St Pierre's Sushi - Sushi restaurant in Waitakere, New Zealand
Easily some of the freshest sushi I have had in years.I like Saint Pierres in general but often it is not the freshest. To be expected with a high volume chain store, but across 2 visits, this branch is strikingly fresh.
Excellent service and high quality food!
3/5 just like how much filling was in the sushi roll. Stop capping the end pieces with only rice!
Try it, you’ll love it!
went there with my partner for a snack. The girl was taking our order but then she changed to another girl I dont know why anyway she didnt understand my order and I needed to repeat my order. I heard they are talking in Japanese as I do understand and speak Japanese and I told her you can speak to me in Japanese but she didnt .... strange...Awkward...The food was ok but rice is like a rice cake sticky and chewy my partner tried chicken katsu don, but it was too salty. When we were eating, one girl ( black long hair, Asiancame out from the back kitchen maybe her break. Her uniform was not clean and her Nike shoes are dirty... imagine she was making sushi... I felt disgusted and sick... eww ( some guy here left a review, “found the hair in it” ... Sick... I might eat it already...I dont recommend this place and their sushi if you are looking for lunch or snacks or also looking for "Japanese" sushi please dont waste your money!! Save it for nice places to eat not here.
nice sushi and good staff.
Very nice
Been to this branch today. Worst experience ever for shushi. Ordered Chicken and Tofu Donburi. Found the hair in Chicken one. The donburi was not made same as other branch. No veges jyst a few cucumber and beans. When told staff boy at counter said sorry. But the lady behind was so rude. Never going there back.
Normal purchase for Sushi Monday. Very busy today👍😎
Small size sushi and sashimi compared to other branches of St. Pierres. Doesnt do other branches justice and ruins the brand. Use to be up there like other branches, but seems to be skimping on their product now.
The team here are FANTASTIC! They always create quality food and are super friendly! (They remember my order every time!Thank you Westgate team!
Really rude Chinese man at the counter. Horrible made to order stuff. Worst branch of st Pierre’s sushi - don’t waste your time and money!
Worst sushi ever. Made me sick and vomited it all back up
Have always had lovely customer service here . My toddler son loves the avocado snack packs and we love the veggie tempura sushi. Not available at all sushi stores so this is our sushi spot for great veggie tempura
Its pretty good not a lot of places to sit outside but otherwise ok
Plenty of parking and wheelchair friendly
Absolutely shocking. The food was garbage, the manager was rude to say the least, and overall this place is unpleasant. Wouldve given 0/5 if able to do so. Never coming back, so disappointed.
Great sushi. A little expensive.
Not bad as far as St Pierres stores go, had better had worse.
Disappointed with the hygiene and service.Bins were full of rubbish and tables were dirty. Workers were just chatting behind counter.
Not all St Pierres are created equal, this store is always awesome !
Keep getting ripped off by these guys. They should change their name to "St Pierres Saucy Rice of Japan", because thats all you get - RICE. One gets a small sliver of chicken breast with the Katsu or Teriyaki chicken, the rest is tons of rice and sauce. Other sushi options arent any different. Small pieces of fish or meat, heaps of rice. My last time buying there today.
My grandchildren dont have whats on offer, so Sushi staff, Westgate are always willing to make them what they want.
St Pierres is reliable and consistent. Im always assured of healthy take-out when I visit.
Delicious food, plenty of choice and the staff are lovely
Always delicious sushi and they follow protocols and check Covid pass!
I absolutely love the vegan sunfed chicken sushi! So tasty and my favourite vegan sushi to eat. Thank you St Pierres for having a range of vegan options.
Love this place. Always friends and happy to help. Will make stuff fresh for you which my partner loved when she was pregnant. Always get what you expect when you go here!
We would love to support our local businesses but expect some respect from you guys too.The sushi had no cucumbers or capsicum, rice was undercooked and was $2 more than before lockdown prices. Its just not fair ripping people off just because you had to close down for few weeks.Thats disrespecting the clients who go extra mile to come and support your business.
I love St pierrs... No matter what store I go to... The sushi is always fresh and made well.. Also very tasty..The customer service is professional yet friendly. . I used to get the smoked salmon melt with avacado.. But I now enjoy the Dragon rolls... Super delicious and I just love their sushi all round.. 😊👍
very busy had to wait for my sushi to be made but its fresh
It was really nice to find great Sushi in this location, easy parking and they offered to make anything on the menu not on display. You can eat in. Would recommend.
Always a wonderful place to grab sushi, nothing is to much trouble. Great staff.
My wife and I have been coming here for a few years now. Haven’t been disappointed yet, and we are critical foodies too! Service is friendly, and the quality and freshness of the food is A+.
Sushi is very dry and too salty. There advertisement is horrible and annoying. Worst sushi store in the planet. Any loans
Great sushi place with good service. Only giving 2 stars because of the amount of plastic in which the food is sold. Even if you are dining in its all served in plastic containers and it is a shame for the environment. That sometimes makes me skip my sushi and grab another meal somewhere else.Hope you guys come up with a more environment friendly way to serve your food and mind for our nature.
Always friendly staff. Food is delicious and fresh. The chicken on rice is a great and quick lunch or dinner option for people requiring gluten free options.
Does what it says on the box. Just what I have come to expect from St. Pierres Sushi...Never disappoints and is a good go-to for a lunch on the road. 😄
Great value for money, nice thing about the franchise is the consistency in their range and the quality that you can expect to find at different outlets.
The second time today when we came here, the waitress threw the chopsticks on to the table as of we are dogs. I could slap her on the face but my kindness is a virtue. Not going to visit this place again.
Great service and very well made sushi. Very polite and ready to make your sushi to order. Get your loyalty card ready :)
Without a doubt simply my favorite sushi place in West Auckland yet! Great customer service, great prices and simply fresh every time I got my meal. They get 4 stars from me, as I think with the big beautiful windows could use a tint or shade, as the sun piercing through can spoil dinning in experience. Overall still my favorite place!
At this time the store was very busy, with queues to the door. This moved very quickly however. Some sushi was pre-packaged and others could be ordered over the counter. This was also very quick. They offer .30c off if you bring in your own container for take away sushi.
Highly recommended. Plenty of options and staff are friendly and helpful. If Im looking for a healthy lunch option I go here.
I am not sure what has gone wrong, but for the last month at Northwest, the portion sizes seem to have shrank on the double decker and the katsu chicken on rice. As a regular customer to st pierres sushi, I am not satisfied. Not a case with any other area Ive been getting it from, but Northwest you should up your game, as paying for a finger size chicken on dry rice is ridiculous. Got photos as well. Shame!
Very expensive. I had half the brown rice and they still charged me the extra for having brown rice. Prawns were zingy, Salmon sashimi was warm and sushi tasted strange. no one ate ....50 dollars of food in the bin. Will not be back to St Lukes St Pierres. North West far better, nicer sushi and friendlier people . They are outside the Mall.
Really good sushi and lovely staff. Very welcoming and accommodating and food is really nice. Prices arent too bad for what you get also.
They didnt have the sushi my children eat readily available, however were able to make it which was great because they got to watch it being made. Homemade sushi turns into a mess so the kids were able to try and master their own at home after the live viewing
Nice, healthy and quick service. Consistent tasting food as with all St Pierres sushi chains. Friendly staff and the store is localized centrally in the northwest mall development. Plenty of parking and good for quick easy visits. Good variety of sushi and Japanese meals.
I liked the simple easy set up modern smaller than the malls more cozy and intimate they have a high chair and wheel chair access and table facility.Nice instrumental soft music playing while eating.
