Jane Austen's parents were married in this Episcopal church from 1790, offering services & a cafe.
Spacious airy church of simple design with toilets and a garden pre COVID there was a great cafe downstairs but no sign of it reopening yet.
Its a beautiful building inside.
Not the prettiest church in Bath but historically important for any Jane Austen fan. Rev. George Austen, Jane’s father, is buried here.
Grew up going to this church and found it very unwelcoming. Attending a service to celebrate the life of my brother. However, not one of the two vicars approached me or my brother to either welcome us or speak about our dead brother. If this is the direction that the church is heading, then l feel more will choose a different path.
Very lovely church.
Friendly, inclusive and amazing worship and Bible teaching!
A truly beautiful church. Inside and out.
Great history and acoustics, interesting to read all the memorials that line the walls.
A friendly church with good community links
Bath has so many churches all magnificent
So much history here. Jane Austins parents married here, her father us buried here. William Wilburforce also married his wife here. Great new cafe in the crypt.
Jane Austens dad is buried here
Worth a visit
Absolutely stunning must-see Georgian church
Found out that some of my wifes ancestors went to this church and were married there. We went by to see it and although the church was closed, we found some church workers who were preparing for a Sunday event. They allowed us to walk around inside and see the gravestones all around the inside of the church (the church was also a crypt in the pastand see if we could find any ancestors buried there. They were so kind to let us in even though we were strangers visiting from 6000 miles away!
Good historical place
Very bad customer care only a half valeted car only seemed interested in selling us a new car or a lease rather than helping us and answering our questions l wouldnt use them again
Did not get time to go inside but stunning building too look at
Lovely singing and preaching,I felt some church goers were not so engaging as soon as they new we were just visiting. They did not know the friends we were visiting despite they were attending this church for more than a year,Other members of the church where great and welcoming therefore just 3 stars.
Stunning church with Austen connections. Friendly and welcoming CofE community. Would recommend to anyone.
A very friendly church.
from photo cool
Unusual Italianate church, where Jane Austens parents got married. Good acoustics for singing, cafe facilities in basement. I dont know about it as a church.
Beautiful Church.

Lively and friendly church!
Nice quiet space, good tea room.
Quiet time ... lovely
Nice cafe, lovely staff with community feel, good value food. A few toys, perfect to amuse my 2 year over lunchtime.
