Service is absolutely excellent. Manager is so engaging and friendly. The restaurant has been repainted and looks so vibrant and welcoming. Food was amazing.Creamy and fruity Korma dish with fragrant egg fried rice and my partner had a combination dish of Chicken Rogan Josh and Vegetable Dhansak which she thought was sweet and savoury, a great combination in her mind.Naans were hot and very light and sweet. My peshwari naan had just the right amount of syrup on to make it so flavourful. My partners plain naan was light, easy to tear and a great addition to her meal.Great value for money as you can get your Starter, Main, rice and naan together for £11.95 per person.

Have been going to the spice lounge for many years now, always had lovely evening and fabulous food, tonight, food was lovely as usual however the wait was huge!!! We seated at 6.30, not many others in, waited almost 30 mins to be offered poppadoms then almost 40 mins for order to be taken, food arrived at 8.30, although one meal hadn’t been cooked and several bits of our order had been missed. Asked for the bill at 8.55 still hadn’t had it by 9.40. Due to issues I asked for reduction in bill, this was agreed by the chef apparently as the manager had gone home!!!! Was told by waiter that chef said to never come back!!! Not a problem, so disappointed in the evening at what was one of my favourite places, I believe people were also complaining about the delays for their takeaway orders too, so sad, however how the ridiculous chef who told me not to come back would not know if I did as too ignorant to leave the kitchen to sort out issues. I however will not be going back, such a shame that bad service has tainted this place

Good quality take out meal. Nargis kebab was really good as was the Indian garlic chilli chicken. Would recommend.

Had Christmas dinner take away. Trad turkey dinner was delicious, and plentiful. Christmas pud & mince pies, couldnt fault it.

Lockdown or no lockdown..if tour chef cant be bothered to cook then dont bother. Last meal I ordered, I was told to phone next time because quality was poor. Why should I have to do this. Why cant quality be top drawer all the time. You dont accept second rate currency so why should we accept second rate quality.Two orders in a row are lacking in quality and attention, both orders were wrong.and both were poor. Having to phone to have a meal added because they missed it off the order is not good service.You guys are winging it, whatbwill you do when someone enters Chasetown and knows what theyre doing.Weve been promoting you guys for ages but if anyone asks again, Ill tell them to use anywhere except Spice Lounge.I will let the rest disappoint me twice before reviewing just as I have here.

We visit every week. The food and service is second to none, we must have eaten here over a hundred times over the years and I cannot recall having one bad experience. Its always a pleasure seeing Aka and his staff, they are welcoming, friendly and attentive but most importantly, the food is just simply delicious. If you havent given it a try, then do so, you wont be disappointed.

Good quality food, went on banquet night,a Monday, service was well paced and portions were just the right size for me. Maybe a bit small for others though. Only let down was the naan which was far too greasy for my liking but otherwise great meal!

Bland,tasteless curry with 3 chicken pieces in and raw onions believe it or not. Had too chuck it in the bin. Terrible food dont order from here

Good value meal. Attentive service to a large party gathering - 30+. As expected, took a while to order and get starters but when food came it all came together. Main course followed shortly after and all served together. Very good.

The place itself was very bland and boring.The service needs to get alot better.it was just under a two hours wait from being shown to our seats to receiving our food.This is clearly not good enough in todays world.on a good note and the only one the food was good but wasnt worth the wait.To the nice guys who run and work their, you need to get more staff,a bigger kitchen and more chefs because what your doing now does not work you need to get quicker and keep the food a good standard .have a better new year

Being disabled space is important for my wheelchair but I neednt have worried as they had thought of that whilst converting it with new deco, toilets, ramps etc. You dont wait long between meals unless you ask them to space your courses. You take your own Alcohol or soft drinks. Its not essential as they sell soft drinks but not alcohol. Atmosphere is great and the staff are so helpful.

Nan bread thin and more like a chapatty. Curry was lacking in taste, shish Kebab like chipalatas. Overall one of the poorest take-outs we have had, needless to say, I would not recommended.

Having a fab time, great food and service, our first choice for a celebration venue, maybe sorely underated. You really must give it a try. We are regulars and would recommend it 100 per cent. Great food at a great value for money.

We booked a table of 17 at 7pm for a birthday and a leaving meal but were split into two different table each side of the room, we asked to pull the tables together but we werent allowed ever though we booked it all together. Then the first table had their food about 8.30pm so they ate their while the other half of our party were still waiting for theirs. So our came out at 9.15! We also had a taxi booked at 10pm to go out, but we all couldnt make the taxi as the food took too long to be served. I understand there was a lot of people but we booked our table in advance. The take aways got their meals in about 5-10 mins. Very disappointed in this.

Poor service in resterant took to long on order so left. Takeaways were more important to them. This is based on Saturday evening.

Went for a meal on Christmas day, nothing was too much trouble, the food, service and atmosphere were second to none. This place has some new regulars. Highly recommended.

Been here for sit down meals numerous times and also use their take away service almost every week. Brilliant service, lovely food, fast deliveries and more importantly doesnt cost the earth! :)

Having heard plenty of great reviews from locals,i had a takeaway this evening, the place was not busy and judging from my food order, the food was terrible, a little bit of seasoning is not a lot to ask. i have been a chef for over twenty years and i taste everything i make before i serve, as my customer is important to me, but like a lot of places they have got self important and have forgotten about the customer. The menu is rubbish for the area, who in Chasetown wants lobster, on the whole most have never seen a lobster let alone tasted one, where a monkfish tail could easily fill the bill.
