this says recommend spirit rock but no..based on our experience today we do not. we stopped in for coffee and lattes. ended up waiting 50 minutes. after 30 minutes asked for a refund (as Harolds mom was waiting in the truck this whole timeand the lady said "Refund? I dont know how to do that on a credit card." the poor family in front of us waited more than us and had come up to the counter multiple times to clarify their order and simply ask for what they had ordered. the workers didnt have much of an idea of what the order was. one lady in the back was vocally blaming the other, one worker who came in near the end just kept asking for patience when we had all given plenty of it. another client was coming back with orders that were incorrect. it was a gong show. Im not sure if this was an exception to their usual service but we certainly had a bad client experience. no accountability. no pleasantries. one insincere apology at the very end.

Just stopped in for coffee. Out of dairy except for half and half. Super crowded and noisy. Poorly laid out. Merchandise just kind of put everywhere no real flow.

Such a good cafe and store! Staff is so kind, coffee is great and lots of cool stuff. If you’re in the area I would recommend stopping by!

What an adorable little cafe, it has a bunch of cute little novelties and imo, perfectly priced.

The hospitality shown to me by the owners was above and beyond what I could have asked for. They were easy to get a hold of if i needed anything.The room was cozy and very clean. The café itself was such a unique place and had a great atmosphere. I wish I had more time to look at all of the interesting things they had in the store.Would highly recommend staying here!

We came out for a drive, owner said ok to pop in,they were actually closed. Loved it! great people, cool gifts and next time sure to try a coffee! ☺️

I always enjoy coming to The Spirit Rock Cafe and Inn! It is such a beautiful place! The coffee, drinks, and food are all prepared with the greatest of care and everything tastes amazing! The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and accommodating. It is lovely being there and I always enjoy stopping by. The staff are SUPER kind and respectful. They always have a personal experience with the customers and are keen to help out with whatever I need. They even have chickens in the back who are super friendly and tame, me and my family all love them. The location is super, and is very close to the beach, which is perfect for me. Can’t wait to come back next year, and I thank them all for their generosity.

The bed was rough, no TV, and chickens running around the yard and the decks. The air worked and the hosts are friendly. Wifi was decent

We went for a quick one night stay end of July and it was absolutely wonderful!The staff welcoming and friendly, the room cozy and clean and the property all around was so charming.Highly recommend, and will definitely be back!

Overpriced, rude staff. Thai iced coffee was watered downand flavorless, 6 dollars for basically swill.

This is a great place from which to explore Grand Beach Provincial Park.

Didn’t stay but stopped in to take a look at the store and grab a drink...lady at the front was talking with another group she obviously knew. That’s fine, however we walked up to buy a drink and a bracelet and no one said hello or offered help. Woman said “Have you figured out what you wanted yet?” We were kind of shocked at her lack of politeness...we told her not yet and all she said was “okay I’m walking away now”...too bad because we like the look of everything and there was lots of potential but not with an attitude like that!!

I make sure to stop here every time I go past.

I have a cottage and I go here all of the time, best coffee in town. Owner is such a sweet woman, very welcoming and accommodating. Other staff are very friendly as well. Lots of cool knickknacks and jewelry to shop for.

Owner was very kind and even offered to customize breakfast options for my picky kids. Coffee was delicious and she very generously threw in some extra treats at no charge when she thought my kids hadnt had enough to eat. Also the shop had very beautiful and interesting finds! Definitely would stop there again.

Spirit Rock Inn is a clean and well maintained Inn with modern decor. The owner is friendly and very helpful, and has quite an interesting shop below that sells excellent coffee and lates.They earned my repeat business and loyalty.

This review is for the Cafe only: Great, high quality coffee but a limited menu. Very welcoming atmosphere. Great place to meet friends to catch up or just relax.

Dont be fooled by the cute and quaint exterior/interior of this place. They will scam you while youre standing in the coffee line.This past weekend I went to Spirit Rock Cafe with my friends for some coffee and the prices, as were listed on the board and also confirmed by the man and woman behind the counter, were $4.50 for a vanilla latte. Yet when I go to pay the man has charged me $6.20 and when I asked why it was that much he tells me that is with taxes. $1.70 taxes on a coffee...? Thats not right! After consulting with my other friends it seems that they all paid over $6 for a coffee...which was nothing but average at that!The service was terrible, the people were rude, and all-around unfriendly. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Never going back here again!

What a hidden treasure in Grand Beach. Easy reservation, very accommodating and personable staff. The room was clean, price was very reasonable, they even added an extra cot (for no extra chargefor my 3 year old daughter - complete with Sesame street sheets and pink blankets which she loved. Very close to the beach if you have a vehicle, parking spot available, and the breakfast the next day was to die for. What a great place to be in - we had a fabulous weekend.
