St. Cloud Campground and RV Park - in Saint Cloud, United States
Very clean place that seems family friendly. Quiet nights by the fire were nice.
Wonderful RV park, quiet and secluded, yet only 10 minutes from downtown St Cloud. Owners are very nice and accommodating. Very clean laundry and showers. Decent sized pool. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was a lack of amenities that more upscale parks have, such as a hot tub or fitness center. But I have no complaints otherwise. We greatly enjoyed our 3 months there, and would definitely stay again.
It was a good stay here. We had a good time.
Someone complain about dogs off the leash untrue Im never coming back this campground sucks
Nice park located a couple of miles out of town, so you feel in the country but have easy access to supermarkets, etc. Large sites, nice pool, propane available and the usual store that has some essentials.
It is a very well cared for park. Will stay there again.
This is a great campground and RV Park to stay at. The sites are nice and large, the roadways and access points are clean and well maintained, and the staff are great. We stayed here for a quick night as we traveled and we loved it. The playground is updated and nicely sized, the pool is nice and clean, and its located conveniently in town. Although its close to town you still feel like youre one with nature. I was also impressed as the area had a bad storm system weeks before and youd never know it.Well definitely be back soon!!
Pool andplayground very nice for grandkids. Park was quiet at night too
They select the space you get. We had #79 yet many other larger sites were open. That space should never be assigned to a 35 foot fifth wheel and a 21 foot truck. It is right on a corner and 3 feet from the neighboring camp site. Almost got hit by vehicles navigating around the corner. People walk within 3 feet of your door. The fire pit practically sits right on the road. No place to sit around it. It is right next to where your truck has to park. It cant be used. The water post is right next to the electric panel and faces it. Any spraying...good luck. Highline power lines run through the camp. Several sites sit on a hill. It is heavily treed. Has a pool which was closed and childrens playground. Not much else for the high cost of camping there. Does have 30 and 50 amp full hook-ups. Since I grew up in St. Cloud, this was our 3rd try at this campground; never again. We left our site a day early. Oh, and no WIFI in that corner of camp.
Very nice campground. Was just passing through but would stay again when in the area
One of the best parks weve stayed at. Quiet, family friendly, and great staff. Especially Jason. Hell go out of his way to help you, and keeps the place looking amazing!
crabby people all the way around. they will not tell you were you will be. you can NOT ask what site you are in. when you get there you have to follow a crabby guy in a golf cart around until he finds a spot. customer service goes a long way and this place has none.
We got the opportunity to come stay at St. Cloud camp ground for the entire summer. They had 1 spot out frount that they let us park our 40 fifthwheel. We had a great time while we were there. We stayed from April to January when it got just too darn cold to stay in our RV any longer. Great people who run this park. Chris the owner was so great to talk to. His camp ground was a 5 star in our book. Nice friendly people, the park is kept up really nice and so is the pool. Bathrooms are clean and it was so nice to stay there. If you are looking for a great place to camp call this place. You wont be disappointed. A BIG thank you to Chris and his crew for making our 8 month stay so nice. You have a nice quiet park and we appreciated all you do. Sure hope you are all having another great summer.Roger and Sherry Eld
Excellent campground. Recommend highly. Quiet and lots of space per lot. Swimming pool was clean. Hookups are more than sufficient. Stayed for one night
This was great find! Very nice campground and great people. There were quite a few seasonal folks but we still felt welcome. It was clear that there was a strategy to where they put overnight campers versus longer stays. We were there a week and had very nice spaces. When we come back to Minnesota I will definitely stay there again. The only suggestions I have are to (1consider putting in a fenced dog run since it is illegal to have dogs off leash and (2consider trash pickup since there is only 1 set of dumpsters. But those are minor and wouldnt stop me from coming back.
Very nice, well maintained, clean, little store, everything worked at our site. Lots of smiling faces. We will be back.
I spoke to the lady in the office. She was very friendly and understanding. We were looking for a place to park the camper for the night. She got us a lot close to the entrance and exit. The campground is very nice clean. Its got roomy shower and clean restroom. They also have swimming pool. Not far from the campground is a Kwik Trip gas station that has grocery, fresh produce and meat. I would recommend this place to anyone.
We were going to camp with our baseball team for state tournaments. Four out of seven people in our camping group got a call that their sites were cancelled due to an electrical issue 4 days prior to our camping trip. I called to cancel my booking due to the rest of them being cancelled and talked with Melissa there. She informed me that due to the fact that my site was still okay, I would be charged the $10 cancellation fee. I told her I was fine with that but thought it was unfortunate being the rest of my groups were cancelled and I wasnt going to camp alone. She then hung up on me. I also heard that she hung up on 2 others from our group the day before as well. How unfortunate as word of mouth is the best business and she ruined that for this campground without us even having the chance to stay there.
Me and my girlfriend where their camping over the fourth of July and the tent the camping sites are huge the staff is very friendly very helpful very clean campground at a good time and even though it was really hot we were still in the shade Thanks Im definitely going back
We love this place! This is our 2nd time staying here and we will come back again. We were more than happy with the clean laundry room, restrooms, office store and lounge area. We didn’t use the pool or the showers but I’m sure they were just as clean and well-maintained as the rest of the park. The staff is so helpful and pleasant! We stayed for nine days. We had an electrical issue when we arrived and the owner was more than accommodating in providing freezer space so we wouldn’t lose our frozen goods. This is truly a “ Minnesota nice“ RV Park and Campground!! It’s location on the edge of town has plenty of huge shade trees and wide open space to allow for gentle breezes.
Park was ok once you figured out how the sites work.. way over priced. Was not impressed with the staff (completely rudeThey closed the bathroom in the evening so no ones allowed to use them. And I camp in a van and it doesnt have a toilet. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. 👎
My husband and I hadnt planned to stay in St. Cloud, but troubles with our coach dictated otherwise. We were able to get a site on a moments notice. GREAT park. Mature trees, adequately spaced sites, nice and quiet. Very clean and well cared for property. We ended up having a difficult situation where we werent entirely sure how long wed need to be in the area. The folks at the front desk were extremely understanding and accommodating. They allowed us to stay and pay on a day to day basis. Huge relief, and so helpful in our situation. Would absolutely stay here if we pass through the area again! Thank you St. Cloud RV Park and Campground for your hospitality!
Very narrow turning radius not good for big rigs and too many trees and showers were not hot. For smaller trailers it would be perfect.
Affordable and nice surrounding. I was just overnight but awkward electric, sewer and water hookups plus no obvious "spot" but nice grass though not level. Unfortunately the WiFi was the norm for most campgrounds with a weaker signal and buffering constantly.
Campground is very convenient to St. Cloud (MN). Easy to find and easy access. Can handle even the largest motorhomes. Our site was level and included a picnic table and fire pit. Facilities were clean and well-maintained. There is a pool, playground, and dog runs. Staff in the office were friendly and helpful. There is the right amount of space between sites - not on top of your neighbors. We had full hook-ups (50 amp service). We would definitely come here again.
I would have to say this place was the worst camping experience I have ever encountered. Wasnt there but for 4 days and owner Chris was knocking on my door accusing me of ridiculous accusations. Pool was beautiful but guests had to pay extra 2 bucks to use it. Grounds keeper was just as rude as the owner, chris. Would definitely not even recommend this to my worst enemy!
A good campground if you dont want something completely crazy. Better place to go if it is just you and your S/O or Girlfriend/Boyfriend. There is a pool, its a good one, but, it is a little dirty at times. Good Campground, good place to go during later months like September and October. Ill be going here next week!
We made reservations online last summer, 7 weeks in advance stating we had a 38 travel trailer with 3 slides. When we checked in, the employee, who was SHORT with us and RUDE, took us to our spot, which was too small for our camper. Our living room slide would have been right up next to the slide of the camper next to us, thats If we could have even gotten our slide all the way out. We stopped at the Office to get a refund, and the Lady behind the counter told us we could not get our refund, $294.98, as the Owner had to give it to us. We had just driven 5 hours in the heat.....NOT Happy Campers!! Seven days later, we received a payment of $250.98, which was $44.00 short of which I paid. We did NOT cancel our reservation or any part of it. We showed up. They did NOT have a spot for us. I emailed them 2 months later requesting the balance of what they owed me, but never received a answer. Makes a person wonder how many other people they have shorted their refunds from????We were able to get a spot at the St.Cloud Clearwater RV Park, which is a 6-Star campground. The Owners were very friendly and accommodating! I would love to stay there again. I highly recommend this campground!!
Clean, nice and quite place with a pool and laundry. The place was packed on a week day... but very clean. Only bad I’d say is we were put in a campsite that was crazy cramped together. We barley got in with our 38ft camper... the sites were NOT very spread apart. However, the campers were friendly, but the place was expensive.
Very nice campground with large spaces. Staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient to St Cloud and to highways but no highway noise at all. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
Nice campground close to town. Restrooms are quite a hike from most tent sites and pretty decent overall. Showers were a bit on the lame side however. Lots of seasonal campers. Grass was well maintained as well as the overall park. Would stay again.
St. Cloud, MN – St Cloud Campground & RV ParkWe stayed for a week at the end of July 2018 in site 86, which was a long pull-through (but not terribly widetowards the back of the campground. We were escorted to out site, which wasfairly level with FHU, 50 amp. Wifi was weak since we were in the back. Verizon was good at 3-4 4G bars. It had a picnic table and fire ring. Campground had a pool, was kid and pet friendly. All of the Staff was all very nice and helpful. They have Good Sam’s discount, stay a week and get one day free. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures other than the campground map.
Went to St Cloud/Clearwater by mistake. Know which one you called! Both are Good Sam. Really enjoyed our stay @ St Cloud campground. Pretty park, large clean, private showers. Owners take pride in parks appearance. Definitely would stay here again.
Best compliment or comment we can give is that we will return to this RV park. Nice, friendly staff that guided us to our spot. Restrooms and laundry room were clean and well maintained. Sites were well spaced out and lots of grass around sites. We were in space 52 that we really liked. Other guests were friendly and we observed all pet owners cleaning up after their pets which was nice snd that says something about the park owners and happy campers. Pool was kind of small but we only saw a few in it at all. Wonder if they enclose it during tthe ge cold months because if so, they would see some use, we are sure. Both Good Sam and military discount was very much appreciated. If we had known ahead of time what a nice park it was, we would have stayed longer.
Quiet campground. Lots of retired people. Just what we were looking for. Nice pool. Clean restrooms/showers and laundry. Did not use the lodge or store so cant say how they were. When we came in the staff took us to our site and helped guide our backing up. We will come again.
It was a very clean place. It was a nice friendly place.the price was reasonable to .they help you get to the site. And make sure you get set up before there leave. I give them a 5 starr we where up there on the 4th of July till Sunday. Site was 31 thank for the great job .
We camp here every summer when we drive through MN. The kids love the clean pool and the playground. We love the clean laundry room, quiet and well maintained campground and the friendly staff! Pull-through sites are spacious and have some nice shade. We stay in a travel trailer with two young children.
Beautiful and clean RV park. Located on the edge of town. Very enjoyable with free WiFi and some other things. There is a small little pool there and some other facilities. I did not get to swim because the pool was closed but the staff was friendly and helpful. Over all it is a great campsite and I can totally recommend it to any campers passing by.
The grounds were nice. There were some open areas to run and play and some wooded areas for shade. Someone even slept in a hammock connected to the trees area. The dog walking area was nice, though quite dusty. It would have been nice to have it fenced in as a dog park. The lots were level, which was nice and it was a pull through. Why one star? It was boring. We didn’t feel like we were free to roam. It felt exclusive by several, either regulars or seasonal people. Those folks seemed to have a great time as did their kids who were running through our site and through the woods directly in front of us playing later tag, which upset our dogs who then were on edge the whole time. There are a few antique shops and the normal mainstream restaurants, but nothing really special in Saint Cloud. There is no gift shop, but I heard the Lodge had a few odds and ends if you forgot something. I heard they had ice cream, but nothing advertised. Overall, it isn’t friendly. There is potential, but I did not feel welcome to take advantage of the areas that looked nice to walk through. As it was, I was stared down by a fellow camper as I walked my dogs. He never took his eyes off of me as if he were watching to make sure I cleaned up after my dogs, which we do!The pool was well kept, but small and not enough seating. The playground looked nice, but it was off a ways, by the owner’s residence and it was not shaded at all.All hook ups were available. Overall, not such a great experience. For the cost, which was between $40 and $50, it wasn’t worth it. Boring and not friendly for us or our children.
First year as a seasonal. Will be back again next year.sooo much going on every weekend every one is so friendly. Owners very friendly and helpful. All I can say beautiful camp grounds and heated pool and friendly and helpful campers.
This campground is nice enough however I will never stay here again. I booked in advance and specifically put that I would be arriving late, they never contacted me with my spot information and apparently it was posted by the front door * which no one ever told me ). I was looking forward to spending a day without having to break camp and set up again but because they never told me what spot I would be in or told me where I can find the information I got in late, set up camp and then had to break camp in the morning, move, set up camp just to break camp again in the morning. It obviously doesnt affect them because they acted apologetic but that really doesnt help my circumstance. Ive been traveling non stop and just wanted a day of rest and they were unable accommodate. All I needed was a text, email or call.
This is a very clean park. You can tell that keeping things clean and updated is important. But, I do not agree with there policy of charging extra $$ for each of your kids. There rates include 2 adults and you must pay extra per child per day that you stay.
Well kept campground, sites available for tents up to big rigs. Quiet and close to town. Roads and sites are gravel with some sites in full shade and some with partial shade. We had no problem getting a site were we could get satellite.
Stayed here on a weekend in June. Called at the last minute and they were able to accommodate me. I wanted a 50 amp but they only had one spot left and it was 30 amp. Lots of large pull throughs. No lake but there is a pool.Very clean and well kept. Quiet at night even on the weekend nights even though the place was full.
We have traveled all over the country in our RV and we can say that this is the nicest parked we have stayed in. Beautiful surroundings, clean, quiet, the staff is very helpful, family friendly, nice big lots. Highly recommended!
Terrible communication and ownership is unwilling to work out differences. Do NOT come here if you expect organizational skills and leadership that trusts and is looking to work with their customers. I was sent no kind of confirmation on our site so I called multiple times before the date we were going to visit here to confirm we had our reservations. Both times I was told that I did not have a reservation so we decided to go to a different camp ground. A month later I realized I was charged for the sites that I was told I didnt have. I called 7 times to work this out, where every time I was told they would look into it and call me back. Not once did I receive a phone call back. On the 8th time I called somebody looked into things while I was on the phone and she said there was nothing they would do, putting me out $120 for mistakes that their staff had made.
I used to rent a home that was located at the front of the campground property. The owners were always very responsive, respectful, and easy going. The campground was always buzzing with happy campers. Chris, the owner, works really hard to keep the campground clean, quiet, and running smoothly. There is a large building at the back of the property that can be rented for parties. I held a graduation party here, and it was a great success. Also, there are a few campsites set back further into the woods for people seeking a more private and woodsy setting. Overall, a really great place to spend the weekend with your family.
Friendly, Clean, Quiet.St. Cloud Campground & RV Park is a VERY clean and quiet campground. There are a lot of great places to camp throughout the state and this is one of the cleanest and friendliest ones around. There is a nice size pool, store/lodge with games, helpful staff and an assortment of groceries and ice for quick needs. The restroom and shower facilities are attended throughout the day. The grounds and roads are kept neat and tidy. There are a lot of groups and clubs that travel through to use the Rally Center on site. Some of the family groups and reunions can be disrespectful at times and management does its best to keep an eye on any issues so each weekend is enjoyable for everyone.
Awful for groups. Our family has been camping every year for 35 years, and this place ranks among the least organized and least accommodating places. Double charged for visitors/parking, shone flashlights in our faces once the clock struck 10:00pm (quiet hours), got upset when kids were running around during the day (I thought this was a campground?), and were all around rude and clearly not looking for repeat customers.
Nice little campground. Quiet (although we were not here on the weekendand neat. Bathrooms were clean and smelled nice. Did not have to plug the meter for a shower. Small blessings. Will stay here again when passing through. Camped in a motor home.
