Not that nice service as youd expect....

This place never disappoints! I love the new build on the balcony area; promotes the feeling of privacy and cosiness.2 years later update (2022):I did a mistake to order take-away pizza at Spoonzoom. First, they gave me the wrong thing, after taking 1 hour 15 minutes to prepare it. Second, the pizza was so poorly cooked, chilli was overly concentrated and in specific spots. The second pizza didnt have much meat to it; it was simply coloured bread!This is the third time in 2022 that Spoonzoom are disappointing me. Thats it, never coming back again.

Served me tasteless tea masala. Was not worth the price

Delay. Waited for meals over an hour and the meal was cold. Need to improve on that ✌🏾

Great food and customer service. A place where you can get ready food anytime when in Thika. Definitely somewhere you can chill and dine as you watch Thika town from the top.

The reastaurant to visit once you are in Thika. Go for a date here and you will not regret it.

The place is nice, the food good, the service good. However, sometimes you have to ask that your food be warmed.

They serve cold food. Tho the hotel i nicely designed, too spacious...they need to repair males toilet.

Great restaurant. In thika Town. Accessible easily. Has a wide variety of dishes. The view of the city is great from first flow. Prices are relatively affordable in comparison to other relatively of its class. Great customer care overall. The food is served in a timely manner

Running away from the scorching sun i bumped into spoon zoom restaurante in Thika town... Was ushered in by very welcoming staff and given a cold.... In the beach as i listened to live rhumba music...

The last time I was there I had the worst experience...twice. first I ordered Biryani.... Big mistake. They offered to make it up and I must have chosen a bad night. A night that had candle light couples dinner but with an off key band that was too loud to hear conversations. The fried chicken we ordered was so dry that we had to simply leave it. Suffice to say I wont be returning in the coming years.

Pathetic supervisor with attitudes. The dark complexioned lady. Speaks with ego and pride when handling customer. Bure kabisa.

For a hotel located in town Id say the ambience is impressive.

The quality of services has gone down since my last visit in 2020.Should check;1. Tables (arrangementalso not appealing.2. Cleanliness of some areas

Keep your expectations on the food low. Under the ground if possible. Lovely place for a meet and greet. Stay away from the pilau.The Sunday full chicken isnt a full chicken.The chicken wraps are okayThe chips masala are really dry, I didnt know that it was possible to get the that dry.The hot chocolate is amazingThe milkshake is extra sugary and tastes like calpol childrens medicine

I was bored with the taste of chicken drum sticks ,I had the worst meal ever 😏😑 but as for drinks they are really good

Best Restaurant in Thika ..hawk eyed waitresses and very attentive,anything extra just a raise of hand and pap,Enjoyed the Mbuzi and Long island cocktail keep up.

Its a good place....but no 5 stars,at least not today.You have to wait for like almost 20 minutes before you get some service...I dont know if its happening to me only but I feel they should improve on their customer service; otherwise you might just die hungry waiting to be asked what you will be having.

Ive been to restaurants, but this place was unique, cool place to rest and do your stuff at ease, cool music in the background, customer service is awesome 😎, I mean its interesting... Keep it up

It is located at Thika towns Central Business District. Idk if its the building or if it was the former name but the beautiful building has a big tag "December Hotel(1963)" It is located directly opposite the former society stores( now khetias supermarket (Nov 2021)). The place offers a great service in the hotel industry with its top-notch chefs and waiters. The place is also spacious to accommodate as much customers as it can. The balcony eating is so magnificent as you see Thika Town residents go by their daily duties. For the residents, it is a nice advertising of the hotel to lure them to hunger to enter the hotel which is in all VERY CREATIVE. Great architecture and polite waiters and waitresses.

Their food just keeps getting worse, I was served food that looked like left overs. Took forever to have the food served. Ps, they used to be better.

The joint is strategically located but they need to improve on their services.An order takes quite sometime before it is served.The washrooms air quality is not good at least they need to be using air freshener to ensure those washrooms are not smelly.

Slow, you will wait for your food till kingdom come. Stay away from CHICKEN BIRYAN!! Tastes horrible. The chips were great, also the Kienyeji chicken.

The food was amazing and so was the service, the staff is friendly. I was new to the place so they offered some suggestions on what to eat and it was great.

Really nice restaurant unfortunately the dont have a menu anymore and you have to ask the serve what food they offer other than that and judging by other pictures and past experiences it seems well Id like to see a Menu tho

The service was great by Oliver....she was fast even though the manpower seemed so low....The chips masala and roasted was sumptuous as well as the shakes. The chicken wings were pathetic....They were just deep fried and the sauce was only mixed.....Its was yuck that we were unable to eat....But the overall service was okay

The food took long over 50 minutes to be precise.. we had chicken biriani DONT ORDER THAT!! the chicken was cold overcooked the rice is the worst rice cold tasted like it had be reheated on a pan worst rice i have had hand down.. the mbuzi fry was excellent 👌 though the rice was cold the side soup had cooking oil already solidifying on top as it was cold.. my advice just order chips or tea! But if you are looking for a decent meal stay away from spoonzoom restaurant! Never again.. Ooohh and i ask for a glass of water it took 25 minutes whats up with that?? And the place wasnt even at half capacity...

The food was sumptuous and the milkshake was classic. I loved every bit of the service; prompt delivery. Will try the Lemonades next time.

Amazing Restaurant.Well spacious and Covid rules well maintained and followed.Their food is amazing. Brought hot.Kids menu is a plus.And the prices,Truly POCKET FRIENDLY.Grace was an amazing staff efficient, courteous and proffesional.The location is perfect.Only issue would be finding a parking spot.

Customer service below average. A week ago the waitress brought me the wrong cake. She later replaced it but the black forest wasnt fresh. Today I sat for about 10 minutes at the left side of the balcony but no one attended to me so I walked out. Otherwise, the place is beautiful.
