Splashmins Resort in Georgetown

Great place for relaxation, it is neat and very clean with white sand on the creek edge. Complemented with boat rides and other water sports. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to Guyana

Had an awesome weekend here with my family. Mr. Wayne and staff had all the fun planned for the weekend. I recommend this weekend getaway to anyone.

This is my very first time at your resort it was my friends birthday on Friday and my own Saturday the 7/22 and 7/23. I must say the food was great and the environment was quiet. But the best of all was Mr. Alex Wayne he knows how to may your staying there fun he is a 10 for me if I had to grade him pleasant personality outgoing and must say lots of fun. I will be going back there!!! This is Beyonce💯

Great place for family picnic. Though Music can be loud at times. Nonetheless a great place with plenty of activities, play sports including cricket, swim in the lake in a safe designated area, boat ride across the lake, bring your own bbq and cook, plenty of spaces to sit privately. It can be busy on the weekends.

This resort is transforming. The workers there are amazing. The Mc knows how to get the crowd going.I recommend a weekly stay at this place.

Beautiful quiet spot to hang out with your family, but I wish if it had more activities since it was open waters.

Great open space, approx. 1 hr drive from Georgetown, to enjoy some swimming and family time. Benabs are well designed with a countertop to rest food items and benches to accommodate 6-12 persons seated comfortably

The first day they asked if we needed room service 10 minutes after arriving which makes no sense, the place should have been cleaned before we got there. They did not come back again for room service for the remainder of the 4 days we stayed there. They had spider webs in the bathroom corners and roach in the bedroom. It was addressed and they said the remainder of the stay will be better. Which honestly it wasnt. I had to address and other issue about the small portions of food and food running out even tho there was only 6 couples at the resort at the time. The lack of menu when they asked what we wanted to eat from the menu they went to the kitchen and said they did not have that item. The kitchen staff was not professional and it felt like they were upset we was there in the first place. The pregnant woman had an attitude the whole time bringing us food. The only good meal we had was Saturday night dinner that was a valentine dinner for the couples. They need alot more Improvement overall. I will not be going there ever again and I do not recommend the resort to anyone. You may go and enjoy the lake but the resort is not up to any good standard what so ever.

Guyanas hybrid beach -a large reservoir of reengineer a natural creek/spring into a beachy landscape for Guyanese relics. Away from the city and nice entertainment for families and love birds alike. Just be careful driving back to the city, rain, sunshine or nightfall the traffic policemen will be shaking you down on a Sunday evening after spending a nice day at the hybrid beach........

This is the worst place I had visitU got to pay $60 every time u wanna use the wash room plus to change ur clothes is a next $ 80

Its a nice resort. It has many covered tables for picnics and family functions. Randy will take you around the river on the boat. Theres one house for riding. Sand volleyball court, basketball court. Small store with bathing suits, inflatables, beach toys and ice cream. If you didnt bring food dont worry theres a small restaurant as well as a bar for drinks. There are beautiful houses on the lake that you can walk around to.

The place was clean and tidy but neither the shop or the bar was open.

This place Superseded my expectations.Every staff up on the compound is beyond friendly and hospital bill and accommodating the place is Immaculate leaking

I visited the Eco resort which is part of Splashmins. It was clean fun. Takes a little driving to get into the area but it was well taken care of and had pleasant guyanese hospitality.

Its the best place to be on a Sunday afternoon. A trip there is always nice.

It was blah. No music allowed, no water activities, well, just a boat ride literally around the corner and back for $500 per person. I am frDom Linden, we pay $60 for a longer boat ride. Disappointed.

This experience was very interesting,partially fun. The food was quite delicious but the dishes were scratched and old.The hotel room inside was okey.AC working fine etc. but the water coming from the showers had an unpleasant odor but at least they had hot n cold. The rooms cleaness was alright. But at the end the experience at the resort was fun and amazing.Love the entertainment.Love the black water and sand!!😏🖒😏🏖.

Needs active life guards, better management and security. New nets need to be placed along the boundary lines for the non swimmers and kids. Its important to have quick reaction and response from staff. If you have someone taking a guided horse back ride.....where the swimmers ,especially the kids are playing, you need to train your staff to pick up horse droppings ASAP! Not dilly dally! The entrance staff needs to put a smile and a little courtesy on their demeanor. Everyone in Guyana knows that splashmins is a close and easy location of a last minute or quick relaxation trip. But that doesnt mean this business should take advantage of that.

Love the scenery here. I enjoyed the black water (tea bag water because of the rich vegetation in the Amazon). Its located about 40 mins outside of the city so you get away from the hustle and bustle of city life to relax in the cool water. The resort used to have kayak boats and jet ski but Im not sure if those are still available. If your ever visit Guyana be sure to check it out though.

Beautiful man made "extension of a creek" beach. Diverse group of people with everyone minding their own business & enjoying their own family. Closes at dusk!

Love going there when I’m on vacation. Very clean friendly professional staff. Relaxing environment. If you like interacting with people then go there on Sunday if not then go weekdays.

Its a nice place to cool down when the place is really hot

First off from just entering the resort the security was rude, second when I arrived at the main office / check-in and there was no one there had to wait for about 5-7 minutes. Third the room was lacking in many things entrance door doesnt have a mat (a lot of sand if you go for a swimbathroom doesnt have a mat when you get out of the shower the floor remains wet for a very long time, there is a desk with no chair to sit on, other than that it is a wonderful place for some nice R and R, kitchen and bar staff were amazing, the boat captain was very knowledgeable about the place. I would visit there again.

I love it there because it quiet and simple and a great environment to take my family. It need a few improvements but its ok

Did not stay at the resort, visited to bathe there. We paid a 1000GYD entrance fee per person. Its 500GYD for children from 2 to 12. Famous for their tea bag colored water. Which is extremely cold. But very calm like a pool, and once you get it, you get over how cold the water is after about 5 to 10mins. Enjoyed it very much. There is also a bar and eating area. Food is sold here as well. Not a variety of food youll have to eat whatever the special is on that day, I had plantain chips and fried fish. It was quite tasty. People are also very friendly. Changeroom / washroom area was clean. Shower is outside however. There werent any water sports available. However you can rent a ball for a small fee of 300GYD and play beach volleyball or basketball. There are many huts available to sit in and leave your bags etc, you can even bring you own food. Overall very enjoyable experience.

Great value for money. It only cost $1,000 GYD per person to enter. There are lots of seating options. However, Id recommend taking your own food and drinks to enjoy.

It is my daughters favourite place to go out with family,children will especially love it,and there are huts like benabs for each group of people.it also has boats,a swimming section and boating section.

Great eco resort outside the Georgetown city bustle. Great fresh water creek and lots of water activities and resort relaxation
