Spoon in Lubbock

I love going to the Spoon. Pizza is great, music great, plus efficient staff. Wednesday night always great bands.

Roadhouse vibe with all the fun. Pool, darts, sports screens, music(live after dark), beer and FOOD. BBQ, burgers, pizza, tacos, chicken fried baskets, appetizers.Everything on our table was a hit but the Brisket Nachos were a grand slam perfect for a table drinking and watching "the game". Plus surprises as we came in on a Saturday and an arm wrestling competition was setting up. Our server said it happens twice a month. Have Fun

The staff was incredibly rude to my friends and I.

I wish I could give this place zero stars, but that’s not an option. A group of my friends and I came and were denied entry because our id’s “were fake” which they were indeed not. The bouncer and the bar manager pulled our ids aside and spent over 5 minutes analyzing it before coming to the conclusion that they were fraudulent. Again, they were not. If you cannot properly read an I’d then you have no place bouncing or managing a bar. If you’re 21-25, I’d highly recommend not even attempting to waste your time stopping by as you’ll probably get denied.

I want to give zero stars but that’s not an option so I give you a 1. They charged a cover when they didn’t used to and they rejected TWO ID’s that we’re REAL, even after they passed the blue light and scanned them on the computer. They lost our business and they should lose yours too.

Its been awhile since i got to compare burgers, I had blue sky for lunch today, only thing extra was bacon, Blue sky is now my former favorite. the spoon surpassed them, I felt like someone took my mommas burgers and queso, and improved it. Definitely recommend.

This place was great, the pizza was amazing. We will definitely go back.

It was okay no drink specials not my favorite place. The band starts playing way too late.

Party of three arriving about 5:30 on a Wednesday evening. We all ordered BBQ buns, two chopped, one sliced. One with potato salad, one with fries and one with onion rings. Meals came relatively fast. The buns were large and full of BBQ. The sides were all Outstanding. We will certainly be back very soon. Sorry, I didnt get the name of our server, but she was very good and efficient.

Your live music is horrible. Mediocre bands with big egos. Whoever is booking this trash should be fired. Their musician friends suck. They should probably try to learn to play their instruments and realize this is a party bar.

Not a bad spot for a few beers but the food was below what I expected.

We had chef salad - it was fresh & excellent, supreme pizza - tasty & crunchy, and a club sandwich - which was also very tasty.

Good music...cold drinks...even had fries and they were delicious

When I wanna go out for drinks. This is the place to go! We always have to order a pizza and a cherry bomb. Love that they have different bands. Great vibes. All the staff is great but when we go, I just cant get enough of Grace. Shes amazing. She definitely will take care of you!

The elements played. It was very nice too hang out eatting and having a drink. peaceful party. The drinks were not good only because it wasnt a frozen marqurita. Watered down drinks.

Paid 15 dollars for 2 drinks, we were charged extra for snacks we never got or ordered. Also my drink had no alcohol in it. The waitress was checked out at the bar for half the time and the other half was spent flirting with a guy at another table. When I approached her at the bar about the prices, she said thats just the way it is. Never returning here, this place is a major ripoff!

Their BBQ is the best in Lubbock in my opinion. We order from here at least once a month. Everything is always consistent and super fresh. Highly recommend this place!

The bartender kept disappearing so sat there with no drinks and one poor guy got no service at all but the overall atmosphere was great just the help stunk

Cool place....better when TG shows up

This is our first time to visit. Ordered a supreme pizza to go but decided to stay for a beer and a game of pool. Must say this was one of the best pizzas ever. We will be back.

I frequent this bar every Sunday for the open jam night, and despite the vast variety of performances, there is always music everyone will love and the performances are mostly high level. Food is above average and the service is exceptional! Drink variety is better than you might assume. This bar provides an authentic Texas experience and is definitely worth a try!

I have a friend that usually comes to town about twice a week and this is his favorite place. We had been by earlier in the week and the parking lot was full. Saturday it was empty. Their pizzas are really good, but this time I had brisket nachos and he had the wings. Our waitress, Abigail was really nice, checked on us often and kept up with her other tables too.

The pizza here is AMAZING!! And I love when they have live music.Great place to have a few drinks too!

Its a pretty crusty bar but the beer is cold and music loud.

First time ever here, from out of town and I really enjoyed the live music that was here. People are very friendly and enjoyable. Glad that I can and the food was also great.

The food was really good! The waitress was really terrible though. She only paid attention to my boyfriend and unnecessarily touched him while walking by which I find extremely disrespectful. Then had the audacity to ask if we were separate. I dont recall her ever telling us her name but shes the pregnant one. So ladies watch out.

Place is a great fun environment. Great music and good priced drinks and food.

One of the original and long standing "Live" music hosts of West Texas, Texas Cafe aka "The Spoon" still serves up some of the best grub and tune in Lubbock.

Was hoping that it was a motorcycle biker type bar but bikes or bikers. Bartender was nice but no Stella or PBR beers
