Across the street from a high-end shopping centre, this modest hostel above a bar is 1.7 miles from Kensington Palace and 7.8 miles from the Museum of London.Private rooms and shared dorms with bunk beds are available; there's also a female-only dorm. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and lockers (a padlock can be purchased at the reception desk). Some rooms have en suite bathrooms.Continental breakfast is free, as are city walking tours. The restaurant/bar serves casual pub food. There's also guest lounge with ping pong.
You can use locker after check-in
For that amount of money spent in hostel or in bar id expect at least a basic of customer service. Next time i will spend my money where i do feel welcomed.
I reserved once for 5 days. The first day I wasnt able to check in because I was still in Paris. I called the hostel to that is Ill come the next day! Someone told its okay! And the charged my account straight away for the 5 days. I turned up the next check in and the guy from the reception told me that the hostel is full and no bed available. He told me Ill get a refund in the next 7 days . Been more than 2 weeks and Im still waiting for my refund!
Unfortunately this hostel was the only one that still had beds available for us. Everything was smelling really bad, the rooms are tiny and one night, another guest (manhad access to our room with his keycard, even though it was a women’s dorm. The only nice thing about this place is that it is well connected to public transport.
There is mold in the rooms. The bathroom cabins are almost falling apart. A lot other things aren‘t in a good condition as well. No privacy given. Three times people were walking in our room, twice the staff but without knocking while we were changing and one time the visitor who rented the room later. While we were sleeping they allowed him to leave his stuff in our room.
Nice place, they charged me a two euro deposit by card, lets see how it will go during the week.
Good price center of london staff was great bathroom were not clean and room bed very uncorfortable
St. Christopher’s Inn was the perfect location. Across the street from the train and a block from the venue I was attending a concert at. I will definitely be back!
People were so helpful , direct website got the room for 23 GBP . BATHROOM and rooms was neat .
Avran made my night by helping me print my visa documents. Sofia was great at the bar!! Amazing team!!!
It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I must admit that I expected a little more cleaning and a little more comfort. The windows in my room were broken, so the street noise was like it was inside the room all night, the fan was too loud, and the room was smelly and hot. The crew, on the other hand, is extremely helpful.
3 tier Coffin-like dorm beds, despite misleading photos online. Windows that dont open all the way, so youre going to be sharing a room with the maximum number of people that could possibly fit. They refused refunds for a room that basically isnt habitable. Avoid at all costs.
Loved this hostel. Alexandria was the best! She made the bar fun for all of us and made the best drinks. The bar is a fun place to meet other people.
For a hostel its overall clean and in central London very handy. Rooms I have given a 2 as the bunk bed in our room was comfortable. Room had not been cleaned, staff however were great in getting it sorted. However coming back late at night after being out only one quilt had been left so had to go down to the pub where you check in for another. Communal showers and toilets were clean. Staircase up to rooms is very dated and the room we had the wallpaper was hanging off the ceiling. Breakfast was included and was of a continental type with cereals also. Very fresh and as was included in our price acceptable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, that I could not fault .
stayed here on a recent event trip through EU/UK - stood out from the others. Clean, friendly - at an insane value - Simon checked us in past midnight - and was there first thing the next morning for check out just before 7AM. These dudes work hard to make your stay comfortable. It’s a 6 bedroom hostel - not an exclusive resort - if you need to crash for the night - book here.
Very well located and very nice staff. Our room was confortable and clean and the mattresses were very good. Unfortunately the shared bathroom and toilets were dirty and smelly, even in the female bathroom (where everybody could go in by the way)Thankfully we had a sink in our room so it didn’t bothered us.
Nice location, some of the guest wasn’t very friendly but the gentleman who works in the cleaning team was very attentive and helpful. I pretend to be back soon.
Worst hostel ever. Theres some great staffs (2 or 3), but some of them are rude and stupid. The room is broken and smells bad, AVOID THIS PLACE... I never be back!
Worst stay in hostel ever.Dirty toilets and bathroom with urine odor. Room is dusty and sketchy. I was supposed to stay there for 5 nights but with such an unbearable living condition, I decided to leave on the next day.
Just wanted to take the time to say a huge thank you to the amazing staff at Shepherds Bush. Been staying down here for work since December. Always arriving late Sunday evening and departing early Friday morning always was made to feel welcome. We stayed in a six bed the first week then booked a four bed as there was three of us. Was easy to make group booking and often the staff placed people in other rooms so we were able to have the room to ourselves. We always came to clean rooms fresh bedding and decent facilities. The thing which made it the brilliant experience which it was is definitely the staff and management. Knew us all by name felt personal and always had a laugh with us when we were down in the bar especially on karaoke night. You definitely meet some interesting people in the hostel from people peeing the bed above you to amazing Finnish girls who you spend most your time at the hostel with.On behalf of Reece and the guys cheers you were all brilliant and we look forward to staying here again if we get dragged back to London 😂
Overheated communal area and rooms. Even when opening window the room is humid and still so hot. Id recommended to lower it down a bit and from the saved energy bill buy a 1 decent working fridge.

Good dorms but very thigth in space. Lockers in dorm faulty,, would not close properly. The place could do well with manager.
Lovely clean and open rooms, with very comfortable beds and a plug to charge you’re phone. Very convenient location situated just opposite Westfield shopping centre, great for tourists. Customer service very polite and attentive, lovely staff who take care of all you’re needs.
listen, i tried to go into this with an open mind. it took me 45 minutes to check in, was roomed with people who are definitely not in a sound state of mind, broken and dirty toilets, the glasses in the bar downstairs were dirty and service was extremely slow. i ended up leaving 2 days early. 2 stars because the cleaning staff were nice and theres a useful terrace up the top if you want some fresh air but generally would only reccomend if you have no other options.
It’s what can be expected for a hostel.Free continental breakfast if booked directly. It’s next to a busy street and depending which room you get, it can be quite loud in early morning. The cleaning staff can also be quite loud and do not greet when entering the room. The beds are also quite small. If you get the middle or lowest bed from the bunk, expect not being able to sit straight if you’re taller than 5’4.Showers on the first floor are quite good, but very different compared to the 2nd floor.Towels have to be ‘rented’ for £10, and if returned you get £8 back. The same with the keycard (£2).The hangout room is nice and cozy, they have games, and activities almost every night in Belushi Bar.Great discounts and extremely nice staff at Belushi Bar downstairs if you’re a guest of the hostel.
