"pork baguette" which was actually pork paté gave me food poisoning for 24 hours and service forgot soup - bland and terribke

Definitely on the more pricy side of the scale,but its what youd expect since you are eating on a ship after all. Food is good, well executed, though some portions might be a bit too small. They have a decent amount of cocktails to choose from. The view is nice since you can see from the deck Elisabeth Bridge and a large amount of the old city of Buda.

Scarce menu but enough, good wines, good servings and superb view!

I came here for a drink and was amazed with the view i came on such a bright and sunny day and the outdoor area was so peaceful i had a lovely time the staff were very friendly too

Great atmopshere and amazing view. We were lucky to have one of the best table for Valentines day dinner. Service, live music, decoration, meals were all great. I highly recommend here for all. You will not regret.

Great food with a live entertainment on a boat on the Danube River.Prices are a little bit high but a great experience in the end.

We were with a tour group of about 125 Canadians coming for Christmas 2019 and the 2020 World Juniors Hockey. Our tour (Destiny Tours, Ontario, Canadaarranged for our three course lunch with coffee and tea. The creamed soup was to die for, the chicken breast was quite overcooked but when trying to serve that many at the same time, I can give some wiggle room to the chef(s). The apple pie dessert however was cold and overly sweet but maybe that is how they like it. Beautiful decor and great service.

Very nice restaurant! Good food and beautiful view to the Danube riverside Budapest castles. The staff very quite friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect. Definitely recommended! Will go back for sure when I visit Budapest again!

Great atmosphere, fair prices for such a beautiful venue. Service was very good and staff were welcoming. I had a few cocktails and an appetizer and they were all very well prepared. I definitely recommend visiting as the sun sets as the view is spectacular!

Lovely food and lovely staff, (I dont really like goats cheese so I asked for the tagliatelle without goats cheese, the staff were lovely and explained the goats cheese is mixed into the sauce but they wouldnt put the extra goats cheese on top, and it was lovely 😍)

The meals are nice looking with a very average taste. Some of the waiters are rude. The nice view is why i give 4.

Fancy place with a view and good service. Food was average, but the portions were very large so dont order a starter unless you are really hungry. Pretty busy, so make a reservation unless youre early.

Nice view on the boat , just went there for dessert and drink , it soo good never had delicious chocolate brownie cake with strawberries with rhubarb sauce dessert !😍😄😄😄 would love to come here again !

Nice views of the Budapest Danube! Drinks and cheese tray were nice.

Although the food was very nice the service left a lot to be desired.The wine glass had a cobweb which I pointed out. The water was split when pouring, and after wiping up was spilt on the second pour also.The goulash was splashed on one guests arm. The worst of all was 2 of the 3 meals were served and wr had finished eating before the 3rd was brought along. Considering the hype and excitement what a disappointment.

Raw duck in the middle and I didnt mind it but 6 hours later I started suffering from food poisoning and its still ongoing.This duck was tasty so I ate it all however at some pieces it was raw and hard to chew.Results are terrible.You can see in my pics how raw it is.Poultry should be cooked its not a steak!shame

Beside view nothing special. Perfect view of chain bridge. After waiting 70 minutes fish served uncooked and they pretend its supposed to be like that. Rude and slow service. Narrow tables.

Try to get a seat on the deck. If rhe weather is nice the view cannot be beaten by any other places on pest. The service and the food is also amazing.

The food was good but it did not blow me away. Pretty standard, struggling to keep up with the emerging high quality restaurants in the city. The view is amazing but the prices dont justify the taste and quality of the food. The staff is super helpful as you would expect but always be aware of the wines that they offer. I heard quite some horror stories.

We have visited this place for dinner and it was relatively full. We ordered starters, mains and desserts. For starter foie gras wasnt really tasty, it didnt have too much flavour, however the serving was quite nice. Tartar on the other hand was good. From mains we have tried (steak, salmon, tuna), the best was tuna, nicely cooked, raw inside, delicate and delicious. For desserts, even though they were very well served they didnt surprised us.House wine (bottledwas just ok.

Delicious food. Ordered the water buffalo entree with mushrooms, shallots, potatoes. Server was slow to bring drinks which I could see sitting on the bar waiting to be delivered but her colleagues made up for it. Great view of Buda Castle from the water. More expensive than the rest of Budapest but I assumed it would be as it was a floating restaurant. Accepted US credit card

Amazing view, with comfortable setting, elegant design and higher quality furniture. Friednly staff, good lighting and music.The food looks amazing. Absolutely well arranged, catefully proportioned ingredients, good meat cuts.On the taste, I’d give it 4/5, as the quail truffle soup was slightly too salty, the boar cheek a bit too well cooked, and the foaie gras a bit too dipped in fat.But just a bit.Mix it with the view, the good wine (the “house” wine is a Montenuovo 2014 - recommend!), atmosphere - and it ocerall hits a 10. Definitely good place to try out!

This place is very touristic. The food is ok, nothing special. The atmosphere is ok, nothing special. The only thing really special is the price. Oh, I forgot about the view, that one is nice though.

A moored boat offering dinner or drinks eith great views of the river and the surroundings.It is a bit pricey but the ambience, decor and service are worth it.In our case, we only had drinks and dessert so I cannot judge the quality of the food. Presentation was great.

Beauty with elegance. Finest places for a great dinner in one of the best location in Budapest. Loved the coffee especially. We held a conference there and it couldnt be better.

Super service. Attentive and polite. Amazing views over to Buda and its fabulous buildings. Add the passing cruise boats and you have a perfect dining experience. The food matches up to the views. Expertly prepared and professionally presented.. If you think this adds up to expensive then you are absolutely correct.

Perfect views, it is situated on the Danube facing the Buda Castle , very good service, nice food. They are serving a very good lemonade.

Excellent ambience ..amazing view of tge castle lit in the night. Enjoy the food and champagne at this love restaurant on a deck of the ship on the beautiful banks of the lovely Danube. The owners are just amazing people.

Really enjoyed a 3 course dinner at this beautiful restaurant overlooking the castle. My organisation had arranged for reliable veggie options - so no way for me to say if they do veggie stuff on other days. But what I got served tasted good - so no complaints. The restaurant has quite the view, as the sun sets and lights get turned on across the Danube on the castle. so even if there are no veggie options, I would recommend stepping in here for tea, or beer - just to enjoy the view.

The environment will make any food taste heavenly. The mild breeze from danube and the view of the buda castle will blow you away. Even if you dont want to spend large on a dinner, I would recommend you to just come and have drink here and enjoy the env.The food itself is not that bad and I will have to agree with other fellow reviewers before me that it does fall a bit on the pricey side. Food portion is reasonable for this kind of up-end restaurants.The staff are very friendly and will make you laugh with their great sense of humour.

Stunning view, ok food. I had the grape salad to start which was massive but mainly leaves, also very sickly sweet. I then had the chickpea and aubergine. The chick pea patty was pretty good as was the tomato sauce, aubergine was under cooked (anyone who enjoys aubergine knows cooking it is a fine artmy partner had the veal stew which he says you can get same quality food for half the price but the views are worth it. All in all, a romantic setting but have had better food.

This was the poshest place we visited while in Budapest. Its on the more expensive side, with meals costing around £15 - £20,but the quality and sevice is excellent. I kinda felt the food portions were too small, but I guess thats the sort of the restaurant it was. Very nicely presented tho and the staff were friendly

The tourist visit this restaurant MUST PAY ATTENTION about the money they take back from the bill! Firs want to say the place is with wonderful view over the river and Buda castle. The service is very polite and have class of stared restaurant. Can say the quality of food have value for the cost and location. Is possible to pay with euro but the rest the client become in forint. I really had a nice opinion until the moment went in the shop and wanted to pay with the forint they give me and I was in the situation this banknotes was stopped by circulation before 1 year. So after ask the manager of the restaurant he told me that they don’t have any old banknotes and he was on Kassa when they finished whit my bill, but was strange that only forint I had was from there and he didn’t answer me why, but he change me them and was telling me 3-4 times that they don’t have any old money!

Would give this restaurant a 3 mainly for location...We were lucky enough to get a window seat which had an amazing view over the danube river..the staff were friendly but werent very considerate of my allergies which made us feel a little uncomfortable and the food was not overly exciting. Great wine.

Nice boat restaurant on the Danube. The view is beautiful. However I found it overpriced and everything seemed a bit unnatural. If youre looking for a fancy place where lots of waiteresses and waiters professionally serve you this is the place.

We came here for our last dinner date. Im vegan and the food was not to my taste. We started by sitting at the top but there were spiders everywhere. We moved downstairs which was much nicer but empty. Saying that, it was a Sunday. Lets say we wont be back except for perhaps a drink at the bar on the upper deck.

Double the price, half the size. You will leave hungry. Beer was flat. Service was fast and friendly. Menu with limited choices but fairly fancy. The location is worth it in my view.USD 140 for family of 5, 2 adults, included service fee of about 20%.
