range from grocery shopping, banking, theatre, airports and planes, and so much more. The place is kept very clean and staff will update parents and children via intercom in the building on any news.Only downside is you have to pay for 2 tickets if the child is above 2, and they are the same, full priced tickets for both child and adult.
This is a great children’s museum. There are many play stations. Our kids had a great time. The museum isn’t very large, it can fill up very fast. Our kids (2-11 yearsall found something fun. This occupied my family for a little over an hour. For us, it was good value.
If you have kids or grandkids this is a must visit museum. My kids stay for hours and still don’t want want to leave! So many different hands on activities and they keep making it better and better!
This is a great little childrens museum! We especially loved the theater and the sports exhibit! They try to teach kids to clean up after themselves and parents really do a nice job keeping things straight. Its inexpensive, which is so helpful and appreciated.
I love this museum! It allows my child to be as clever and imaginative as he wants, but is never too busy. I think it is a perfect museum with nothing but fun activities. Each room is themed and allows your child to be independent.
I brought my nieces and nephews here and they had a blast! It’s a super fun museum to explore and there are so many different interactive exhibits and things to learn!
My 23-month-old was in his element in the kitchen area and grocery shopping activities. My older kids had fun too. Though my 11-year-old was saying shed only enjoy it with her baby brother, she still found enough to do and be entertained by.
This is a fun place. Its mostly designed for under 10 years old but my kids still had a great time.
This place is great! Lots of fun stuff for all ages inside and a splash pad and little river outside to cool off when its super hot! Weve been twice now and the kids have loved it both times! Ages 6, 4, and 1 are our kids ages for reference.
Absolutely LOVED this little ripple in time! Each room was very interactive, and supplemented with beautiful graphic illustrations. All the props were hand crafted, sturdy, safe, and detailed cleverly. I probably had more fun than my children! One thing to note, despite popular belief it is not free, but the 5 bucks will get your family further along than a gallon of gas these days. Well worth the memories an pictures! Great job St George!
Took my Girlfriend and her son here a couple times, and we had a blast!! Theres so many activities for the children to explore, and interact with. I believe our favorite attraction was the shadow maker. Staff was very friendly, and welcoming. Id recommend this place to any families with children aged 2 to 10.
Great little place for kids! My 8, 6, and 4 year old (and babyall really enjoyed it. It’s only $5 which I think is a great deal too
This place is magical! Went on a Thursday afternoon and it wasnt busy so we could really enjoy everything. My girls 9 and 11 both had a great time.
Wow what a little gem this place is! Right in the heart of their Main Street area and only $5 per person! That’s a steal. We had fun exploring each of the different themed rooms. If you are visiting the area and have kids in tow I highly recommend visiting and supporting this children’s museum. We had two 6 year olds, a 4 year old and a 2 year old and they all had to be dragged away.
This is a lovely place. When visiting family in the cold or rain we take the kids here. We have another kid this trip that we didnt last trip. They always have fun and there is always something to do. They made a harmonica as the activity this last trip. Everyone is always friendly and the kids learn something. They especially loved the supermarket, car area, and the dinosaur exhibit. Its a classy place and a fun time for all.You should go and enjoy yourself. Bring your kids though. It would be kind of weird to go alone as an adult.
A series of about ten large rooms filled with toys for children to play with. Suitable from about 18 months to ten years old. Each room has a different theme. A totally hands on experience
Amazing place for kids. Lots of rooms and activities for learning. Spent about 2 hours there and kids did not get bored.
This museum is such a gem for a wide range of ages! I went here with older boys--10, 12, and 14, and they still found engaging elements like the climbing the rock wall, building the ball toy downstairs, role playing in the bank, pretending to work back stage in the theater, and exploring cool play options in the dinosaur room.
Great place to take your kiddos. They can use their imagination in each themed room. My kids favorite was the dinosaur room and grocery store. For only five bucks a person, you get a day of fun.
I wasnt sure my son would like a childrens museum, since he just turned 13. I figured we would try. The price wasnt bad. Only $5/person. It was well worth it! There was so much to do! He especially loved working the sound and lights for the stage! Miking the cow was a little weird for him, but a good experience. The rooms were well cared for and lots of fun! They claim the castle room is due for a make over, but I dont see why. It was really nice!
My 2 and 3 year old loved it here. There is so much to do and learn. We will definitely be back often. The staff was super nice and helpful also. Definitely recommend taking your kids if you havent already been.
Very cute place. It reminds us of a place at home called pretend city. Great for kids under 8. Price is extremely reasonable (at home admission is nearly quadrupled this price). Staff is very friendly and it’s very clean. Our younger kids loved it.
We went during COVID-19 so we didn’t get the full experience. But what we did get to enjoy was very educational. It’s definitely for younger kids, I would say 10 or younger. I would take my younger child back during a time where it isn’t limited!
We love this museum! Its fully interactive so the kids can touch and play with pretty much everything. Weve gone here multiple times when we visit St. George and my four kids never get bored.
This place is wonderful for kids to learn, experience different things, build, and use their imagination. There are several different areas with themes from science and dinosaurs to art and music. My kids could spend hours here, not to mention my wife had to drag me out kicking and screaming as well.
We had so much fun here! It was only $5 a person and you can leave and come back as long as you keep your bracelet on. There are so many different rooms upstairs and downstairs, with fun themes. There is an elevator or stairs to get between the floors and a handicap/stroller entrance in the back. My kids had so much fun and we cant wait to go back!
I miss this being free, but the kids still love it, even if it does cost $5 per person. They update the rooms occasionally, and keep it interesting for kids of all ages. The kids love exploring and learning in each room. The grocery room is fun to learn about the different parts of maintaining a store, but just the shipping end of it, and next door is the bank, where the kids loved pushing in cloth money and seeing how it moves through the tubes to the tellers. The science room was so fun to learn about weather and electricity, and the little train in the dinosaur room was a blast! The kids also loved climbing in the huge dinosaurs. The art room had so many activities to do, and engaged all the kids ages 1 to 10 in our group. We could have spent hours learning here!
So clean and breath taking! Best children’s museum I have been to! My little guy (17 monthshad an amazing time. Two levels with multiple themed rooms. I can’t lie... I’m 27 and took my mom with us and we both had as much fun if not more than my 1 year old.
The Saint George Children’s Museum is a must for any daddy daughter date. It is educational, well-maintained, and hours of fun. What I love most about the children’s museum is doing things together with my kids. From time to time they switch out some of the exhibits which adds to the fun of coming back again and again. Although it is free, I highly recommend making a contribution to help keep the children’s museum funded for years to come. They have recommended donations listed at the front entrance.
Our kids had a blast here! They especially loved the airport, grocery store, and dressing up like a princess and Dragon. We spent around three hours playing and learning with our kids. There is definitely enough to keep them entertained and happy for a long time. I would say it is worth the cost for an afternoon of fun.
Awesome little childrens museum. Loads of activities for kids of all ages. Price was great; service was fantastic and friendly. Really neat, historic looking building on the outside in a cool part of town.Lots of neat little areas for the kids to play, from a firemen section, space/science area, music, dinosaurs, the list goes on. Highly recommended!
A great place for kids to play around, use their imagination, and learn some new things. This children’s museum is a hidden gem of a sort in the things “to do” in St. George. We have visited it each year for the past three years, and our kids have had fun each time. If you have little ones that are 8 and under this is a great place to take them anytime it is open!
