St Louis Bubble Tea - Bubble tea store in Ballwin, United States
I ordered 3 boba teas, my husbands tea had a baby cockroach in it “. He took a sip and bit into it and spit it out. Gross.
Best bubble tea in the greater St.Louis area
I love this place for Bubble tea. So good!
I used to work here and the food and drinks were great, but there was mold growing in the blenders, cockroaches in the cabinets, and the manager has some serious anger issues and appeared aggressive with his wife and children several times over my employment. Hopefully changes are made, but be aware of potential health concerns
The boba was not heated all the way. It was very tough boba.Since this was my first time I will give it another try. But for now only one star.Sept 29,2022:I have since went back a 2nd time (& 3rd, 4th, 5th... lost track! ).It must have been a fluke or maybe a new person working, but the boba has been cooked enough to be soften to the right consistency every time since after the first. They offer a variety of flavors and combos. Something for everyone. Its a great place to get milk teas and now they even offer dessert breads! Havent tried any yet but will definitely
The milk tea here and boba are my favorite of all time. I come here after work all the time!
Do not call. They will put you on hold forever. I was on hold three times and I can hear them just talking. Putting a phone order option is misleading.
Milk with powdered creamer was all I got with my drink. No taste of jasmine tea whatsoever. I’ve ordered this drink several times before and never had any issues. Different female worker making it
I was first introduced to Bubble Tea in Taiwan in 2004. I would go multiple times a day to the Bubble Tea stand to get a Passion Fruit Slush. For the longest time, I was out of luck finding anything close here in the area. Ive tried a number of them at various locations (stands in malls, Chinese restaurants, etc& nothing compares. Yet, St. Louis Bubble Tea nails it. Pure perfection & JUST like the originals in Taiwan. Definitely worth the 25 minute drive from my house to get there.
One word! AWESOME! Best chinese take out i. St louis. Could easily eat this meal and have left overs for lunch
Boba was amazing!! Thank you to the dude who made it!! Definitely recommend
The guy that helped me out was amazing. I came before it was a decent experience but this time was mind blowing. He gave my daughter a sample because last time she didnt like the drink that we paid for. She absolutely loved it!
Dirty restaurant, not very friendly, and mostly just not a nice experience. I was afraid of getting food poisoning honestly.
I love this place. It has that "hole in the wall" feel, while being absolutely fantastic. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and theyre great at helping describe the flavors and making sure you get something you like. Very inexpensive. They do have a dining area inside if you choose to hang out.
Easy to order and got beverage quickly. I tried the mocha blast with boba
So good, but so many choices, its hard to decide what to get.
If you want to have some of the best drink and food. Yep. Bubble tea. The crab Rangoon are some of my all time favorite coupled with a vanilla snow bobba!Oh so good -. Great now I want one lol. Be prepared to wait. This place is always busy:)
I have them on speed dial ahead of my husband ❤ they also just got new sweet buns in that are to die for. Highly recommend the strawberry buns
Cashier was very helpful. Made suggestions and explained menu items. Definitely be back.
I’ve been here twice. Last time I went I ordered a jasmine milk tea and it had a weird plastic flavor and I couldn’t finish it. Honestly if you want better boba just 10 minutes away try Yummy House. It’s a smaller selection but they have much better quality drinks for a better price too.
This place is a hit and miss place. one time the service is great other times its terrible. one time the cashier was counting coins while I was ordering and It was my first time here and he was not very helpful at all and seem to not wanna be there and so ready to go home. I did not know that you can adjust the amount of sugar as well as the size but he did not told me anything other than getting my order and taking my money. I dont think i am coming back here again. also It is overpriced.
I come to this place often, and I love it so much. The employee are so nice and one employee has even memorized the orders! (mine atleastthe popping boba is amazing and so is the tea! By far, one of the best places Ive been to!
Love the food here although it seems most come for the boba. While their food menu isnt expansive, it offers enough options to suit most. There is a huge drink menu, covering everything from boba to slushies to snows to hot drinks.Their fried rice has that fresh off the fire taste (wok cooked over an open flame). Crab rangoons are happily stuffed with a nice taste of crab (or "crab"and a bit of sweetness.Would love to see plain fried rice offered. The chicken dishes can sometimes be a bit tough (but I still order them). Portion sizes are plentiful. At least in the past, this place was very opposed to photos of their menu being taken (the reason we were given is that "competitors want to steal [their] menu"). They dont offer paper menus and also dont have a website with their menu.Aside from that quirk, employees have always been very friendly, helpful / attentive, and always polite.
Amazing place! They have a huge selection of drinks and food. They dont have dine in at the moment and they do require a mask. It is a great place, I try to get there as often as possible.
The guy making the bubble tea seemed very slow, disorganized and flustered. He served two people who ordered after us and that took him five minutes so I had to ask when well get our order. Several people walked out because they were fed up with the wait time. When he got around to making it, it took 1 minute.Ill give it two stars because the bubble tea at least tasted good. Otherwise, the service was atrocious.
Their bubble tea is average overall. They could more consistent with the taste of their boba and some of their drinks. But overall their drinks are pretty good! Their fruit slushees are a little bit to sweet, but then again, it is a fruit slushy so it’s expected to be on the sweeter side. Their customer service is amazing, and the staff is usually kind to the customers. Personally whenever I go their I order their spicy chai tea or their taro tea with boba, and that’s really good. If it’s your first time going I would definitely recommend trying their milk teas. Their food though, in my personal opinion isn’t the best, but then again it isn’t really their specialty. Overall this is a good bubble tea shop and I would recommend trying it out. Have a nice day!
Great selection of boba and juice pearlsAny selection of drink you can imagine from regular bubble tea to snow.Wide range of Chinese dishes and appetizer foods. We love it
Huge selection of bubble tea! Good selection of food. Only got some boba and loved it!!!
I love going here for bubble tea. I usually get strawberry or mango milk tea, with regular boba or popping ones. I have never been disappointed.
I ordered beef noodle soup and had left overs. I never removed the food from the take out container. When I reheated my leftovers and went to eat them there was a baby cockroach attached to my Noodle (as pictured). I called and told the employee the situation, she replied "well we dont have roaches here". She did offer a refund and I declined. I wanted to share my experience since they are apparently unaware of the roaches in their facilities.
The food and tea was great as usual. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and did an excellent job of making sure my large order was correct. Will be back soon.
A small family owned bubble tea location in the county that has a variety of flavors and very nice owners. Been a long time customer and glad they are going strong as a great local business.
Ive only ever had their bubble tea. its the best Ive had, but some of the workers put hardly any ice and its not the most appetizing when its room temperature.
The tea was very good, it kinda made me think of cigarette taste (but I liked it ?). The boba was very tasty. We also got seasoned fries and boy those were spicy, I wasnt expecting them to be but they were still pretty good.
Nice place. Its a bit small and theres no place to sit inside. The menu is a bit overwhelming. I got a chocolate milk tea for the first time and it was pretty good.
Very nice little shop :). Love how much they care about upkeeping COVID policies since we’re still in a pandemic. There was only one employee when I went and she was definitely busy but she did so good for being alone! All my applause to her!
First time here with the children. No noodle dishes were available. We had the beef and chicken fried rice, both were good. I had lemon green tea with lychee popping boba and it was quite refreshing. Daughter had a banana milk tea with boba she enjoyed and son mango green tea with boba.
Great service and good fried rice! The boba was a little slimy and did not seem as fresh. A little powdery too but it couldve just been the flavor I got. If you get the orange chicken or sesame chicken, be wary of the packaging if ordering to-go. The sauce spills everywhere in the bag. Overall, I was pleased with my visit and just wanted to share those small concerns. I will definitely be back if Im in the area!
The girl who took our order was just so sweet. She answered all of our questions. Their drinks were fantastic we love the snow boba Its so delicious. Unfortunately they were at a strawberry but we got the peach and it was delicious.
Got the Thai tea and its usually very sweet other places, but, here they had a very good balance, one of the best Thai teas Ive had. I took away a star because of how long it took to get a tea. There were two people waiting outside (social distancingso I can only guess two orders before me, but for some reason, it took almost 20 minutes. One guy left with 4 teas and the other with 2, not sure what happened there. I will definitely try again!
Ordered lychee black tea and two milk teas and the milk tea tasted really watery and more like coffee than tea the boba was really inconsistent and some wasnt completely cooked definitely not my favorite
Mango green tea was great for this summer day. Service seemed very slow for cooked food. Kid friendly.
I frequent the bubble tea location in the delmar loop, but beause our office is closer to this location, we ordered here. huge mistake. My bubble tea smoothie was runny, too much boba... the chicken wings were brown on the inside and looked old or like the chicken was on crack. We explained that the food we received was inedible and we were basically told that they didnt care. After going back and forth with the OWNER, she finally agreed to replace the items. We sent a coworker back to exchange the items and they were told by the Bubble tea owner and her huisband that theyd rather refund us for the food and that they didnt want out business. We were on a lunch break, so its bad enough we drove there and received horrible food and couldnt eat, but then to think that we would be able to eat replacement food -only to be told that they didnt want our business was just a slap in the face. Our whole office orders food from there, and we send different people in each time to retrieve the orders, but this visit turned our whole office OFF! If you want good bubble tea, go to the one in the Delmar loop! The food and service is way better!
I love bubble tea and went to the Loop location a lot when I was younger. They have a lot of flavor options and drinks are served very quickly.Im pleased that they have more locations now. My only "complaint" is that there isnt a location closer to my home in Florissant.
Pretty awesome. I got thr Jasmine Milk Tea size large. Awesome. I just WISH they had the sea salt cream topping that is trending in Japan. It would up the tea game here so much!!!
The workers are always very nice. The food takes a little while, but its pretty good.
Their drinks are MOSTLY ICE and service is very slow. Don’t waste your time or money. Straws are not covered in paper wrapping so everyone touches the straws. Yuck.Manager was very rude and told me I should be more specific about asking for less ice.The only reason they have customers is lack of competition. I think Boba tea stores are the next money maker in St. Louis! I see a great opportunity.
Best Chinese food in the area, by far. Food is always fresh and doesnt feel greasy. Lo Mein is a favorite. Drink options are endless. Love this place.
Spicy fried chicken is fantastic and unique promise you will love it. The soups are homemade and taste great the broth is very light. The bubble tea is delicious as well. The interior is lacking alot but it is fine for a simple lunch outing. Enjoy and dont hesitate to try it out.
Drinks are sooo yummy, and the place is nice and homey!! Very fast and on the go. I love it!! Its super sweet and good for the hot summer.
