Very friendly with customersFast delivery good and healthy foodPure vegetarian hotelBest food with delicious taste and selections available
The place needs to be more cleaner
Good food. They have lots of indian style foods like masala dosa, onion dosa, paper dosa and etc. Especially vegetarian foods are good. They have good hospitality skills.
Specially recommended for vegetarians | only Vegetarians | Good hospitality | Highly recommended
Great tasting food at reasonable prices.
Top class service and food. staff is kind and hygiene, Overall super tidy place and definitely coming back for more
One of best vegetarian hotel at BEB
Amazing lunchtime rice and curry buffet with dessert. Well be back again to try the recommended dosa :)
Tasty Vegetarian foods.... for nominal rates, perfect place for vegetarian breakfast and dinner. Meals served in hot.
Delicious food with reasonable prices. Specially place 💯 clean and fast service. I was tried onion ghee masal dosai and onion uthappam wooww its amazing. They are Opening day only....
You can have authentic Indian food here. This is a vegetarian restaurant. Situated in nice place. They have vegetarian Thali, Dosa, Vade
Good vegetarian hotel 🏨 food also good .great customer service and clean 👌
Ghee Dosai was absolutely delicious, one of the culinary highlights of Sri Lanka
The food was absolutely horrible. The standards have gone down and my bill which was supposed to be 1450 was put as 1650. And they dont put the prices in the bill. Just the amount. So we asked them to list down the prices of everything and it took them 15 minutes bcoz try had tried to cheat us. This place sucks. If there was an option I would not even give one star
We had best Indian Foods at this restaurant.Prices are reasonable. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff.
Different types of vegetarian dishes are available but not much tasty
Its the best Veg Restaurant in Batticaloa. You can find both south & north Indian foods, however, north Indian foods also taste like south Indian. Works are very smart and friendly. They care customer kindly and very fast. Good loaction. Best place to get summer Dinner with your family.
Krishna Cafe is a famous vegetarian restaurant in Batticaloa. This restaurant has a nice lagoon view.In Krishna Cafe we can get vegetable kothu, chilli parota ect. Good place to visit with family and friends.
Nice view. A quite place. Good for vegetarian food. Food are not very tasty compare to other veg restaurants. But eatable. Budget friendly restaurant. But Slow service. Staffs are confusing. Again and again asking us what did you ordered?
Never ever get chapati. Worst. Should be old, they great and give. Its so hard and non eatable
Best place to enjoy a pure vegetarian meal. Dosai and wada are tast and also very good service.
Great food (South Indian disheswith quick service and a smile. Popular with locals to dine in or takeaway. Cheap but good place and clean. Menu in English although I looked at what the group beside was eating and ordered the same because my knowledge of South Indian food is very limited. Recommend the dosa, masala tea and small desert.
Foods are ok and price is reasonable. But they dont have enough sanitory facilities for customers. Only one washroom is there for both male and female. Also you can have only vegetable food from there.
The best Vegetarian food in town. Located in front of the lagoon. Beautiful view with a quite place. Really good for vegan lovers. I been many times & love their foods. Finger licking taste. Highly recommended Vegan restaurant in Batticaloa.
Delicious food and warm welcome.
Sri Krishna cafe is located in front of the Batticaloa lagoon. It is a vegetarian restaurant with varieties of Indian food available for reasonable prices. Staff are very helpful and provides a good and friendly customer service. Place recommended.
The food here is good, so is the staff. Only vegetarian options available. Good place to have a meal in Batticaloa.
One of the best Sri Lankan restaurants we have been to over the last six months. Clean, very reasonably priced (payed 660 rupees for a big meal for 2 peopleand most of all, the food was absolutely delicious. Also, our waiter was very friendly, attentive, quick and made some great recommendations regarding the food and drink. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Batti!!!
It is a vegetarian restaurant situated in batticaloa. And it located near beautiful water resources
Good place for vegetarians.... Quality and taste of the food is much better... Vast seating for groups.... Highly recommended....
A good plce for pure vegetarian - less spicy - south indian meals. Its a river side dine in restaurent. Waiting time is usual but the fresh making Dosa is worth for wait. Reasonable price. No weelchair access. Very neat amd tidy space. Recommended for Masala Dosa, Othappam, Uzundu Vade, poori and the traditional string hoppers and sambol
Pros :1.clean vegetarian authentic batticaloa food.2. Friendly and quick service.3. 5 adults had very good breakfast for Rs.1000.Cons :1. bit crowded around 8-9.30 am2. Their ala bonda is sweet rather than spicy, quite strange.Tips : go for masala tea and masala dosa.
Serves only vegetarian food but even if you aint a vegetarian, foods are absolutely delicious. Been there more than couple of times, never got disappointed. (Masala dosa was excellent). Highly recommend. Only Con - evenings are busy.
Delicious food. We had the lunch buffet, which was a choice of 3 types of rice, 3 curries, poppadom, a small donut-shaped bread thing and a refreshing dessert. The restaurant is very popular with locals getting takeaway food.
The service is slow , but the food is really really good. I love eating dosa . They dont have a wide range of food selections. They have parking facilities but the restaurant is always crowded( especially in Fridays and poya daysso its hard to get a place to park and to get a seat. They dont have a wide space to park. And the interior is bit disturbing. You feel like you are sitting in a oven. They dont have A.C. (bit disturbing right?)
Sri krishan cafe located in front of Lagoon andIt’s the most famous vegetarian restaurant in battialoa . Food service is very good specially ittly, ulundu vadai, dosi and much more items to taste. But only one problem that is sometimes bad smells coming from the death plants under lagoon. How ever it’s a good place to have your breakfast and dinner with your family and friends.
Tasty vegetarian kari. Good local restaurant.
One of the best vegetarian restaurant in the Batticaloa city.Limited options in the menu and availability of few items depend on time. Some are break fast menu and some are avilable for lunch.Deliciously and freshly prepared food itemsCleanDining are is non aircondtionWash rooms available
One of the few and best vegetarian restaurants in Batticaloa city limits. Ample parking space. Can enjoy food while seeing the lagoon.
A great, no-frills and completely non-touristy restaurant. For a buffet lunch with two fizzy drinks and some bottled water for 2 people it was 480 rupees (less than £2.50 at September 2017 exchange rates). By far the cheapest place Ive eaten at so far.
The best vegetarian restaurant I have experienced in 3 weeks so far! Not only the lunch buffet (rice and currywas great but also their snacks and flat bread (dosa, bhatoora and chapatis etc.were just wonderful. My hubby and I loved their food so much, so asked a manager/owner gentleman for a recommendation. He seemed so happy to see us, foreigners, admiring their food so much, thus even offered us extra source and bread for free! We were so touched by his hospitality so wanted to give some tip but he did not take the tip!! :Therefore we ended up comeback next day for the lunch buffet. And the price. Lunch buffet is 180 rupee and most flat bread dishes are around 150-200 rupee. Take away samosa is 30 rupee per piece.
Fantastic foods guys. My lunch was amazing
Breakfast and dinner is good. Lunch is not so good. This been a vegetarian restaurant they could include an additional vegetable dish along with the usual three that is served (daal/lentis is daily servedand have food warm at all times. Even at 1pm the food is cold which is bad. The food is in serving dishes and it is not impossible to keep them warm. Other than that the place is clean and everything is else good. Hope they can improve their lunch options and have warm food at all times.
This is the one of the best vegetarian restaurants I went. The food was really nice and the Onion Rava Dosai I have was very delicious. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly.
Nicely prepared vegetarian food.. In Batticaloa, one cant find a better vegetarian place than here. Very neat, organized and fresh..
