Spice of India - Indian restaurant in Limerick, Ireland
Best Indian in limerick
The plates were abundant and fulfilling, awesome taste, awesome staff. I only give reviews when I am particularly pleased or enraged. This pretty place was the best where I ate during my time in Ireland
Naan was super thick and dry! Dal wasnt tasty at all. However I did dine last week and Bhindi curry was great!
Food is always hot on delivery and they always get the order right. Just to note that the madras is very very very hot but still lovely! Have been back many many times
Like many of the restaurants in Ireland allergens are clearly marked on the menu, Spice of India is no exception. Many options can be made gluten free. The green curry was delicious and so was the Tom Yum soup. I recommend them both. The soup was a little spicier than what you get in the US, but I liked it. The service was good as well.
Best Indian resturant in Limerick, really tasty food and the service was perfect, very friendly and welcoming staff as well
Really tasty, delicious food, served piping hot ๐ฅ Friendly and welcoming staff. One of the best Indian restaurants in Limerick, Ireland ๐ฎ๐ช ๐ ๐
Order a lamb takeaway here last night - terrible quality, very fatty and chewy. Ordered tandori chicken for starters which was a bit better.
I had dinner here. It was just nice. If you want Indian food( vegetarian or non vegetarian both option available you can go here. Taste was not so good just okay for me but its just my opinion. One Important thing BAMBU and spice of India is same. First we got confused because its name is not visible from opposite side.
Piece of glass in my food! I thought I had broken my tooth. To my surprise, I had bitten down on to a peice of glass!!
Nice Food, Great Ambience and good service. Best restaurant in Limerick for Indian and Thai Cuisines.
Very nice food. If you like spicy food then try the Madras dish
Best Indian food in Limerick at good prices great staff always make you feel welcome
Very ignorant people here me and my child was sitting down and the stuff told us to sit up straight and be quiet also my child have back problems so he wanted to leave as he felt uncomfortable
Very ignorant staff bad tableservice waited over two hours for our food to arrive and then we got to the counter for them to ask โฌ185 for a bill that was only 85 this picture is from a video where he was being very on civil until we prove the bill out and got it payed the food was cold and terrible it was not what we even Oderd would not recommend this restaurant Think it should be closed down tbh video should be shared on their Facebook page
Great ambiance, good service and very tasty food. However I wish the latter was hotter but thatโs me, I love very spicy and fiery Indian food.
Love it, only place I order from consistently
My favourite Indian place in Limerick, please consider getting on Uber Eats.
One of the best Indian food restaurant in Ireland specially for vegetarians. The food was delicious. We have requested them to make curd rice which was not in the menu. Thank you so much chef for making our journey to Galway so memorable with delicious food in the end.
Google map showed the restaurant was open till 11 but it was closed at 10
Chicken Tikka Garlic Bhuna couldnt have been more on point. Veg samosas were tasty too.
Do not take bookings from uk numbers very very rude need to improve there services would not recommend anybody from the uk to visit here
Top Indian food ever had in my life.Always order from them.Lamb tikka is amazing, also all tandoori dishes are really delicious on menu. They also start delivering complimentary salads and papadoms for me.The only thing wouldnt recommend is onion bhaji, but still cannot rate it lower as rest of the food delicious.Best recommendations!
The nicest vindaloo I had in a long time my compliments to the chef, had it before from here but tonight tops the lot.Thank you
Beautiful place with absolute delishhh food! Would recommend to all!
Good food but steady diet of emotional crisis music BUT they were willing to change it to some mellow instrumental music!
Honestly the best indian food Ive ever had.The staff is nice and the athmosphere is absolutely great. Bit of a shame that you cant see anything from this wonderful restaurant from the outside. The prices are resonable. Id definetly recommend it.
Service was fast and very friendly. We might come back and give a second chance to this place just for that. But if I order samosas in an Indian restaurant, I expect the real deal and not something that tastes like it comes from the frozen snacks section. Not that it was bad, but its not worth the money. I was disappointed not to be served green chutney and tamarind chutney with the starters, instead there was a sort of lemonish raita which we didnt eat. Both curries we were served were way too sweet for our taste. The Rogan Josh was very bland and we didnt enjoy it, although our kids ate some. The paneer karahi was nicer and would have been great with more bell peppers and less sugar ! The naan breads were nice as well. All in all, not a bad experience but not great either.
Absolutely beautiful and the staff are so nice especially Aman she really looked after us x definitely give this place a try food is top quality and so freshly cooked x
Very good quality and value Sunday menu. Good service despite being very busy.
Food was delicious and service was excellent will definitely be going back
Great food always.. chef is really nice he even made me up my chilly rice which isnt even on the menu.great food and lovely staff would highly recommend this place
So tasty, and wholesome. A charming, funny waitress. Been here three times and will go again soon. Lovely decor but is up a steep flight of stairs And no elevator.
Newly renovated, friendly staff. We were asked plenty of times if everything was ok. Food was delicious.
Great Indian and Thai food, great service, lovely surroundings, good value, highly recommended.
Very Rude Staff, Food was BaD and stale ...the staff was not ready to accept that the food was stale inspite of wierd stench from Curry. Just the Name is Indian, nothing Indian about the food or staff. Entire staff including chef are UnIndian. Do not Visit this place for Sure
Best Indian food in Limerick, this is the third time in this Restaurant and the food is very tasty authentic Indian.
Nice interior (I think they just recently renovated), and tasty food for a fair price. A place that I would eat at again
A little taste of India. Very tasty and good service.
Best Indian in Limerick. Moghul emperor used to be number 1 but theyve slipped. The Madras here is amazing.
The food is sub par, definitely stale. You could tell by how quickly they got the food and the food was not hot. The place is dark and the staff are just looking for you to finish early so they have the table. I went to have Indian food after a long time, and was really disappointed. If you want genuine Indian food, I would say no to this place.
Just had an amazing chicken jalfresi at this place probably the nicest I have ever tasted. Speedy service good prices give it a try ๐๐ฟ
Very tasty and yummy... good price and customer service.. just loved it...
Very pleased with the service and the meal, very good selection on the menu as well.
The food was really good.. but 1 of the staff member was not polite and welcoming enough. Good hospitality carries more value than good food. You should always treat any India/Asian as you treat white people. Again no offense to quality of food. It was amazing.
This is the Indian Food at Rescue for the Asian guys craving for some real Indian spice in Limerick
Tasty, nice quiet place to eat with some Indian music in the background. Just up the stairs on a main street
I would highly recommend this restaurant. We are frequent visitors to this amazing Indian restaurant, the food is superb. It would be extremely difficult to choose one dish because everything on the extensive menu is absolutely beautiful. The service is wonderful and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting dishes that you may like. A group of family and friends last dined there on 7th October to celebrate my husbands birthday. Everyone agreed that the food and service was wonderful. In addition the restaurant has been recently revamped creating a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable experience..
Great food and excellent service in a casual atmosphere! This is a must try for the area. Visited on September 29th for dinner and tried a sample of many items; appetizers, mains, and desserts. Hard to choose a favorite, they were all good. Happy Grover makes you feel like royalty with his attentive service. The chef came out to great all patrons, which was a wonderful touch. We were well taken care of! Already looking forward to introducing more friends to this restaurant.
Excellent food, value and service. Very cheap too. Highly recommended
