Biggest church in Eindhoven (I guess...)Its nice and churchy...I liked the glass-in-lead-windows, which were modern, and not what youd expect in a church normally.

. Catherines Church, built in 1861-1867, is probably the highlight in the first period of P.J.H. Cuypers long and fruitful career. Its a three-aisled cruciform basilican church with a three-aisled transept and a choir with an ambulatory and three hexagonal radiating chapels. At the front the church has three connected porches and two differently detailed towers. Its design was based on 13th-century French Gothic churches, especially those of Chartres and Reims.

I passed by the church on Saturday noon. There was an open market in front of it. I think it’s a common Dutch open market that regularly opens on Saturday. The church’s building is beautiful. Too bad, some people left their trashes at the small stair in front of it after sitting there.

A beautiful historic church in middle of Eindhoven city. It has twin towers and the view is really amazing. You can always enter inside and it is even more beautiful from inside. Truly colourful.

What a beautiful place! All the structure is unbelievable, the contrast between light and dark is amazing... and I was soo lucky that they were practicing in the Pipe organ what made my experience blow away !

beautiful church, very educational visit it is really worth visiting and taking the time to appreciate the immensity and spirituality of this church, a monument full of Catholic symbolism, apart from a museum and an incredible archeology source, impossible to walk through its Inside, and not marvel at the beautiful architecture, if you are going to visit the city of Eindhoven, be sure to visit this church, very close to the central station, and surrounded by very good shops and restaurants, an unmissable visit.

Interesting kerk, lots of things to see

Words are not enough to describe the beauty or the history of this place.The skeletons and the skull are also an interesting aspect.

Nice historical place. They were playing love choirs when we went inside which was really amazing. They also have historical skeletons with their stories.

Many people go to Amsterdam but not to little cities nearby. Eindhoven is only an hour away and a great, little place to just see on the way or even stay at if you know anyone there. St. Catherines especially really struck me because apart from the art inside I was so impressed by the small part of the church that had been turned into a museum, exhibiting whatever had been excavated from in front of the church around 2005. There were two skull reconstructions and 3D construction of how those people looked. Then some toys, potsherds, remnant from tombs etc.

Very nice stained glass work. A fairly decent structure in size with very tidy and well managed interior. A pleasant overall atmosphere inside and not too crowded or too visited, which is a perk during holidays if you do visit.

Beautiful, classic cathedral with lovely architecture and an old world vibe. Theres a bonus "mini-museum" inside with artifacts found in recent restoration efforts. I found the full skeleton and skulls on display a bit creepy, but fascinating.

The church is a very iconic Eindhoven landmark. It is well worth a visit.Please read whats written on the glass panes in front of the church and peak into them. You cant unknow that.Its next to a lot of eateries, the fashion shopping area, and the bars and nightclubs of Eindhoven. Quite a location for a church I must say.

The double steeple church in the centrum of Eindhoven. Just a little more then 100 years old. A newer church with an old look. In the front of the church one will find viewing windows that shows a few skeletons of people who loved on this area 1000 years ago.

Its a beautiful church. There are ruins under a glass floor right infront of the entrance of the church. Most people miss out on that fact. I especially love to visit the church when the bells are ringing and the sounds of the bells resonate so beautifully inside giving it a very etherial feel. Beautiful church with some artefacts from old time. When I visited it, beautiful songs were played and I recognized most of them.

Very pretty church from the outside at least, didnt get to go inside this time. There is lots of space outside for kids to play - lots of kids were doing skateboarding and jumping down the steps, looked like they were having a lot of fun. Its an impressive building and worth seeing.

Nice and beautiful, I did see a sign that claimed their leader to had been the beginning and end of all science. Factually inaccurate, but important to remember where we have evolved from.

Lovely Cathedral in the city centre. Usually a very crowded location but the view is just stunning. Would also recommend going inside where you can feel the energy of this amazing building.

This is a good place to visit for anyone visiting Eindhoven. The church is an icon of the history of the city. The architecture is simple and beautiful. Inside and around the church its very clean and family friendly. For those seeking some silence and time to pray, rest or reflect in the middle of Eindhoven, this is a good place. There are some art and history exhibits in the church that you might also enjoy.

Very beautiful church. Its very big and inside you can find many historical items, not only from the church itself but also bones, skulls, skeletons, knives from medieval knights and people who lived before in the same ground. You can also find the first blueprints of the church with lots of details, which is a very interesting thing to see.It is located in the very centrum, with many shops and places to have lunch or dinner in the surroundings. If you are visiting the Netherlands, this is a must.

This is a lovely church.I sometimes give it a visit since they have different expositions inside.They have a board close to the entrance where people ask for whishes which is lovely to see and you can also wrote yours.The Glow festival its also super nice to see every year.

Very old church with amazing glass windows. There’s a little museum inside and visitors are allowed to enter and see them for free.

Quiet. Peaceful. Dim, but that helps show off the stained glass windows; which are amazing! I really appreciated the small display of the archeological dig conducted several years ago. And, as always with old churches, the construction details are fascinating.

Beautiful church with alotnor history to it. Lots of amenities surrounding it, shops, restaurants and shopping centres. The have over 2000 people buried beneath it. They have 500 year old skeletons on display in church with coins and other artifacts. Worth seeing.
