Spice Villa - Fine dining restaurant in Johor Bahru, Malaysia
One of the best Indian cuisine in town. Loved their chicken tandoori. Super juicy and tasty. Price wise is a little expensive but yet the food do judge for their price. Excellent spot and location. A must try!
On Grab they have named themselves, that they are present at Holiday Inn JB, and they are actually at Holiday Villa.
Food was ok but who enjoys to wait for 70 mins for his meal on a Sat afternoon? Restaurant is not even full.
Food taste good .......but service tooo late
If your looking for good authentic indian cuisine this is the place. Good service. Clean & nice ambience.
Briyani is good, a lil too pricey for not all high end dining, can bring in down a lil bit more. Food is good. Service is good
Too much spices add into the briyani and I think it is not suitable to my palate.
Good food but bit pricey and the service was excellent..
Wonderful dining experience........worth the price đ
Nice north indian food....recommend Dum briyani...chicken butter masala...indian breads..
Ordered drinks and it took some time to come. Had to ask 3 times and it never appeared. I had to finally go to the drink counter and request.
Very good taste and ambiance. Really liked it. Hyderabadi biryani was delicious. One star deducted because 1. I find it bit expensive. Not sure if the the benefits really worth it. 2. I may go there again but wont be more than once a year unless I am working in that area. 3. The masala smell and taste was a bit too much in masala tea again one cup of tea should not cost me 8 Ringgit compare to 4 ringgit in other fine dine restuarants in KL e.g. tasty chapati and chapati dot com.
Nice ambiance, easy to locate .Attentive staff. Two of us ordered :1.Fish kebab2.prawn 653. Fish sambal4. Butter mixed vegetables5. Buttermilk ( this was quite good though)However, the dishes were just a little too salty to my taste. Prices higher than average.
Great and authentic Indian food. Love it.
Fantastic northern Indian food,great staff
Very nice place for a group of people. We had our lunch and the prices are reasonable and satisfied. All the dishes were so delicious.
Awesome dinner. The menu is really interesting. I loved the Murghi Malai Kebab chicken! Another recommendation is tje Broccoli Mushroom Masala. Ill definitely be back :)
Good vibe. Tasty berianis. Suggested for whom like indian cuisine
Food and restaurant was good. Authentic dishes.
The briyani and tge palak paneer was delicious. Service is ok. Ambience can be better esp deco.
prefect place for a prefect luncheon .naan is a must food to give a try...
Taste is average for some dishes. Price is high. Briyani is over rated.
Food Not bad. But price is so expensive. I came alone and one main meal, one coffee, one naan and paid 41.
Food tasty very good flavours but they using same spices and gravy for different dishes... We order Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala but the tast was..
Best Indian Restaurant in Johor..Best Fish Fry and Chicken Side dishes..Fresh Juice đ..Egg Bhurjiđđ..Biriyani tastes more into North Indian style of cooking but bit oily..Expensive in terms on Pricing thinking itâs Malaysia..almost same as Singapore food pricing ..they charge 10% service charge as well..will go back to this place as no other good quality Indian restaurant Option in this locality
Tasty Indian food. Chicken clear soup (nearly 9), Chicken biryani (around 24). Prawn Biryani. All are excellent. Easy to reach. Just take back side exit door (KFCof KSL mall. You can see Spice villa.
Best Indian food and rich ambience and excellent service. Must try their food whenever u are in JB
Food was very delicious and they had so much on the menu that l couldnt resist going again and again. Customer service also very good. Amazing experience.. highly recomended!
Service and food are great! Many options for vegetarian and non-veg people!! Highly recommend
We came here after reading the good reviews and we were not disappointed. We ordered Briyani (chicken, prawn and mutton), Gobi Manchurian and naan. Everything was excellent but special mention goes to the briyani. The briyani was light and flavourful and there was generous servings of the respective meats. Two complaints though. Firstly, service was slow and we took time to get the waiters attention on numerous occasions. Secondly, the gulab jamun we ordered had an odd smell and taste. We we informed later that it had not been cooked well. But Id still highly recommend anyone visiting JB to drop by here, especially for the briyani.Dont be fooled by the description. Its not a fine dining restaurant.
Authentic Indian cuisine. Nasi berani mutton is good. Price is a little bit high but service is good.
Overrated. Chicken dishes were dry and a bit hard. Fish tikka was also dry. Peppery fried squid, cheese naan and plain briyani were good. Friendly staff but serving took a bit longer. If youve not tasted much Northern Indian cuisine, this is quite a good place.
Best Indian Restaurant in Town or even Malaysia, food is authentic and flavorful. Regardless of Normal or Vegan option theyre both outstanding. Place is clean and nice, good location, very friendly staff, will definitely come back again!!
Loved every bit of it. Dinner with my family. I ordered mutton bryani, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, cauliflower pakora, garlic naan and white rice. Mango lassi also very tastefull. Really worth ur money, great service. Will come back again when in Jb. Thanks!
Great and delicious food. Specially the mutton biryani was very nice!! Walking distance from ksl resort and in the holiday villa building.
Good food. Had the naan, deep fried ladies finger and chettinad mutton. Awesome spices and great service. Location is convenient especially for Holiday Villa guests. Not too crowded. Only find the drinks a bit on the pricey side
Convenient location. Not the least stingy with their aromatic usage of spices. Spicy hot level can be requested by preference. Each dish is easily distinguishable by its varied spice mixtures; no lazy one main sauce for all kind. Price is reasonable for its kind.
Great food with an affordable price. I found the place very clean with a friendly crew. Ive went there a few times now and will go there again in the near future.
There are so many good vegetarian options. Their service is always top notch and the food never disappoints! Kudos to Spice Villa team :)For vegetarians, Id recommend Pudina Prata, Garlic Naan, Jalfrezi, Diwani Handi and Gobi Manchurian dry.
Only can eat for hungry. Customer service good. But need improvement on food preparing, many item missing inside food. Food damn expensive! Either serve food for price or reduce price! I order mutton biryani, but we only get normal low quality biryani rice and sliced small cube mutton. Rest side dish is need order sperate only.
The Gobi and the tandoori chicken WOW. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced. Worth having dinner here. It is located on the driveway at the Holiday Inn right near KSL. Yum yum yum!!! Erin-(Australia)
Underrated Indian restaurant, price-wise its on a steep side however most of the foods are delicious. Hyderabad Briyani is a must, though they could be a little bit more generous in regard to the portion of their cuisines.
Food is quite tasty, Palak Paneer was good - a bit similar to 7 Spice, which is hard to find. The service was good as well. Its a nice small cozy place. Parking is cheap too.
We just wanted to try out the place..definitely was worth our time. Enjoyed the food and the ambiance. The staff were very friendly too will definitely come again and recommend to family and friends too.
My 1st short vacation with my wife and in-laws @ JB found this Indian restaurant which serves Indian food with class & quality. Many choices of Indian cuisine and chefs recommendations which will make your taste buds go crazy.my must place to visit when im in JBđ
Food was excellentService was greatAffordableMust visit restaurant...
A Halal restaurant located at the ground floor of Holiday Villa. North Indian menu items. Can get crowded on Weekends and Holidays.
Entering the restaurant, the place smelled great! We straight away asked what was it that smelled great and ordered that. It was the tandoori chicken... and it tasted as good as it smelled. We ordered the Mutton Madrasi with plain beriyani and mint paratha. Everything was good, the beriyani is also pretty awesome. The price is a little high - what u would expect in a restaurant located in Holiday Villa, & totally worth it. Will come back again.
Best curry and tikka masala I had in a long time. Service was great. Upon sitting they served you warm water and menu. Tandoori wasnt that great but the other stuff on the menu made up for it. Price ranging 20rm.
A nice halah Indian restaurant in the heart of JB. Nice environment with friendly services. Now...hows the food quality? Good tasty Indian curries and rice..Overall its good value. Worth going for a casual meal.
