MoreLovely space. Very prayerful and right beside the national park.
A beautiful castle, but I wasnt a fan of their ideologies.
Lovely mass with my wife and 2 grandchildren on a recent trip
A beautiful Cathedral and quiet place of prayer.
Designed by Pugin this well known Catholic, Gothic style cathedral was opened in 1855. Building started in 1842 but got interrupted during the famine when it had to be used as a hospital.

The land mark Cathedral of Killarney, 300ft in height which is equal to the highest depth of the lake. A must visit place while in Killarney.
MoreOne of the most beautiful Cathedrals in all of Ireland !!
Beautiful building. Altar visible from each area thanks to in house camera and screens. Can be a little cool in Winter. Accessed easily from Killarney town and Park.
MorePicturesque cathedral with tall ceilings and lovely painted windows. It’s a massive church with lots of space. Must visit if around the area.
MoreCritical mass, Im always critical of mass... But if you need some high ceilings and sweet architecture.. this is the place for you. Cleanse your soul and dont forget to cleanse your hands.. there is sanitizer there if you forget. Cleanliness is ... Um.. something or other?
MoreBeautiful cathedral, beautiful stain glass, and sequoia tree from California. must visit.

MoreQuite modern but quite impressive cathederal on the edge of the National Park. Certainly worth a visit.
MoreA peaceful yet fantastic building respecting daily visitors in prayer. Inside is just breath taking and although visted by passing tourists to Killarney is also the communities place of worship. One of towns many crowning jewels it offers. Situated across one of the entrances to the National Park visit Deenah Lodge for cup a tea and observe St Marys full splender and magnificent presence in the Killarney skyline. Highly recommended. MoreI picked it for my daughters christening on the 12th of September coming. Its a beautiful old style cathedral. Its a simply breathtaking church to look at and all the staff and priests are very nice and helpfull
MoreWithin 5 minutes walk from the centre of Town, this Magnificent Church stands. Building started in 1842 and wasnt completed until 1914. The Cathedral is truly a Masterpiece to be viewed in awe standing 285 feet high. Its beautiful stained glass windows, exposed wood rafters and round stone columns cut from limestone has to be viewed to be appreciated. One could easily loose track of time upon seeing and entering St. Marys Cathedral designed by Augustus Welby Pugin. A must place to visit while in Killarney and will be remembered long after.
MoreLovely Cathedral in Kilarney well worth a visit a lot of history behind it
Im not what you would call a religious person but I have said a few prayers here! Sometimes I come here just for the peace before heading into the National park just over the road!
MoreIrelands tallest cathedral, beautifully restored, worth a visit
We stopped as a spur of the moment sight see, this Cathedral is beautiful and became our favorite that we were able to check out. Beautiful inside with lots of reflection places for prayer and candle lighting.
MoreSo rich in history and beauty. Acoustics are amazing for choirs.
Beautiful church Also located next to a park.
I was lucky enough to be in Belfast on a Sunday and happened by the cathedral. We listen to some of the sermon and then the choir started to sing, and it was just pure beauty. If you knew me you would know that Im not a person that gets emotional, but I actually started tearing up listening to how beautiful the choir sounded in that space. It was a memory I will never forget.
MoreThe Cathedral was different than the ones we have in Malta. Heard Sunday 10.30am mass in St Marys Cathedral and we loved the short and to the point, the bishop speech.
MoreBeautiful building from outside and inside. Inside the walls were made from rocks, same as outside. Huge open area inside, not easy to get good acoustic. Would prefer to be given text or displyed on the projector screens.
MoreBeautiful and well worth the stop
Absolutely stunning place, has a free car park all week so if youre staying for a long period this will be the best place to use as its right next to the main high street. Definitely recommend looking inside, there are some beautiful stained glass windows.
MoreSuch an example of finest architecture, wonderfully preserved, surrounded by other few fabulous old buildings. There is lot of beautiful little rabbits running around in the evenings when is quiet. There is a car park beside it.
MoreBeautiful Cathedral, of cut limestone. Amazing high ceilings and elegant windows.
MoreNice stop on the way to the park. You can even go inside. Majestic building.
Absolutely beautiful! Amazing stone arches & stained glass windows.
Beautiful place. Heard Sunday Catholic Mass here.
Lovely building, I went there with few friends was the only church opened on January. Free entrance, amazing building indeed.
MoreFinished at the peak of the age of stonework- and it very much shows. Late 1800s was an era of machine tools, and ability to produce (cut stone, for exampleen masse: but with hand assembly. This Church is a gothic reproduction only the Art Nouveau age could produce. Note the high arcade arches, pillar work with bevel cut stone and fitment of stones of various lights into a masterwork assemblage that deserves a visit. No Charge for entrance
MoreGorgeous Cathedral. Definitely worth taking the time to visit while in Killarney.
MoreFantastic personal faith experience. Beautiful and well maintained church.
Attended Friday mass here while in Ireland! A wonderful service and gorgeous chapel!
