Spectra Restaurant & Cafe in Shendi

Food was good, nice Nile view. The problem was that we made an online reservation on their website but they were not using it so we had to wait for half an hour till a table was free. Im not sure why a restaurant puts a tool for online reservation if they will not apply it. Also their outdoor sitting area needs some shading if you are going there before sunset.

Food quality is very bad the cordon blue and the meat is very bad and not tastyand you have to pay for the parking despite this parking is for the restaurant we don’t recommend visiting it

Place is ok..Portions are big.Food taste and quality used to be good, now its going south everytime i visit spectra.Scenery is nice yet the new aisle built by the nile really killed the vibe.

after waiting 30 minutes to get a table outdoors they refused to give me one of the tables because it is only for families!!!

I am a regular customer there and it was one of my favourite spots on the nile but this visit will be my last for sure. I will begin with the staff that was so unprofessional and messy. They don’t know the ingredients of the dishes and the menu doesn’t provide any information but the name of the dish and its picture next to it, asked them what the smoked chicken hickory dish has to offer and his reply was it is like what the picture shows. Ordered a water bottle and got it after I had to raise my voice at the supervisor after 30 mins without any service. And on a side note, large water bottles were not available.I ordered stuffed chicken spinach, the dish was so small that I finished it within 2 mins, the chicken was so thin and not stuffed with anything at all, topped with a sauce that looked and tasted like yogurt salad and food quality was poor. It is a restaurant that its main serving is dishes, I have had this dish in many places and I can undoubtly say it is the worst in town. I complained about it and the supervisor offered a compensation that I accepted and didn’t get it and he didn’t mention it again.To make the visit a complete disaster: when I asked to pay the reciept and wanted to pay by my card he replied that the visa machine is offline as it lost connection and there is no nearby ATM. I was so embarrassed for I am not a person that keeps much cash in his wallet but had it covered and went home with an empty wallet hoping nothing pops out on my way.I have had other bad experiences but I couldn’t stand how miserable this visit was. If there was a review of zero stars I won’t hesitate to award them with it.

In my today 15 June 2022 visit 1 pm , I find it Very bad and dirty restaurant I don’t recommend it at all.Food quality is very poor , Staff have no experience in basics of hosting guests.Even parking space is very dirty. Toilets are very dirty as flushing of toilets is not working.Ventilation of restaurant is poor as air conditioning system is not working.

I was coming to visit from Australia, and went to Spectra Restaurant with a few friends. EXTREMELY rude behaviour from the staff, they took our order after 1hr then we asked to move tables to outside by the Nile water as we wanted earlier from them. Yet another hour after asking 5 times and rudely leaving us outside without taking our order for drinks, desserts and even bring the cheque to leave.On top food was so basic and the tables were so dirty. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant

i was there in eid vacation, they said there is awaiting list and after waiting for 1 hour and the restrant is empty they said they have aproblem with the food supplier and only 2 dishes are available, and they didnt inform us from beginning, the service was very bad,the stuff not responding, and even the available dish was very bad, i do not recommend it

Had terrible experince , the penna was cold and smelly, staff was very rude , had to change the plate twice for cold food and bad quality , plates and forks werent cleanI dont recommend it at all

Its not bad. The quantity and the price are good, but service is slow.They dont offer any Egyptian food, only "international" dishes.It has a good location because its on the Nile and its big, plus it has Bein Sports.

A good traditional place for a hangout with family or friends .. perfect quality & quantity of food that is relevant to the prices.

The view is simply great, the overall atmosphere of the place is nice and the staff are friendly and attentive, but the food was disappointing to say the least...I ordered smoked chicken, this dish comes with either a pasta or 2 sides, l choose white sauce pasta with and it was a bad idea! The pasta was cold, the sauce was lumpy, the cheese on top not melted, the the chicken was OK (at least not as bad as the pastaso you probably should order other side dishes

Amazing location. Wonderful view of the great Nile river. Food is good and prices are responsible... Staff needs a lot of development and training first they need to treat customers better !!!

Very beautiful place. Nice food menu and drinks. Perfect view on the Nile with a tree inside the restaurant that gives it an ancient atmosphere.I enjoyed it a lot.Recommended! 🤗

Cost effective restaurant. Steak is one of the best

I genuinely enjoyed my dinner there. Excellent and super friendly service. Interior design was built on a tree that you actually see the tree from inside and penetrating the roof.Food was 8/10 didnt like the pasta white sauce, the remaining was delicious and warm. Loved the appetizers.Great view of the Nile River.

Awesome nile view, and trees inside are wonderful, but service is very very slow and staff isn’t trained enough to handle many orders and serve them well.Food quality is good, but comes late (order take around an hour). Overall, fair but stuff need to develop themselves better to make clients happier.

The restaurant has an amazing view overlooking the nile, It has outdoor and indoor seating area, I recommend the outdoor.The food is so delicious and they have a wide variety of choices.The staff is very friendlyIts a value for money

The view is just fantastic but unfortunately I was so amused that I forgot to take a photo😂. The restaurant consists of 2 floors both include indoor and outdoor setting and it is constructed keeping a huge tree inside with its branches passing through the roof. In summer, it’s recommended to set indoors. The food is also good but of moderate quality which is not very different from all spectra branches. I always experience low to moderate quality food in spectra but it is suitable to the cost. The problem was in the sauté and mashed potato, felt like they weren’t fresh. However, the dessert was way better. I recommend having chicken dishes, dessert and drinks there.

Spectra is right across the street from Conrad, so we decided to have dinner here one night. As we entered, we noticed that there is no air conditioning on the inside, so we chose to sit on the deck. There was a cool breeze, so that made it much better than sitting inside.We were handed menus and I could tell the server did not have a good understanding of English. I think he ran off to get someone that did speak English as another person that looked like a manager was able to speak English and work with us. The menu is pretty large, but they have a good selection. We opted to do the rib-eye combo email as it came with a drink and dessert for one price.After we ordered, they served us a pasta salad, green salsa and mushroom soup. They also gave us a bread plate as well. This alone was a lot of food, but shortly after, our steaks came and after that was dessert. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. For the value, it was well worth it.

I loved it very much. The location overlooking the Nile is amazing 🤩 Directly in front of Conrad Hotel.The restaurant is very large, two floors, and has a great outdoor area.If we come to the menu, it is really one of the largest menus that I have seen in all restaurants. They have a very wide variety of choices, from pasta, soup, grilled, steak, and they also have very special combo meals for more than one person.Prices are considered above average.The service is good and the staff is friendly.They have a private garage.

When you are staying at the hotels across the road from this restaurant, then there are no other options to dine at thats a walking distance.So we visited this restaurant and its OK I guess.Theres a huge menu and you wouldnt know what to actually choose unless you make inky pinky ponky...Ordered the meals and it came in due time, and here too the quality wasnt all that bad, but nothing great.Steak ordered was medium but came well done. They dont know how to make them as requested it seems.The outdoor seating and tables are of low standards. Youd think youre at a take away joint.There was a cat that refused to leave us alone , and we ended having it join us for the meal.

The place is amazing, serving is great too and the portions are perfect.

Its great place to relax in week end in front of nile river and they gave good soft drinks hot &cold also food so i recommend great view ps you should reservation before

Nice view, its the main selling point.The menu is huge and diverse, you can order veal, steak, chicken, fish and sea food. Combos are large and well portioned.Food quality is overall good, you can expect everything to be good but nothing is outstanding or especially excellent.They are alittle short on staff members so during busy days you can expect the service to be a little slow.

One of the best food experiences i have ever had. The taste was perfect and the Nile view was great. Their was a fast service and a helpful crew that are doing their best to make you happy.

Spectra El-Shagra give a good experience as it offer a great view over the Nile....Letting you enjoy the open fresh air in the crowded capital... A very nice place with a good menu full of a lots of choices that will fulfill your needs....And the place offers a parking area that makes it easy access..Recommend the Nile view... Its awesome.After this visit I didnt like the food... The quality lowered and the price got increased.Still the best part of this place is the great view of Nile.

Wonderful Restaurant, with warm atmosphere and beautiful view of the Nile. Staff is friendly too.You can sit outdoor, on the ground floor or upstairs.Parking available onsite.Variety of menu options, different selections of appetizers, main dishes and desserts.Food is of good portions, tasty, served quick enough.

The view is brilliant specially in sunset, food is delicious and service is awesome.The prices a bit high but it is almost same prices like any other restaurants in same category, for an example 2 main dishes and soft drinks would cost you around 450 EGP.Parking there is a disaster in rush hours, the area in front of the restaurant entrance may not be enough.They have indoor and outdoor tables.Beverages there are good too, they make coffee (cappuccino, Moucha, etc).Desserts there is delicious also.

I liked the service in Ramadan as for a big group they were careful every person has his dish unlike other places, the cleanliness is not perfect in the outdoor area but its worth the view

Although it has a nice view, the resturant is dirty and the food I ate is less than average. I do not recommend it.

The Restaurant is really nice the staff is fast, the atmosphere is amazing, taste of food is excellent, Nile view for most of tables, there is a parking space , value for money is 95% deserve, the only negative point about the place is the rest room which is really narrow and no enough space except for 1 person can include, i highly recommend Spectra the Tree as its known for family, couples and individuals and groups.

Very good restaurant and café, first there is a parking lot. It was a wonderful experience, starting the moment you step in, you get a great feeling that adjust your mode no matter how were your day going. But th ere was a problem with the background song selection and the TV choices, some songs were a little bit aggrieve to whole atmosphere and I think the TVs should be removed. the view is marvellous right on the nile river bank there are tables right at the tip you can feel you are siting on the water, various variety of different dishes.
