Family aquatic park featuring body & tube slides, a water-balloon-fight area & a concession stand.
Its a great local location ๐ for the family and friends to meet up and have fun with great events ๐๐like Birthday party๐๐ and just the regular summer day getting wet and swimming splashing Down likely as badass as a fish ๐ coming down and threw them slides as ya enjoying their figures on the ๐ water ๐ฆ slides !!๐
Awesome place with lots of activities to do. It is well kept and has decent food!
Splash Down provides several attractions for all ages to enjoy durring the heat of summer. The prices are fair and the concessions are reasonable as well. Only a few issues with certain attractions being closed due to system malfunctions (ie. old water pumps). If technical issues were less common, the park would have recieved 4 if not even 5 stars.
Splash Down is a great water slide park. Kids will have fun here. Theres food and beverages for sale. However, if you just want to swim, I dont believe theres a standard pool to do so.
Recently visited Splash Down on a Friday afternoon with a group that included kids, parents, and grandparents, and all had a wonderful time. It has a relaxed and easy-going atmosphere and friendly employees. I loved that you could hang out on the lawn - in the sun or shade - and that it was mostly grass, not concrete. If youre looking for a relaxing and fun day outdoors, this is a sure bet.
Fun place for the kids for sure! Close to home so makes a fun family event. Only down side was water in kiddie area was freezing so my boys turned blue and the big slides were a bit....bumpy on the bum so that was uncomfortable for sure. Will enjoy coming back yearly.
Been going here sense I was 12 .. Family business that loves to see the kids have fun and off the streets ... They make family time worth it !!
Family fun at a reasonable price. The kids love going here and if you go for their evening special the value is huge. 2 hours of sliding for less than the price of seeing a movie and instead of sitting and not talking to each other we are all laughing, talking, and excitedly walking to our next slide down the tubes!
Great day.. Lots of fun .. Not busy .. We rode all the slide like 15 times .. Super affordable
Great family fun. Reasonable day playing on slides and around water. Been researching locations for larger group gathering place. Corporate picnics. Has lots of lawn area.
Nice open area for the pup to run. Love the water fountain for the pops too.
I live about two blocks from Splashdown and to be honest I havent gone inside the place since the 90s. Still, SD is in Valley Mission park so Ive been looked through Splashdowns fences several times. From what I see it doesnt look much different than it did 25 years ago. It isnt a big place and I think older kids could get kind of bored with it fast, but if you have younger kids there is more than enough here. Also, the admission prices are surprisingly really fair for what you get. Taking a couple kids here only costs about as much as taking them out to a movie would.
Went here in a hot day in July with two other families and their small children. SplashDown Beach was probably one of the best ideas and places in the area for kids to cool off. It was very clean and all of the employees at the stands were very attentive and pleasant. We spent approximately three hours and the kids wanted to stay even longer. Great way to keep active children entertained. I would definitely go again next Summer!
The recent snow made sledding down the hill a great time, the snow was packed and cold but made for a fast ride to the bottom, remember to keep your feet in the sled so you dont get a snow shower on your way down the hill lol bundle up I got snow up the legs of my pants too so i recommend snow pants.
Classic, if you havent been here you gotta go. Offers family passes that are a terrific price. Works with groups and companies to get the best price for all.
For a local park its a lot of fun. Been coming here since I was a kid. Glad to see that this place is still standing after a couple of bad summers with the smoke and seeing the waterpark in CDA close down years ago.
Such a fun way to spend a day in the sun with friends and family or even an hour or two all alone to cool off and have some wild fun! They also have good food. I wouldnt mind the prices to be lowered a little though.
Great place to cool down the kids during the summer and other seasons enjoy the pristine condition of the grass and bbq area also dont forget the toys and sledding at winter time an all seasons park for the whole family
Great place for family summer fun. Good deals on specific nights and overall, a great place to spend money!I will say, the only negative experience (and the reason for the missing 5th starwas that while most of their staff, young and old, are very attentive, there have been 2 slide rides that have ended with someone barrelling towards us and hitting us on the way into the water. I usually have my 3 or 6 yr old on my lap and therefore we go somewhat slower than the average person. While there are lifeguards at the top of the slide and at the bottom (both with walki-talkies), sometimes they dont wait until the person on the slide has safely exited before sending the next person down. This would be ok, except most slide riders are young people who ride on their knees for maximum speed and Im always a little nervous about the painful consequences of being a slow rider. Especially when my kids are on my lap and my job of keeping them safe and their heads mostly above water is jeopardized.Alas, this does not stop us from participating, and is only the reason for a one star loss. We are generally extremely happy with our experience at Splash Down!
Splashtown this is a Family Fun Park. this is a great place to take your kids to relax on the weekend to get away from the electronic. They have just enough slide to keep your kids entertain. displays have plenty of spots to lay out in the sun. this place does have a snack bar but you can also bring your own food to do like a family picnic.
If you like water slides and being in the water I would recommend going here. Great place to take family. They have food and ice cream. Also some eye candy .
Well for the longest time seniors 65 and older used to get in free to splashdown. No I didnt use the slides or the slide pool. But my four grandkids I would take there used them. I would buy lunch there for them all as well. Now they dont even give discounts for the seniors. Well you just lost four paid people I will take my grandkids to public pools and to the many lakes that are in our region. To bad for you.
Not many places like this in Spokane, so great fun with the kids for the summer at a super affordable price and you are aloud to bring outside food and drinks...mmmm...let me think about it...YES!
This place must be under new ownership. It seems cleaner and better maintained compared to past years. It would be great to see more attractions added but well worth the visit!
Fun place, there are a lot of cracks in the cement walkways that little ones trip on. My son cut his foot on one and stubbed his toes 6 times on the walkway to the toddler slides. Kids run everywhere and run into people
Slides are fun. 3 adults in my group did end up with cuts and the walk ways are wzy too hot. We had a great time and might do it again sometime!
The hot dogs are bomb! Do Not go down the fast pitch slide it will give a wedgy/enema of a lifetime !!! Its fun place to have a party....
For the price its hard to beat! Its pretty unique that you can bring in your own outside food or BBQ right in the park! My 3 year old was able to go on some of the slides (with assistance of coursewhich was awesome!
I wish it were bigger. Also, it is not run as wel as it could be. We wanted a map, but there were none to find. The snack bar could be much better, and more slides, please! And add a hot tub with a swim up bar.
Wonderfull family place fun in the sun.Bring blankets n lunch towels.Spend an afternoon there .keep lots of refreshments sun tan lotion hugs n such.Birthday partys weve done too.SPLASH DOWN SUMMER FUN PARK LOTS OF PARKING.CLOSE TO HIGHWAY EASY AXIS IN N OUT.
This place needs an update. The hot tubs are always dirty, the slides arent connected well in some areas so it can be painful to slide down, and theres no big area for people to swim in. Its not worth the price and Id rather take my kids to a city pool.
This is an awesome place to take the family with money or without there is a huge Park before the front Gates with tennis Court it also has a hill for the winter time that you can go sledding on. The funnest part by far is the waterslides though
You can tell everything is run down. The staff is all teenagers. I was there most of the day and didnt see one adult that was in charge. On a Saturday during the summer the food should be stocked, well they were out of half the stuff on the menu and the "kids" working there didnt look very interested. It is poorly managed.
Great family fun and specials durung the week make it affordable. My kids are older and were entertained for hours.
Great place for friends and family to have a blast of fun. And there aint no better place to cool off in the relaxed water and sunshine than this.
Very fun place. As a bigger guy it seemed like I was about thrown off a slide. My brother cut his foot badly coming down the fastball due to some plastic sticking out.
Nice helpful staff. The park was clean and felt safe. There were entire families sharing time together with even a place for the little ones.
I highly recommend this park as a quick family get-away! The landscaping is beautiful and well-maintained, the slides are so much fun, the lines are short, the staff is great, and the price is reasonable.
Stay. Away.Im writing this while sitting on the grass having completely given up on the idea of enjoying myself. I came with my wife and toddler son and it cost $40, my son was free. The price was ridiculously high, and the grounds and facility were as trashy as the customers were. The bathrooms were awful, the slides were in desperate need of repair, and the floors of the pools might just rip into your foot if youre not careful. The signage to find the place is nonexistent, you need to pass through a public pool on your walk to the place.Heres my free piece of advice, stay away and save your money, if you do happen to come then just stop at the public pool, dont walk the extra 100 feet to Splash Down where the term cleanliness has went to die.
Simple water slides so great for kids of all ages. Pretty spendy for whats available considering theme park less than an hour away for same price. Hours vary depending on outside temperature.
I didnt get to spend too much time here. The price of admission and the features arent exactly fair. You can get bored quickly. The grounds and pools are relatively clean and the staff seemed friendly enough. Overall, its a decent place to beat the heat, if youre not inclined to make a trip to a bigger waterpark.
very fun, not a ton of rides but enough. suggest getting in on the afternoon pricing to save your money, you will still get enough done to satisfy everyone. There is a public pool next door that is separate cost(cheapbut warm and worth hitting afterwards if you are cold.
Some of the slides are getting a little run down, because this place has been around forever. The prices are decent , and its super to be here on a hot day , otherwise the water is cold. The toddler area is very cute. This place tends to attract a somewhat trashy crowd so stay close to your kids.
Im a little disappointed in splash down... today we spend the day here with family. We got there right at open, and my kids when down the slides right away they had fun of course which is great since they are kids and dont worry about the big things. (As it should beMy husband and I get to he bottom of the hill and sit right by the 5 slides. The life guard is posted, however her butt is hanging out, and I dont mean a little it was all cheeks sure its summer shes young blah blah but this is a family place I dont want my kids to ask why her butt is showing, which they did. Then she leaves and 2 young men are posted as guards. Well they are to interested in talking to notice anything else, let alone pay attention to the slides. Most of the time they had their backs to the water, how is this safe? Arent they to keep an eye on the water just in case? And after maybe 15 mins of them chatting they leave noone is posted at the bottom of the slides for over 45 mins. Mind you I was sitting there the whole time as it was still cold and raining I could not take my 8 month old in the water for obvious reasons. I then go use the bathroom and its gross, dirty and smells weird. The floor had over 2 inches of water with no wet floor sign posted, the bottom of the doors are rotted and the tile is broken off the wall sitting on the ground where it fell. Also no baby changing table. Later in the day as it got busy the pool at the bottom filled with swimmers.... how unsafe.... Ive never been to a pool where they allow people to swim where others come off fast slides. Its very dangerous to the swimmers all around and people coming off the slides many times I saw people coming off the slide hitting a swimmer. Someone could of got seriously hurt. over all Im glad my older kids had fun but we wont be back they cant even keep proper life guards on duty. I feel like this place is going to be sued for something. Id rather travel and spend a little more money to go to silverwood they at least have proper life guards who take it seriously instead is talk. Im sure there are many postives about splash down but we saw little of them.
The slides are fun for a while but all day for the kids. No pool or wading area, kids can use slide with vest on which none of the public pools allow. You are able to bring in your own lunch! We went on wed and it was very slow lots of space per family plenty of seating! Enjoy the hike back to the top all day five slidesAnd a small kiddie area sums it up. But we enjoyed it all. Wish it was cheaper.
Splash Down has always been a favorite for my sisters and I but I find the bathrooms are never very clean and sometimes I find the staff to be a bit rude. And not to mention the price to get in for the day is a bit expensive but still fun!!
Its a great park with fun slides, lots of lawn space and seating for enjoying a sunny day. The staff is friendly and hospitable. There can be long lines on busy days but thats the price you pay for being such a short drive. If you like it I suggest the family pass, it pays for itself in just a few visits.
Bought a $25.00 coupon book from our daughters school. It had a coupon for buy I admission get one free. It actually has 4 of them. It is 102 degrees today. Dropped off our teenager and his friend a few minutes ago. I am now driving back to pick them up because they have refused to honor the coupon. It would be bad enough if it was a free coupon, but I BOUGHT the book they CHOSE to advertise in.I have sad embarrassed teenagers and it should never of happened.
My wife and I are new to the area and wanted a fun adventure. So we drove to Silverwood in Northern Idaho. The water park there was very disappointing, mainly because they gouged you for tube and locker rentals (and staff have to open your locker for you).A few weeks later, we decided to give Splash Down a try. What a difference! Yes it is smaller, but that was actually a benefit. Their locker and mat rentals (if you want oneare very affordable. Because it is built on a hill, you are walking up a slow-sloping sidewalk instead of stories of stairs. As a person that doesnt love heights, this was ideal since you were never far from the ground. The landscaping was beautiful and there was plenty of shade, grass, and chairs for when you needed a break. The toilet bowl as I called it was an absolute blast. They have a great kids area and all slides are in close proximity so you can spend more time sliding and less walking. So save the money and the gas and skip Silverwood! We will definitely be returning next season!
You can go on a day they offer a coupon or good deal. I brought a church flyer and got in for $10 and stayed a long time. Its small enough to not loose your children so they can run off to play. You can make your own picnic area on a blanket in the shade, or set up at one of their nice tables in their lawn or cement area if you want to watch the kids. They have concession stands too, lockers, and places to shower and change in the bathrooms.
