Branch of a family-friendly Italian chain dishes NY-style pizza & an array of pasta entrees.
Triple point Deal--$2016" Cheese Pizza, Garlic Knots & 2 Liter Soda
5 employees standing around chatting while one semi engaged guy takes orders - which then they proceed to screw up- 4:30 on a Tuesday afternoon seems pretty busy but when your staff don’t listen what else is going wrong?
Went to grab a couple of pizzas to give to some tree specialist that worked very hard.
Very nice place. Highly recommend to take a Mediterranean salad a carbonara😁Very friendly staff and a safe and cozy environment.
Love Squisitos. Have been going there for years.
I love the ^Grandmother^Pizza! The Basil and Mozzarella are fresh to death!
Great take out pizza! They are very fast. My husband calls it good “normie” pizza, meaning normal and not artisan.
I had a very good experience with this pizza place the people were very very polite and even talked about God and the food was excellent so I give it a five stars and would recommend anybody to spend their money with this piece of joint
We were a party of 9, including 5 hungry baseball boys and Squisito did not disappoint! The service at the counter was very friendly and organized and before we could even get fully seated, our food started to appear. And let me tell you, 5 hungry boys left STUFFED and we had plenty of left overs! Their portions are huge! My husband and I thought we were eating light with a couple of appetizers and salads and wow! There was so much food! The manager even came out to chat with our group, and that was an added bonus. Thank you Squisito!
One of my long time favorite cafeteria style restaurants. Food is always fresh and tasty. Cold beer options are plenty
Squisito service used to be a lot better then it has been as of late. Nothing wrong with the food front end staff is just weak and disengaged with people picking up takeout
The store#2625 in Annapolis Md. I ordered in and got watered down spaghetti sauce and paid for a fountain soda that could not even drink due one Pepsi fountain was staying clear and the other one tasted like soda water. I brought it to the counter people and all they did was put a sign on the one out of order and other one that tasted like fizzy water they just it be. I couldn’t drink it . The store didn’t try to make right and give me my money back. They just ignore the problem. So I paid $12.00 for watered down spaghetti and no fountain drink. Will never return again and I’ll make sure to let my friends and family knows about it as well. Teresa King
We had the veggie pizza. Very good. Luckily no black olives.🤣 First time at a Squid to. Staff was very friendly.
Literally so amazing, as a relatively picky eater I found multiple AMAZING tasting meals that I loved. The pasta, the pizza and the deserts all blew me away when I took a bite. The UVM swim team went happily three nights in a row! Highly recommend a Annapolis must eat!!
We have ordered food from Squisito Annapolis location for the last 5 years at least once a week. We have had great meals. I know the pandemic hasn’t help anything or anyone but the last 3 meals we have gotten have being very disappointing. If quality won’t be there as it originally was I would rather Squisito to tell me we are out of whatever I’m ordering than getting stale old food.
Today was the first time Ive eaten at Squisito (Riva Road, Annapolis locationsince 2005 or so and I remember the food being delicious and affordable. First, I placed a pick-up order over the phone and the lady taking the order was just so genuinely friendly and professional. A short while later while starting my meal at work I was blown away by the food which was even better than I remember it from my last visits. My order of Fettucini Bolognese was piping hot, had so much taste, and the portion given was well beyond what I expected or have ever gotten from ANY restaurant. The picture Im posting doesnt give the portion size justice and its easily enough for 2, possibly 3 meals. Between the service, the food, the quality/portions/taste, etc...I could not possibly be happier. In fact, my food is still cooling down as I type this and its so good that I felt compelled to post a review while waiting. I would give 6 Stars if I could!!
Its rare to find really amazing pizza outside of New York buy Squisito is amazing. The "grandma" pizza is delicious, and the meatlovers was even better. The in room dining was clean. The staff was friendly and I willbe back even though its 40 miles away from home
Very gross experience! I ordered a slice of pizza and then watched an unmasked employee sneeze where my pizza was to come off of the counter. He turns on water and splashes it on his hands for a second. No soap, no scrub. Then he goes to make pizzas with bare hands (no gloves). Then he sneezes again, no hand wash and touches multiple areas including food before heading to bathroom. This is a long time employee who has been there for years. Not the first time I have observed health violations here including eating while preparing and serving food.
The Chicago style pizza 🍕 is misleading and should be called something else like Sicilian style.I say this because Chicago style is thick, doughy and juicy whereas this was crunchy, dry and hard.It was burned black on the bottom and the edges were so hard we had to throw them in the trash which was a waste of money for food we could not eat. When I called to tell them, the help was unfazed and unapologetic, they said they would pass the word on and never allowed me to speak with management.
Very disorganized takeout! Long wait. We got the Cheese Steak pizza and it was overpriced at $24 for a large! I also got an Italian Cold Cut Sub for $9.90 it had very little meat on it and was mostly lettuce!
Very good neighborhood Italian/American place. Good New York style pizza and well prepared pasta dishes. Has not quite recovered to pre-COVID level of quality and menu choices remain somewhat limited. Glad they are there though and worth a stop.
Have ordered many many time thru Door Dash, always perfectly prepared, always consistent in appearance and volume. Food is top notch!Ive enjoyed their food so much, Im ordering Saturday catering for work, 2 Saturdays in a row (so far), consistently delicious, hot and plenty for the money.
We usually love your food but last night nothing we ordered was good. Pizza wasn’t fresh, garlic knots really burnt and chicken in the pasta was burnt, very disappointed 😔
Oh wow! Wanted to take picture but We are it too fast! I had spinich and cheese stuffed egg plant. It was so good! Husband had fettachini Alfredo. He loved it. Came with garlic bread. The sauce so yummy. Got two canolis...those were true Italian. I would go here all the time if I lived here. People that work there are super nice!
A solid Italian restaurant that is not fully gourmet but not just a take-out. Near my parents home. We love to get pizza and pasta from here. Broad menu and good portions! A nice chain of these are in Maryland. Very delicious and good value!
I’m very picky about my pizza and pasta, and this place is the best in Annapolis, in my opinion! The Fetucchini Bolognese is the BEST! Their rose cream/meat sauce is to die for! Better than the upscale Italian restaurants I’ve been to in the area.
We have ordered pizza and salads in the past and have been very impressed with the quality of both. We recently ordered some Italian entrees. Their fettuccine Bolognese was amazing, so rich and creamy. We enjoyed the cheese ravioli as well as the veal piccata. We will definitely be returning for the pizza, salads and the well made entrees. Great place.
Love the squisitos on riva rd. They never dissappoint and they take good care of me. I like a specially made pizza they used to make regularly sold by the slice at lunch time. I order a large to take home for dinner. It is a family favorite as is their buffalo chicken pizza, which is the best buffalo chicken pizza we have ever had. Other menu items are very delicious too.
Great pizza have been going here for 7 years and still love it. The best things here are the garlic knots they are so warm and soft and the sauce is just great. Then there subs are top notch i love the chicken Parmesan and the meat ball. Last but not least is the pizza u can get cheap good cheese on Monday and any other night is a bit more but u get toppings. My opinion there best toppings are the black olives, pepperoni, and onions.
Restaurant has good food. But the staff repeatedly hang up on me without prompt and when I wasnt finished talking. It wasnt because I was rude or anything they just decide when youre done. You can be the nicest person and theyre still in too much of a hurry to hang up. So screw that, Ill go to the severna park location.
Of all the food I ordered the only decent thing was the pizza and honestly everything else was pretty gross. The ham on my sandwich was rubbery and the spaghetti had no taste with the sauce or meatballs. Wont be visiting here again.
For years I have been ordering the white pizza and enjoyed the ricotta topping covered with a basil leaf. It enhanced the taste so I am disappointed that this special touch has been missing from the last few times we ordered it.
My family ate in Squisitos often in past years when the kids were teensand a favorite later when friends come to town. Well because of Covid " am staying in the house. I ordered a meal, that was drowned in tomato sauce last week and treated myself to an expensive piece of cake which was small for the price, I ordered again this afternoon, it came when Door Dash said. The veggie roll was warm and smelled delicious.however, too much dough was used, it was overcooked, burnt bottom. and there was no way to eat the edges. A disappointment. The cake was delicious but again is a small sliver for the price. But nonetheless I am happy you are open.
During this time of Covid19, this restaurant is going the extra mile with exceptional pizza and terrific service. I ordered and picked up their Margherita which I nearly dived into on my way home. Local pizzas have been largely disappointing, but this is the exception! The price is not outrageous but the taste certainly is!
I had my husbands birthday party in our home catered by Squisito this past February. My entire family attended and we are from NY. Italian food is something we are very fussy about. This restaurant met all our expectations. Fabulous food. They delivered right on time. A pleasure to do business with and will again.
Nice place with excellent, quick and friendly service. However, the cheese calzone was not enjoyed by our party of three. They seem to be doing a brisk business with pizzas, so maybe that is what we should have ordered.
Definitely not worth over $14 for a pizza when it consistently comes out burnt. My kids don’t even come close to eating this crust since it tastes closer to a crouton.
I tried calling for more than 15 minutes to place a carryout pizza order. No one ever picked up any of the extensions. I arrived at the location prior to closing. Refused to take a carryout order. No response to my complaint about no one picking up the phone for over 15 minutes. No apologies or attempt to make it right.
Im not sure what happened, used to be a great 4-5 star place. But the last few visits have resulted in order mistakes and the food is not as good. I just dont want to go into a sub and pizza shop and wait 30 mins to have the order come out and have to return it and wait more. The last two times I had the cashier repeat the order, knowing what happened before and it still came out wrong - twice!
Fast, friendly service. Order at counter, meal brought to table. Children friendly. Real plates and silverware, though casual. The food is Good! Food also available for take out. Can see the options before ordering. Good place to linger. Free drinks refills. Clean womens room. Never been in mens room!😂 Overall, a likeable place for lunch and dinner!
I dont Even know where to begin. 1st off it was either the manager or shift leader who so rudely yelled at the carry out work are right in front of customers with a very nasty and aggressive tone. She was very Hostile. Next the gentleman who was making the pizza was digging in the cheese with his bare hands and then putting it on the pizza and then I watched him put the pizza in the oven which is absolutely a health code violation That will be reported because I work in the health department. Next the pizza Add way too much sauce on it and that is pretty much all the pizza consist of was sauce and you could tell that my pizza had been sitting out for God knows how long and they just reheated it. I am so disappointed with this place because the restaurant on the Eastern shore is so much better. I have never been so disgusted with a restaurant before
Great pizza! You can buy by the slice or a whole, splitting it up with various toppings. They offered an extended assortment of combinations. (IE without traditional sauceCrust is amazing! They also serve classic desserts. The dining area has some character, although we ordered out. Staff was courteous and working fast. You can watch them make it if you like, the glassed in kitchen was fun to view. Yummy stuff!
One of the best spots in Riva for a quick bite to eat. I love the pizza and all of their pastas. Portion sizes are very generous. Their Greek salad is fresh and authentic. The Italian sub is my favorite for lunch!
Outstanding food and service, both carry out and sit down. Pizza and pasta are good with wide selections. Their plain cheese pie deal on Mondays is a cant miss, try it and youll be sold.
This place is nice. It has a casual friendly family atmosphere. The food is served quickly and there is a great selection. They have great gelato and deserts. The salads are fresh and tasty and large portions. The large portions are easy to finish because they taste so darn overwhelmingly good. I kept eating nd I knew I was full, yet I dont regret it at all. Their wine selection is nice as well. Great pairings for pasta ect.
Best New York style pizza in Annapolis, Maryland! The overall menu is great and fair priced. I wish it was a regular sit down restaurant, but its worth it! This location is definitely the best of all the Squisito locations. We love it and go often. Also, I wish they delivered. We would get it even more often!
One of the better pizza places in this area. The Greek salad is always fresh and tasty. Easily shared among two or three people (unless youre really hungry).Various entrées range from very good to so-so, but all make a credible showing. But the pizza is the highlight. And if you save room, the gelato is terrific.
I grew up on long island in NY and worked at a pizzeria as a kid. this place is, by far, the best pizza in this area that I have had. service is always excellent. they precook the onions on their pizzas so they are already caramelized prior to the oven on the pizza (geniusand they use real sliced sausage. love the portions on their pasta and how they mix it with sauce before serving.
Love their broad spectrum of menu items. Pizza rocks as well. I have never had a bad meal here. Did I mention how much my kids love their pizza?
Great food. Amazing polite, kind service. Veal Chesapeake. Delicious.
